We used Cleanworks when our septic backed up into our basement in May 2023. From meeting with our insurance adjuster to moving all of our belongings back in when the project was complete; Cleanworks was there for us every step of the way. The communication was amazing - everyone that we worked closely with (Brendan, Gene, Kevin) was only a text or phone call away and I never had to wait for a response. The final results speak for themselves and we are so beyond happy with this space and all of the high quality work that went into cleaning, reconstruction, and making this space our own again.

I had for the first time water in my basement. I called clean works at 9am & 2 very professional, knowledgeable, informative & courteous young men (Miguel & Jimmy) arrived 2 hours later & got the job done . I’ve never written a review good or bad for any company before but felt I needed to. This company deserves more than 5 stars in my book. The owner (Kevin) walked me thru dealing with my home owners insurance & took care of everything. A stressful situation was made so much less so by Clean Works. Do not hesitate to call them first if you find yourself in the same situation!

Kevin and his team were great! They removed our cabinets and did water clean up. I'm confident we won't have anymore issues! They directed us to all the right people for our counter tops (Compass Stone and Tile, Cranston) and cabinets (New England Custom Kitchen cabinets, North Kingstown). Cleanworks made my catastrophe into a manageable job. They have an insurance specialist to fight for you and I sure needed that! Insurance first denied the claim, then low-balled it. They fought for me and I got the full claim amount. Oh, and BTW, their work, and work ethic, is excellent. They have experienced and talented teams, kept me informed the whole way. They would get a 10 out of 10 from me!!

My mom’s basement was flooded about 3 weeks ago and Cleanworks came that same night in that heavy rain and cleaned up the water and placed all the equipment needed to dry it up. The workers were so understanding, polite and knowledgeable. They had to gutter the whole basement and now in the process for reconstruction. Even though it caused my mom stress they made the process very easy and in a timely manner. Kevin is one amazing guy and reassured my mom that everything would be okay. Thank you Elvira!!!

Kevin and his crew at Cleanworks did an extraordinary job repairing my Mom's kitchen after a large water leak. They matched cabinetry and replaced flooring. My mother suffers from dementia, anything out of the ordinary throws her. Kevin worked with her caregivers to arrange convenient scheduling and minimum interaction with multiple people due to Covid. I had a pipe burst in my basement at a rental property and flooded everywhere. Right after I called Clean works they responded extremely quickly to midigate any further damage. I ended up filing a claim and they were able to walk me through that process. They made it convenient. I didn’t have to be at the property while they did the work and when I went to check later on it was done so well. Highly recommended.

Gene, Project Manager, then started communicating with us every step of the way about next steps, and how the process works. Over three months, he communicated and managed the rebuild of our bathroom and basement professionally and with a lot of passion. The main sewage cast iron pipe in our house had a huge crack in it (it was as old as the house), which caused leak in our basement. We had to tear a half-bath, tear down some walls, etc. Cleanworks dealt with the insurance claim, the mitigation and the restoration. The work took a while to complete but they were very upfront about the projected timeline. They did a wonderful job of restoring the damaged areas back to their original state (and even better). I appreciate the quality of subcontractors they work with, as well as their emphasis on communicating with their customers. They don’t evade, they set you up with a tentative schedule for completion, and they pay attention to small details. I really felt that our house was cared for and that’s usually not the case with most contractors I had experience with. I cannot say enough good things about Cleanworks. We had a severe incident at our home several weeks back, and these guys are likely the only reason our house is livable today. A city sewer line got clogged and started dumping gallons upon gallons of raw sewage into our basement / professional wood shop over the course of 9 hours. We were referred to Cleanworks at the start of the incident, who showed up with a team within 2 hours of us calling (on a Sunday, no less) and a truck ready to pump. When the situation increased in severity, Cleanworks brought more trucks to pump and waited on stand-by for the city to finally clear the clog so that they could do the actual cleanup part. After the clog was finally dislodged, 6-7 hours after the Cleanworks guys arrived, they stayed until almost midnight to clean, disinfect and start drying out the affected areas. It took nearly 4 days to get the basement dry, and each day the project manager we worked with would touch base and talk to us about the next steps or check in to see how we were. They did a fantastic job with the cleaning, dehumidifying and deodorizing. Our basement is now in great shape to be reframed and resealed, and I don't think I would be able to say that if it wasn't for the fantastic work that Cleanworks did. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement.Beyond the great work they did to save our home, I almost want to note the human factor because it made a massive difference to me. There are no words to describe what it is like to watch your home and workspace fill up with raw sewage, the Cleanworks guys could have been indifferent to our situation, but instead, they were calm, reassuring, and helpful. They made us feel like it would all be okay, and in a time of crisis, that was a bright light in an otherwise awful situation. So, if you need help cleaning up a disaster that happened to your home/office/location, call these guys because they do fantastic work.Services: Water removal, Sewage cleanup

