I called them out to clean my chimney so we could safely use our hot water heater. While he was cleaning it, he discovered that an adapter was corroded and broken. He promptly got the part and installed it immediately. We weren't even charged for the extra labor, only for the part. I would absolutely use them again next time we need our chimney serviced.

I had them come out because my fireplace would leak when it rained. Now If I pay premium pricing I expect premium service. All I got was an incorrect diagnoses that cost me 1850 and didn't resolve my issue only to be told after 4 visits I needed to contact a roofer because the chimney if FINE.FINE?! Why wasnt it it fine prior to charging me for unnecessary work? The roofer is now redoing the entire chimney flashing that was done because all they did was put a bunch of tar on the existing flashing which already peeling away from the chimney and has cracks in it.I expect a proffesional to tell me I need a roofer for my leak at the first consultation. Not perform guess work that eats away at my time and money and still doesn't resolve my issue. They left me dealing with the same situation they came to fix and I'm out 1850 dollars.Would not reccomend.

This is the second year we have used United Home Services for our gas fireplace. Last year we had an issue in November and they were quick to respond — I called early in the morning and received a call back within the hour. They were able to get someone here quickly. When the technician came, he was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything. He was professional and answered all of my husband’s questions. We just had them come and inspect/clean our fireplace to get us ready for this year. Same great service. Since I was not here for the last visit, Ron took the time to explain everything to me and answered my questions as well. I can’t say enough about the company — the service, professionalism and knowledge — all excellent! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.Service: Stove & fireplace cleaning

We had our chimney cleaned last week by United Home Services I could not be happier!! The price was reasonable for the chimney sweep. We had a little extra work done which I assume was in the ballpark. The technician that we had his name was Eddy you could not ask for a kinder nicer sweeter person and knowledgeable example he knew he was running behind so he called twice to let me know that he was on his way. I would definitely give them a 10 if there were enough stars ********** I will definitely have them back again

These guys are great. Good price for quality work. I got my chimney liner installed also was able to get financing at a great rate! These guys are professional and they clean up great! I call them everytime for yearly cleaning also great price. I recently moved to a home in PA that included a propane stove which was not operating correctly. United Home Services was quick to respond to my call for assistance. The service technician was professional, experienced and very considerate. I would give them more stars if that was possible! 10/10!

Had them come clean my chimney told they make sure flute going to boiler was block so nothing got in there but that didn't happen had my boiler cleaned 3 days before they came and had to have it cleaned the day after to clean from them allowing debris to get in boiler and causing it to run rich because of of it they were so worried about selling a new chimney liner for $4000 they neglected to worry about it cleaning chimney debris out properly . I had a chimney guy who has been doing it for 32 years come out he said whoever cleaned failed to clean everything out properly and cleaning the flute out of debri is part of cleaning the chimney and should have been blocked off from debri getting in and using a power drill hooked up to brushes caused some of the damage

ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Called to have an electrical issue with the auger caused by what we found out was a faulty sensor. Fixed that….kinda. The “technician” just hot wired it and eliminated all the safety features on the hopper lid just to make it work! Then says it needs to be cleaned when it just was weeks earlier. Miraculously the room blower doesn’t work now that he’s gone but did before he arrived. We call someone else and when they open up the stove and the proof of fire switch is UNPLUGGED totally. Why did he need to even go over to that motor? There was no reason no issue but there are two wires hanging free from where they need to be. This switch senses flame so that the blower knows when to kick on and start moving the hot air. Said he would be back tomorrow to fix it for a $600 quote!!! Plugged the wires in and the stove works perfectly fine. Charged us $200! Unfortunately we had to have another company come out to show us what had happened and they fixed it free of charge just the service fee. So save your money. Call Firestarters.

Would highly recommend United Home Services, they installed a wood fire and 4m flue into a vaulted ceiling in under four hours! We absolutely love our new wood fire and can't imagine a winter without it.

Logan , my service technician, was very professional, highly qualified and very knowledgeable. He gave several options, explained them answered all questions and left literature recapping the options. He was called to clean my woodstove chimney. After inspecting and documenting via camera, he did a great job. I have been very disappointed in the past by other professionals who never cleaned up after themselves. Logan did a very good job cleaning up and no soot got on the light carpet. I will be hiring them again for chimney repairs. We just bought a new house recently and one of the main issues we had was to get someone to come down and clean out the old masonry chimney and fireplace that had been left ignored for a very long time. It was part of the deciding factors why we got the house in the first place. Anyway, we gave them a call and arranged an appointment because we had no idea what was needed. They talked us through it all, gave a reasonable price and got the work done the following weekend with no hassle. Needless to say, we were more than impressed and even booked our yearly maintenance with them.

Our tech, Shawn was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took pictures and discussed everything with us. He cleaned everything up, even kept to the estimated time for completion. Great job!The only thing I didn't love was trying to schedule the time. You are given a 3 hour slot for arrival, even if you ask for the first appointment of the day. That's obviously not the techs fault. I understand that because of traffic they cannot give an exact time, but 3 hours, for the first appointment of the day? That's rough.Overall, great experience.

We scheduled for a chimney cleaning and inspection and were completely surprised that Shawn found two serious problems with our second chimney. He was able to fix them as well as complete the work we had arranged for and do a small repair on that chimney as well. All done efficiently and neatly.

Responded to our request for chimney cleaning within days. Completely cleaned both chimneys quickly. We use our fireplaces as a primary source of heat in the winter and they cleaned them so well that they look like new. Courteous and efficient. Will definitely use them again next year.
