I recently had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding service from the heat pump technician at Nauman. From start to finish, the entire service was a seamless and pleasant experience, leaving me thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise demonstrated by Mike the service guy.Throughout the service appointment Mike exhibited a deep understanding of heat pump systems. They try to rip you off on repairs, watch out! I recently had them out for a noisy furnace. Their tech came out and diagnosed a bad draft inducer, makes sense that this is where the noise was coming from. Their tech broke my gas valve while servicing the unit and wrote it up as the gas pressure not being correct as the reason the valve needed to be changed. The unit was cycling properly so this sounded far fetched but we ended up paying $579.00 (on top of the $89.00 diagnostic/dispatch fee) that day to pay for the part and four extra hours of labor and still not having addressed the noise (way too much for a gas valve and labor to replace).I was then sent a quote for $795.00 to replace the draft inducer which was what the problem had been all along. I looked up the price of the draft inducer and found it online for $142.53. I ordered the part and replaced it myself in 25 minutes, never having worked on a furnace before or ever replacing a draft inducer. I had asked for a price breakdown of the part and labor on the quote and was given a song and dance about how that wasn't really possible which is insane.I pointed all of this out to their Service Manager (person who told me they could not give me a part and labor breakdown for the quote) who only acknowledged the part of my email where I wanted to cancel the monthly HVAC membership my wife had signed us up for with Nauman in fear of being ripped off in the future.Watch out for places that do this and ask for your quotes to be broken out with the part(s) and labor separately. If a company is unable to provide this then run.

Update 4/22/2024, had my A/C system serviced today, as usual the service tech, Nick, did a great job. I also appreciated that Nauman called me to schedule the service. Gary came out to do an estimate on our home which had a lot of old rusty pipes and bad connections. Couple of weeks later the work was scheduled but our pipes froze in the meantime. Gary showed up exactly as promised, was awesome and walked us through the whole process. Everything looks 10x better than we even thought pipes should look. Thanks so much Gary and Nauman team!!

I have used Nauman several times now, for plumbing and HVAC. They are not the cheapest but they're not outrageous either. However, they are top notch professionals who do high quality work so I intend to continue using them. By fixing it right the first time they are saving me money in the long run. I'm very satisfied.

I selected Naumann to convert my oil boiler to gas, which I use for heat and hot water. From the onset, which was meeting with their Specialist Dave for options and quotes, to installation by Shane and Zach the process was amazing. They were far and away the most cost competitive providing financing if needed, or a percentage off if not. The installation took two days and the technicians made sure I still had heat and hot water between those two days. The unit itself and the workmanship look like a work of art. They brought me through how it would operate including a new smart thermostat that can be operated from anywhere. Bottom line - I would highly recommend them for your home needs. I would contact them again for projects I have planned for next year.

I would not hesitate to call next time repairs are needed. He made a custom molding/chair rail to match the existing one that we have and it is absolutely beautiful! I've now had 5 or 6 different technicians at my house and each one was professional, diligent and stayed at the job until it was completed. Gary Nasca is simply the best plumber in PA, in my opinion and experience with him. Best price, best customer service, best installation of an acid neutralizer, water softener, UV light disinfectant, and two 50 gal short boy heaters, and it's worth mentioning a second time, the best customer service. We chose to work with Nauman for our kitchen project, and are so glad we did! We had a lot of back-and-forth with Chris as we were figuring out the specifications of our project, and he/the team were very patient & understanding in the process. The only hiccup came about when the project was delayed in starting, which made us a bit nervous, as we had a hard deadline to keep. We spoke with both Chris and John about our needs, and they were able to make and keep a firm commitment to an adjusted timeline that worked for us all.The work itself was so smooth - different teams came by for different aspects of the project on most days for a 3 week period. This project involved taking down a wall, replacing countertops and tile backsplash, and installing a new sink. Not the biggest project, but we were floored by the attention-to-detail and craftsmanship of the finished product. There is truly no evidence that the now-absent wall was ever there, and we're so happy with the new kitchen elements that Nauman/their teams installed.We have loved working with Nauman over the last few years, not only because of the consistent, high-quality results, but also because of the interpersonal skills of all of the team members who have come to our house. We have never experienced any of their team members saying or acting in a way that made either of us feel uncomfortable, which is really noteable, based on our experiences with other service providers in the area. Working with Nauman may cost us slightly more than what we might pay for other service providers, but we are happy to do so in order to be confident that the end result is going to be something we're happy with, and that we'll be treated well along the way. We are very happy with Nauman. Nick who came to service our mini splits was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He was also very personable and friendly. We are on the comfort plan which is amazing for the price, to have someone come two times a year for the mini splits, and an additional time for a plumbing inspection. The prices for additional services are very fair and affordable, plus Nauman can work with you on a payment plan which is very convenient. Nauman in general is very communicative by email and text to remind us of upcoming appointments as well as send contracts, receipts etc. My husband and I recommend Nauman as the number one choice for mini splits and all your HVAC needs. Nick also mentioned they have started a handy man service which is so great not to get stuck and robbed by a fly by night business.Most importantly we are super thrilled to get away from R.J. Groner, who ripped us off for 6 years whilst not providing appropriate maintenance and therefore degrading our mini splits. No one there ever knew what they were doing. No one but Nauman ever took the units apart and put them back together cleaned and inspected thoroughly.RJ Groner didn't even screw parts back in properly, and that's the least of the problems with them.Thank you Nick, and thank you Nauman for being honest and fair. We truly appreciate it. We are Nauman Customers for life!
