Rainbow Restoration is one of the most efficient and organized companies I have ever encountered. They returned telephone calls and arrived at our home very promptly after we experienced a leak. Rainbow Restoration of Columbia is AMAZING! The YMCA had a water heater pipe burst at 1am and we discovered the facility flooded in 3 inches of water at 4:30am. I called numerous companies and everyone told me it would be a 24-48 hour wait time. Rainbow Restoration said they would do their best to help. I got a call 30 minutes later saying that they were on their way! They showed up with four trucks and a team of 10. The managers walked through the building with me and explained exactly what they planned to do. They were thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. They ruined my home. Tore out insulation and left most of it just hanging. Would NOT recommend them for anything. They left my garden tub and washing machine under an overhang outside for a week to ruin. Please be careful if you use them.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

My wife and I returned from church one Sunday to find our living room carpet soaking wet and full of water. The water line from the refrigerator had leaked and run under the kitchen wall. Our insurance agent recommended we call Rainbow. A technician arrived very quickly, explained the drying and reconstruction process to us and how the insurance claim might work. Within a week we were dry, the repairs were complete and life was back to normal. Each technician that came to our home was clean, professional and very knowledgeable. They were so helpful and very compassionate throughout the entire ordeal.I happened to be in the midst of a career transition at the time of my water loss. I met and was very impressed with the integrity of the owner - we had many conversations about my situation, which has led to - as they say - everything happens for a reason - I am the Director of Marketing for this great organization.I highly recommended Rainbow before by my personal experience and the work they performed for me as a homeowner. And now that I am "behind the scenes", I can honestly say there isn't a better restoration company in Columbia.

After returning to our business from a holiday to extreme water damage we contacted multiple restoration companies, and thankfully Rainbow International was the first to reply! The owner, Reed was very involved throughout the process and to me that speaks volumes! The project managers and crew were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They worked around our schedule so we could continue with business, kept us informed of what we could expect during the restoration process, and also have checked in periodically to ensure our satisfaction. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of restoration services without hesitation!

After my pipe busted my plumber referred me to another company that took days to give me a quote and then quoted me $600+. I decided to file an insurance claim and my insurance referred me to Rainbow International. They called right away and scheduled an inspection. During the extremely cold winter of 2018, we had some frozen and burst water pipes on January 5th in our attic plumbing in our patio home. From a referral, I called Rainbow International of Columbia for the water mitigation and restoration project.The owner of the company, Mr. Reed Mattingly and his crew were at our home immediately assessing the damage and beginning the drying out process. Not only Reed, but all of his employees were so professional, caring, excellent at explaining the process, and very careful in the relocation of all personal property that was necessary. We could not have been more pleased with Mr. Jeff Band, the project manager and his honesty, integrity and leadership skills that were demonstrated on the job.Unfortunately we experienced a couple of other breaks during the wet insulation removal process; but these were handled expeditiously also. During the approximately 8 days of getting all affected ceilings and walls dried out, the communication from Jeff was outstanding. Fortunately , my wife and I only had to be out of the home for one night during this entire process.We also used Rainbow for the repair work that was needed, but due to the tremendous overload of required work during this time of the extreme weather and related calls, this took a little longer than expected. Kenny May, the Project Manager persisted and we were satisfied with the results once finished.I must also say how responsive Amy in the administrative office was during our entire ordeal. Her compassion and understanding was very refreshing as we were experiencing this very bad situation.All total, I believe that Reed, the franchise owner, was on site with us no less than (3) times and also responded to each and every one of my phone calls to him on the first call. To me that is "kudos" for customer service.Rest assured, if we ever need any more related services (hopefully no time soon!!) Rainbow International of Columbia and Mr. Reed Mattingly will be our first call. Thanks again Reed and to all of your employees !!!

We live at Lake Wateree and recently had high water that came into our home. Rainbow Restoration responded immediately and did a great job. They checked for areas of moisture and removed areas that required drying. Due to Rainbow's quick response and follow-up, the situation actually turned out to be a good experience. Our insurance company referred us to Rainbow International when our condo was flooded due to the neighboring unit. Within a few hours of our initial contact, Mike (and I hate I forgot the other gentleman's name) were the first on the scene and ready to get to work. Even though it was after business hours, they never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Rainbow had someone come in the next and pack up all of the belongings that needed to be moved so they could get work on drying the unit out which was a complete surprise to me because I didn't realize a company would offer to do that. Anytime I called their office, the staff was always very friendly and helpful wanting to make sure my needs were taken care of. Blackwell with Rainbow International would contact every time there was an update or if I ever had any questions, he was always available. I thought this situation was going to be a nightmare but Rainbow International has been there every step of the way to make process easier for us and I would highly recommend everyone to use their services. There is nothing more they could have done to make me feel more at ease and because of this, we are going to use them to handle all of the repairs in our unit. PERFECT SERVICE!!!

I came home recently from work and stepped into water at my door. A fitting on the toilet tank had broken and water was throughout bottom floor of house. I called Rainbow and talked to Chris and he sent Joe Silbaugh out to see about the situation.It ended up being a major disaster with the whole first floor damaged....needless to say it was very overwhelming seeing your home in this chaos.Joe and his crew worked hard to get everything dry... all crew members were so polite & friendly! Joe listened to all questions, concerns and kept me calm during times that I didn't know if I was going to get through this ordeal. But I made it through the demo and now will be onto repairs with Kenny!Thank you all at Rainbow...Chris & Melissa, and all the guys on the crew for what you did to help me get through this toughest part of the project and especially Joe for his support, compassion & telling me that it would be ok!Although my house still has a long way to go....I'm seeing a glimmer of light at the end of tunnel.

Because of a very small water leak in the wall behind our Master Bath Vanity' that we didn't know about, we discovered a strange odor that we investigated. Pulling out one of the large drawers showed us that we had MOLD... We contacted our plumber, Cottrell Plumbing, and they suggested that we contact Rainbow International. They came out to inspect our problem and they got to work right away. Although the mold area wasn't very big, they made sure that they enclosed the proper areas (master bath & walkin closet) dryed it completly. The whole procedure, from start to finish, lasted about 2 months. Thank goodness that we had proper insurance an all we had to pay "out of pocket" was our deductable. I can't say enough about the folks at Rainbow. They have done any and everything that we could have asked for. I highly reccomend their service....

Not only did they knock off a tile that wasn't part of the project but they didn't tell me about it or leave it. So now I have to pay a fortune to remodel a different area that wasn't part of the plan. And they took weeks to inform me I was just out of luck because the insurance company paid to cover this area in case they knocked anything off the wall while doing the floor.In addition they sent me a bill to pay although the insurance company pays them, laziness or trying to get paid twice?

Let me just say I never realized what a pain is to clean fire smoke!!! Hands down to their staff! My experience with them was absolutely amazing Ms. Cherry and Ms. Hope couldn't have done better. Ceiling to floors and all in between spot clean, even my grandkids toys that were in the livingroom, plants and glass area in sunroom, well everything. It was a pleasure to see their work. Thank you, thank you God for a company of professionals like these. Than you #rainbowrestorationofcolumbia!