When my hot water heater burst and flooded my basement with 2-3 inches of water, Cleanworks crew were on the scene within the hour to take up all the water and dry the place out. They then came back to rip up all damaged flooring . Including tile and carpet and . They took care of dealing with my home owners insurance claim. And we are now in the restoration process. I can’t say enough good things about CleanWorks. I had water damage in my basement after accepting an offer to sell my house. They arrived the same day I found the water and began cleaning that day, and allayed any worries I had about dealing with insurance or completing the sale of my house. Kevin, John and their team of professionals did an amazing job. A pipe burst in our house and they were here the next day (a Saturday!) to clean everything! I found Cleanworks via a recommendation on FaceBook. I called Kevin, explained the mold situation I had in my crawl space and arranged an inspection. Kevin impressed me right away with his communication and sense of urgency to help my situation. We coordinated his mold removal work with another company that was handling the final encapsulation work of the area, once the crawl space was cleaned. His crew of Nick and Issac were thorough, professional and perfectionist in doing a great job of removing the mold and cleaning the crawl space. In fact, the second crew who did the encapsulation told me THEY were very impressed with the quality of work Cleanworks had performed. My wife was almost 9 months pregnant and we had a puff back situation with our furnace that pushed soot all throughout our entire house. This was not the environment we wanted to bring a new baby home to. I cannot overstate how grateful I am that I heeded the suggestion of my coworker and contacted Kevin Lang and his company, Cleanworks Inc., instead of just going with whatever company the insurance company suggested. It was clear to me from our first meeting to gather information for quoting that Kevin was knowledgeable and professional. The work was scheduled and as luck would have it, a baby was born. I wouldn't have a house to bring the family back to until the job was done.Cleaning an entire 2000+ sqft house from top to bottom, including all surfaces and most belongings correctly is a huge undertaking. Kevin and his crew worked long days to get the entire job done in a few days so that we could get back in our home as soon as possible. The attention to detail and overall quality of the work was very good but what made my experience with this company stand out and the reason why I am taking the time to write this review is the level of service I received from Kevin Lang. I had a lot on my plate and Kevin took care of EVERYTHING. He worked directly with my insurance company and submitted meticulously detailed estimates that helped the process go smoothly. Kevin's crew did the majority of the cleaning themselves but contracted other trusted vendors to take care of additional items such as replacing insulation, duct cleaning, and dry cleaning, etc. Kevin made sure these vendors knew what they had to do and when they had to do it. I just had to sign off on it. The overall process of getting this house squared away spanned over several weeks and Kevin's level of communication was outstanding. Kevin was always available to answer any question and got back to me very quickly. He took the initiative to check in with me just about daily, it not more often. He made it clear to me that he wanted me to be informed and completely happy with the entire project, even sending messages, answering questions, and making arrangements while he was away on a family vacation outside of the country. Kevin went above and beyond what was necessary on multiple occasions. Although I still do not wish a puff-back on anyone, Kevin Lang and Cleanworks really made it about as painless as possible and my family and I are very grateful to have crossed paths with him.

Had an old pipe leak which led to our basement being flooded with dirty bathroom water. I was referred to Kevin at Cleanworks from a friend and he did not disappoint! He was very responsive, did a Very Clean job by blocking off my kitchen and living area from the dust during the demo and during the repair. We were still able to get around with a custom made zipper in the plastic which was very convenient since we still needed to access the basement. From beginning to end, Kevin was VERY PROMPT and RESPONSIVE with any questions that we had since this had never happened to us before. All in all, if you happen to have the bad luck of busted pipes or flooding in the basement, then I recommend getting in touch with Kevin who will walk you through everything that needs to get done at a Very Reasonable Price and Awesome Service! CleanworksA pipe burst in the finished basement. Cleanworks was recommended by The Plumber Co, who repaired the pipe that left a foot of water that came through the drop ceiling down the wall to the floor. Professional help was needed to deal with water damage, mole and cleanup. Cleanworks arrived assessed the situation. First, contained mold from spreading, sanitized, and cleaned up to prepare for the restoration. Once, completed we move into restoration. This entailed, hanging a new drop ceiling, plaster, plumber, electrician, carpenters. Clean works sent highly trained experienced team to rebuild the room. A superior job ! As a new home owner, I had no idea how to solve the issue of 6 inches of water in my basement. I called a friend and minutes later Kevin called me. Call Kevin he is your guy! I had a mold issue in a home that I am selling and had called 2 other mold remediation companies before I spoke with Kevin . The other companies all wanted me to do additional work , therefore a higher cost all to obtain the same goal. Kevin came in , was fair in his price and was there the next day to fix the issue . He also always answers his phone or will get back to you right away. I highly recommend Kevin and Cleanworks !
