Seifert Contracting has been wonderful to work with; their communication is fantastic and their craftsmanship is topnotch! They have a wonderful team, who are so professional and kind!They did the best job repairing our slate roof from wind damage. A tree had fallen through our roof and they had to replace the ridge and rafters and the roof itself as well as all of the slate covering the roof, so needless to say it was a huge job! They were efficient, hard working, very skilled, and they did a great job cleaning everything up! I would highly recommend them!

Everything was great. Sean the estimator explained the roofing system and it’s benefits. Installation team was friendly, professional, and efficient. Clean up was excellent. No nails found in yard. Had an issue with the gutter job which was corrected with no hassle and in a timely manner. Roof looks great! Would recommend Joseph Seifert Contracting to anyone. I had a new roof put on my garage and shed. The estimate was not the lowest I received but I felt they were honest and I wanted someone local. Shortly after we had a storm that left rain coming in my house roof fan. I called Joseph and he came out same day. They made a quick fix for me but I decided to replace the house roof as well. Both times the crews were polite and left my property as they found it. If I had any questions I could call and the girl in the office always answered or called me back asap. How great is that? He put a new roof on our house and 5 years later the roof has failed. When the gave us an estimate they did not look in our attic to see that we had insulation. That has caused the roof to fail and Seifert is not going to stand by his work and has told me that in a way that was upsetting. We don't have the money to replace it so we are stuck. I would not recommend him plus his workers do not speak English so he is using immigrant to do the work.

I signed a contract on Aug. 11, 2021 for a 13x13 metal roof, install two windows, remove asbestos shingles on one side of the house, cover that side with plywood, new vinyl siding, new gutters and down spouts and gutter guards. I was told the roofers would start 2nd or 3rd week of September and the siding guys would follow up a week later.Sean Horan installed one window and after what I seen from his crude installation I knew at that moment I hired a hack contractor and decided to install the other window myself. Next came the roofers, what a joke, they didn’t have the proper tools to work with metal, two young men working with the older roofer didn’t have a clue on what to do, I tried speaking to them but they didn’t speak English. You need to be there watching every step of the way or they will skip the proper roof installation. I called them out on it and Sean always had an excuse for why they forgot something. The roof wasn’t complete, it was missing sidewall flashing. Many text messages, phone calls and they never did complete the roof.Now It’s November and they haven’t been back to the job site, they finally call and say we are going to start the siding next week. Days before the start date they call and tell me it will be delayed because they don’t have all the siding. I called supply houses that dealt with my brand of siding and they told me there were no issues getting product in. I knew they were making it up. I spoke with two attorneys and we decided to wait until December to ask for the remaining down payment back. I called Deb and ask for my money back, they gave me a check for the remaining down money we agreed upon.If you sign with this contractor make sure everything you want done is in the contract. Verbal discussions don’t mean anything legally. Sean under bid my first contractor by eliminating many items I wanted on the house. I overlooked many items and when I confronted him on it he didn’t respond. There is a law in Pa. that forbids this practice. Please read the bad reviews they will tell you everything about Joseph Siefert Contracting LLC. No clue on window or metal roof installation. I warned you.Service: Roof installation

I called the company last week to survey an issue with my roof. They came on time earlier than I expected not only surveyed the roof from the outside went into the attic to observe the leak. I am expecting the estimate in a day or so for the work to be done. Impressed because it was raining this Monday and they did not cancel .

Very nice job! Curtious workers who arrived @ 7:00 am & were done by 3 pm. Did take awhile to have the roof installed BECAUSE IT RAINED OR THEN SNOWED every time we had a date set. Brandt explained everything & was true to his word. Surroundings were cleaner then before they came. Lol. Would recommend.

They do roofs and siding well. Once you get their attention. The job lead on my job was not very good at follow up. The final product was good. We also asked them to do an Andersen 400 patio door install and this was a mistake. Three to 4 calls to get the quote and then over a month wait. It looked like a roofing crew was sent to do the job. They had no clue and tried to push the install down my throat. The door was set incorrectly. A second Crew came out reset the door and still have problems with the bolt lock closing right. Was told that they will be back in a couple weeks to finish. No one ever came.nor called.I had to have someone else come in and had to pay them $250 to fix the mess made by Siefert.Stay away

They came about two months after they said they would to do my roof. The roof was done very quick. I heard a noise in the attic and looked there were birds in there. There were bird droppings on all of my things. I looked to see where they came from. There were large gaps between the roof and the house. They took the gutters off when doing the roof. After getting them to fix that. I asked what is next. I was told siding and then gutters. I said what am I going to do when it rains? I wa told that everything would be done in the next three weeks. Three months of rain and weather. Now my basement is flooding. I called to tell them about this and they said they would get gutters on by Friday. Well it is Sunday night. No call no show. When I said things need to speed up I was told that my insurance claim is secondary to people who use their own money. I am beyond ticked off and I think it is time to contact an attorney.

Well everytime it was time for the guy to come it rained then he finally had a appointment with me and it wasn't raining so he decided to come much later then his appointment without contacting me so I called him and felt as though my roof wasn't as important then other houses he had to go look at so I told him forget about my house and I will move forward with another company so he said no problem yeah really unprofessional I wouldn't use nor recommend this company to anyone.
