New review:I recently hired Cavacini Custom Remodel for the second time to repair water damage in my condo. Their response time was very fast. They were amazing in terms of communication with the insurance company. To my surprise, all of my flooring, mold remediation, drywall, and paint work, was covered by the insurance company! Their attention to detail in the Kitchen renovation portion of the project was top notch! They definitely work as an advocate for the homeowner to make sure you get everything your policy covers! Cavacini Custom Remodel rebuilt our basement after we had water damage from a hurricane. The owner, Peter, is extremely knowledgeable about basement water damage restoration and offered helpful suggestions on how to make the area waterproof moving forward. It was a big project that included drywall, insulation, a new closet, flooring, baseboards, and painting. With Peter’s excellent communication and close attention to detail, we didn’t have to worry about anything. The basement looks amazing and everyone on the team was incredibly professional. We would highly recommend this company. From start to finish Pete’s team were highly professional, approachable, and did top quality work. We had repairs in our finished basement that left the wall needing extensive repairs to match it with the rest of our finished basement. They did a beautiful job. We also had them provide and install new carpeting to the entire area because we knew it would be done right. It saved us having to hire another vendor to do the carpeting. Pete brought us samples to choose from so we didn’t need to leave our home. He gave us a option to do it at his office but we liked what he showed us so we picked from the samples he had. Our basement looks so nice now. Peter and his crew were tremendous. Pete even went out of his way to help us look for tile!We utilized originally for a ceiling replacement due to a water leak. They diagnosed the issue to be the shower.So we are getting our entire shower re-done + a ceiling at an amazing price and excellent customer service.Down the road, we will utilize them to finish our basement. Pete responded quickly to our request for an estimate and was able to complete the job the following day. He provided and installed five interior doors to match others that had been replaced previously. Several of the doors were odd sized and had to be cut to fit properly. Pete and Bill did a great job with the doors and, as a bonus, helped us adjust a frameless shower door free of charge. We are very pleased with Cavacini, we will likely use them again, and will recommend them to friends and family.

Pete has been an excellent resource and my “go to guy” for all of my home improvement needs. Hired first to install a knee wall and collar ties to all of my roof rafters, Pete reinforced my homes structural integretity in an incredibly timely and cost effective manner. Having bought a mid century home in as-is condition last year, I am grateful to have a knowledgeable resource like Pete to work through all the “fun” repair issues that have come up. I have since hired him for other projects like a water damaged ceiling repair, a new door jam, wall patching, painting, and ceiling fan installation.
