Highly recommend this company to anyone in the area! They got a quote back to me quickly, and put me right on the calendar to get the job done. We had gutters installed at our home, and they were able to match the ones we already had on the house. I also wanted to match the color to paint our decking, and he even cut me a small piece of the material so I can use it for color matching. Overall, amazing service and great customer experience. Had a guy come out for an estimate. What a joke!!! 2 weeks later and still no estimate no nothing. My wife has called once 7 days after the initial visit and still nothing.I have since used South Point in Aiken and while waiting on my estimate for 2 weeks that I never got I’ve had gutters, gutter guards, and shutters installed.Bates & sons are pretty pathetic imo!!

We are so happy with the professional job Bates & Sons did when they added a screened porch to the back of our new house. The job took 2 1/2 days and they were there every morning until the job was complete. Donnie’s design and build skills were exactly what we wanted! Fantastic job and we couldn’t be happier! Our screened porch can be their model if anyone would like to see one before having a job done like this at their home!Service: Remodeling

My husband and I scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and give us an estimate on some gutters. Our appointment was for 2:00pm. 2:00 came and gone and at 2:20 we call and the man said he'd be there in a few minutes. 2:40, 40 minutes LATE, he finally shows. No apology for his tardiness. Very rudely, he walks out to where we want the gutters. The whole time he is talking to me like I am an idiot and don't understand what he is saying. I mentioned to him that our appointment was at 2:00 and stated I was getting ready to leave. Still, no apology. He hands me a piece of paper and the estimate is DOUBLE of an estimate we got somewhere else. He didn't even say a thing. Walked out and that was it. I will NEVER call these people again. Poor business and very rude. Wasted my time, I had other things I had to do before I left for work. Just absolutely horrible.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Highly disappointed. We had damage from the storm back in early April and called Bates and Sons to come repair the side of our house. They came out the very next day for the estimate, which I think was extremely high for what we needed done, but we needed it done ASAP. They told us they would be back the next week. Two weeks later with no word from them my husband gave them a call. The lady said she thought our job had already been done and said she would speak with the contractors and have them call us back. That next afternoon we still had not received a call back. So I called the office and the receptionist seemed highly annoyed with my call and again said she would speak with the contractors and get back with me. She left a voicemail that night (Thursday), and said that on the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday they would be by. Well here it is Wednesday. I called FIRST thing this morning she said let me call them and call you back. She called back around 10 AM and said that they would be here this afternoon. Its 5:30 they are now closed and no word. So frustrating. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will never recommend Bates & Sons to anyone

Just had them do a screened in enclosure on my deck. They did excellent work and were very nice to deal with. I would highly recommend them for any project you may have.
