I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with Perry and his team. I had a leak coming between the chimney and siding due to the chimney structure separating from the house. I spoke with several roofers who either didn’t seem to know what to do or just tried selling me on a whole new roof without addressing the chimney. Perry was quick to respond to my inquiry. He came over and was extremely thorough in his evaluation and gave me an estimate on the spot. Perry and his team came by earlier than he initially planned and rebuilt my entire chimney, replaced all rotted wood and insulation behind it, and replaced the top section of roof which was due to be replaced in a couple years or so anyway. Throughout the rebuild Perry sent me pictures of the progress keeping me in the loop the whole time. I also requested to do gutter guards on the top gutters as well as separating the upstairs bathroom exhaust vents to each have their own vent instead of sharing a single one which Perry gladly accommodated. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end. Perry takes pride in his work and it shows. I will be using Build 2 Last Contracting for any future repair needs.

If I had one word to describe Perry it would be AMAZING! A neighbor's tree fell on my house causing extensive damage to my roof and second floor as well as structural damage on the first floor. Three contractors gave me estimates that far exceeded what the insurance company was willing to pay. The day Bob Tilghman recommended Perry at Built 2Last Contracting was my lucky day. I chose Built2Last to install a soffit vent and do some work on the gutters after speaking with a few contractors. First thing I liked was the fact that Perry took time to discuss the work with me in detail (I didn't know if I would need to replace the whole roof or just make some fixes), and immediately gave me a written quote using a tablet, while some other contractors didn't even bother to call me back. It was a pleasant experience.He was also answering all my questions when the work was being performed, and made sure it was done properly. I'm happy with the result. This company is reliable.

Working with Perry was great. He had installed the roof on our house for the previous owner and we called him when we noticed water coming into the basement. Perry came out, did a full inspection of the interior and then went on the roof. He then let us know that the previous owners didn't want new flashing when having the roof installed (facepalm) and that was likely the cause of the water. He gave us a fair price on installing and came when he said he would to install. I would recommend Perry and built2last to anyone.

I contacted Built2Last when the gutter attached to my home’s deck started to detach. The owner (Perry) came by personally to evaluate the situation and we agreed that the gutter needed to be replaced. A few days later, 1/4 of the old gutter came down. Perry and one of his guys came over very quickly to remove the rest to prevent a dangerous situation and possible damage to the deck. A new 6” gutter was installed, and the finishing touches (soffit and a perforated gutter guard) were done today.This was not an easy job. There were some weird steps taken in the original design of this deck. Some custom cutting was needed to permit the soffit to be installed correctly.The end result is a securely attached gutter with soffit installed to prevent birds and insects from nesting under the deck. It looks great and Built2Last did a professional job at all times.
