I am writing this review for Renewal by Anderson. I had two 40 year old 8 ft sliding doors replaced at my home this week. Victor Kurich did the installation and he far exceeded my expectations. I watched him install both doors and was amazed at how much work went into this installation. The new doors are beautiful and I can open with one finger. Amazing. The entire process from original consultation, to measurements to installation and follow up was first rate. I recommend them highly - we live in Seneca SC. The total cost was on the high side but when you consider its a cradle to grave process - its well worth it. I would do it the same way all over again. Extremely professional group to deal with and Victor is a master craftsman.

I will be calling a supervisor in the morning! The windows we had were great but it’s an old house and insulation sucks. They told us the window seals would still be there. They aren’t and all the windows to the blind eye are so crooked and then just to make sure of that I used a lever which by the way they never used and they are way way off. Not to mention the total cost is 70,000 and the team is short no one talks to you and I am outraged my grandparents loved there house before these people came in a ruined it they either fox it or I’m suing!!!

Ivan and helper were prompt and showed great professionalism in the installation of our back patio door.Renewal by Andersen people were very good in keeping me updated on the arrival of our door. …Very pleased by these processes. Haven’t heard by from salesperson!! … a lot of promised gift cards and a referral gift card. …Hope they are in the mail. (If the installation crew can recent my final payment they should be trusted with delivery of gift cards. 🤔

The salesman came and showed us different options. He wasn't pushy he helped find the best windows that will replace the old ones. The installers are very professional, courteous and they have the experience to do the job. I will recommend them anytime someone is looking for windows.

If there were less than one star, I'd give it. My husband called to get an appointment to replace our French doors with sliding glass doors. After the hold message about the privacy policy (or lack of it), my husband explained that all we were interested in was that single door and nothing else. We wanted no replacement windows and no other doors. Despite this limitation, the agent proceeded to ask questions about our house that included the number of windows and doors, whether the house was a rental, whether it was under renovation, and other questions that were irrelevant to what we were asking for. When my husband said he wouldn't answer these irrelevant questions, the representative told him we couldn't schedule an appointment and said goodbye. Two hours later, we were at ACE Hardware where we ran into another representative from Renewal by Andersen. To make a long story short, she said that should never have happened. She filled out paper work, set up a phone call, and had a man, Joel, call us later to set up an appointment. When the woman representative called to schedule it, she had the same set of questions that we wouldn't answer previously. No answers to questions that are really none of your business based on our needs. Bottom line: Andersen won't get our business. They want to both sell you more than you request and then peddle your information.

We are vey pleased with our Windows and Sliding Glass door that was installed by Ivan Gergi and the other trained technician that was with him here. It was amazing that the 2 guys removed our old windows and installed all 14 in one day. Came back the next day, installed our sliding door and did some final things. Great working menWe would recommend Renewal by Andersen to everyone

Team of brothers showed up on time and ready to work. The installation proceeded smoothly, the only problem was caused by me sticking my finger into the bond while testing the window after install completed. Thankfully the team was right there and repaired at no cost to me. Thoroughly pleased with the work done!!

Renewal by Andersen of the Carolinas installed 2 windows and French doors in my home in July 2022. I had great difficulty with the French doors, it was very difficult to lock/unlock them. In addition, a part that holds in the screen doors was missing. It was a narrow strip, that’s all. We had to wait 1 (one) year and 6 (six) months for them to send someone to adjust the doors so they can be locked and unlocked, and for that narrow strip so that the screen doors could be installed.The workers who came were nice, polite and professional.Customer service on the phone is absolutely useless. They do not return phone calls. When I said to them it has been 6 months, a year, a year and a half, all they would say is: yeah, it has been a little while. I would get a text periodically saying: we are working hard to resolve your problem. 1 and 1/2 years of waiting…, seeing their commercials, promising that if something isn’t right they will make it right immediately.My alarm company would not add those doors to my system once they realized the doors were difficult to lock or unlock. Because of Renewal by Andersen I had 2 unsecured doors for 1 and 1/2 years.They offered no discount for my aggravation and my inconvenience.They did send a survey request. They made it clear that the survey was for the workers only, not for rating the company. Again, the workers were wonderful and did the best they could with what they had.I had to give 1 star in order to be able to post this comment.I would definitely not recommend this company.

Renewal by Andersen (RbA) has been a very professional and pleasure to work with company. Our project went very, very well. From day one to the last day... scoping (April), measurement (Jonathan) and installation (Jacob and Caleb), professional at every turn. RbA worked with us to get the look and feel and we never felt RbA tried to hurry decisions and timelines. Our project scope included almost every window and door including several special window designs that aimed at bringing together a consistent contemporary look and feel. Project also included replacing a large garage window with a metal door. We are very pleased with RbA and will definitely consider them for future projects.

Started out great in sales process, but it ended there. We're told they could stain to match interior of our cabin. Send 2nd rate painter out who stained with the wrong color. It had been over a year and we still get blown off by the office and nothing had been done. Also, the door handle on one door continues to come off. Not what we expected with paying the premium for a us made product. Hopefully some manager or owner reads this and rectifies a botched 20k door install.

Salesman stated that our retractable screen door would be put back on once the door replacement was completed. Took awhile as they kept cancelling appointments before the new door was installed, however, the screen was never put back up. Spoke with customer service and finance departments and both times was told the sales rep took care of it...ahhh NOPE!! False promises make for bad business practices. Financing was to start when the job was completed. It has NEVER been completed!!

THESE WINDOWS ARE NOT AND WILL NOT BE INSTALLED IN MY HOUSE. PLEASE READ FOR HOW MY INITAL CONSULTATION WENT.Once the measurements were done. The salesman started off by telling me it was going to be about $25,000 to replace my windows.I told him that I could not afford that. And I didn’t want to waste anymore of his time. Because I wasn’t going to go through with it.He then tells me to let him finish his sales part and he would be able to get the price down. Because the company is all about helping people and that they care about their customers.At the end of it all he was up to $31,000. To replace 10 windows. He then was able to get it down to $25,000 and he was acting like he was saving me a lot of money. I again tell him I cannot afford $25,000 for windows. He then goes down to $20,000.They tell you the price is good for a year. He told me this price wouldn’t be good and I would have to sign today to get that price. He told me his favorite thing to do is to use other peoples money..? I’m sorry who’s money do you suggest I use?Very aggressive sales tactics and very demeaning. Told me if I went with vinyl I was going to have to replace all my vinyl windows within three years.He kept bashing other window companies. And was talking about their limited warranty. Yet they have a limited as well.

The man with construction said we did not need a new header. When the installers came they said we did. It cost me $4200.00 more dollars that I really did not have.We had to wait on the screen and stop lockand I had to call them, they did not reach out to me.Young man, sorry I can not remember his name came and installed them today 8-10-22 was very professional and helpful. He checked on the lock for the screen and told me it was ordered and should be here in a week and could install from outside.Would be nice if the salesman or someone within the company would do a courtesy callService: General door installation

Installers did such a poor job on caulking. Called customer service and their response was great. But they sent same crew back out to fill gaps and voids. Was suppose to have a representative from customer service here. They never showed. 4 windows inside caulking was a total disaster. Salesman never followed up after install either.
