I have over 20 years in real estate and have owned a lot of real estate. I had two other companies look at my chimney for free, where Advanced C charged $300. Then the estimate was well over double the other two companies. The Chimney Guy was around 9k and Advanced was over $20k for the same system. Curtis gave me a general estimate at around 9k as well, but I’m waiting on a more detailed proposal. What makes me upset is paying the $300 and getting an estimate so high. Can’t recommend. I knew my chimney had to be lined and I stated that. It is on me that I fell for this, but I think it is poor practice to charge someone that already knows the chimney/fireplace would need to be fixed at a cost prior to use. I would recommend going elsewhere.

All I can say is, don't waste your time or money going with another company! We made that mistake 2 years ago and our attic caught on fire as a result. Advance Chimney is a top notch company that employs individuals who are professional and knowledgeable. Today, Virgil, Jordan and Andrew came to our home to clean and install a liner in our 2nd chimney. They were very conscious about keeping my home as clean as possible and they were very kind and explained every step of the process to me. From the initial chimney inspection to putting in a totally new fireplace system, Advance Chimney was amazing! Everyone that I met was very helpful and willing to explain anything that I had questions about. They were respectful of my home, my animals, and me while they were installing everything. Don't use this company!. Expensive and they only did half the job of cleaning our wood stove and chimney pipe. Their technician wouldn't get on the roof and inspect/clean the cap. That was July 2022. It's now March 2023 and we've had to stop using the wood stove and call Nickos because there is a tremendous amount of creosote buildup oozing from the chimney cap. After living in my house for 5 years I decided it was probably a good idea to get a chimney inspection to make sure things were ok. The guys from advance chimney sweeps were very professional and explained my situation to me in detail. They determined I didn’t need a cleaning and I appreciate their honesty in not billing me for an unneeded procedure. The detailed inspection report with pictures was great. When the left, you couldn't tell they had ever been here. They also gave me an estimate to repoint my chimney (which I was already sure I was going to need) and to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas. Advance Chimney was very professional and on time over the length of my chimney repair process last year. I moved into my home and the chimney was not usable because there was previously a chimney fire. Advance did an initial cleaning and video inspection. They advised the best solution was to apply a heat shield to the flue to fix the cracks versus an insert for my situation. There were two chemical treatments prior to the fix. They came and did my annual inspection and cleaning this year and provided a returning customer discount rate. Highly recommend, even though their cost may be a bit higher than other chimney services. Requested a sweep and inspection as we were told that our gas fireplace needed some work when we purchased our home. They had to reschedule at first but gave a discount for the inconvenience. They were able to move our appt up after a cancelation which was great that they offer that. DJ was very nice and professional; called before arriving, wore a mask, and even consulted the supervisor cat. Did a great job cleaning the chimney!

Hey kids. If you need your chimney repaired, just call these guys. Sure get some quotes or whatever, but you’ll end up here. Just had 3 days of solid, professional, high quality work done by James and Andrew. True professionals from Advanced Chimney in every sense of the word. Had new brick installed (92 year old house) chimney sealant, and caps put on. They crushed it and were the best to work with. 10/10.So don’t bother with those quotes and just call these guys.

Scam artist. He charged me $200 for an estimate and gave me an estimate that would buy a small house. For the estimate charge he climbed a ladder to the chimney for 2 minutes, then took photos in my basement and emailed me the estimate super fast from his truck. Nice way to make money for playacting, huh? In my opinion, the guy who did the estimate is a crook. Other estimates were normal and I trust them.

ACS did a fantastic job restoring our chimney after many years of heavy use. They cleaned the smoke chamber and flue, applied a new heat shield and removed/applied a new wash on top of the chimney. It was a job we had been putting off for many years dreading the mess, inconvenience etc. ACS was absolutely fantastic and the experience was beyond our expectations. He (DJ) showed up a little early like we requested. He remembered from the last cleaning. He did an excellent job by repeatedly checking the areas he cleaned and took photos, kept surrounding area very clean, wore a mask at all times which was important to us. He asked where to dump the crud from the stove pipe. We have already scheduled our January & May 2022 appointments.
