I went to Pendarvis on Saturday "just to look" at a 2021 Chevy Silverado. I called before making the trip to make sure it was there and spoke to John. From the initial phone call and even after the sale, I felt like family. No one was pushy and no one tried to sell me anything I didn't want. John rode with me on my test drive (my choice) and we talked like old friends. I spoke with Richie in finance and he was so helpful! I purchased the truck that day because it was truly such a pleasant experience (and I fell in love quickly with the truck). Even though the experience I had on Saturday should be the norm, unfortunately, it isn't. If you're sick of how potential buyers are typically treated at dealerships, give Pendarvis a visit! They made the buying process FUN! The HUGE plus for me were no extra dealer fees (except tax and title fees, of course), no extra push for fancy wax jobs and add ons I didn't want or need and although an extended warranty was offered, no one was pushy when I declined.After a horrible shopping experience last year purchasing a different vehicle, Pendarvis has restored my faith that good values and kindness are still alive and well in the world of car shopping and I appreciate it very much!Thank you Pendarvis for making my "Trail Boss" dream come true and thank you for being so kind and helpful throughout the entire process! I'm already looking forward to purchasing my next one!!Hubby and my furbaby Jake are just as excited about the new ride! 😀

Today, I went into the service department to attempt to schedule an appointment to have my vehicle serviced. I was never acknowledged by the male at the desk and overheard him using profanity while talking with another customer. The whole vibe made me feel as if people of color or women are not welcomed here.

First of all, none of us are perfect so I rarely give a "full" star rating. That being said, 4 stars means Pendarvis Chevrolet is great from my perspective in the experiences I've had with them. Not to get into the details but I ended up at Pendarvis after an absolutely horrible and disrespectful experience with the Cheverolet dealership in my hometown. I still have things that need to be checked on my car that I had tried to get taken care of with my local dealer without success. The experience was so bad and service so poor that Chevrolet contacted me directly. Anyway, I decided to take my care to Pendarvis Chevrolet for the main issue and they had my car ready within a few weeks whereas the process had dragged on with my local dealership over 6 months total.Pendarvis Chevrolet was sympathetic to what I had experienced and reassured me that basically I was in a "safe space" Lol. They were very communicative about what was going on with my car and how the process would progress. They gave me a rental (which my local dealership did not, even when they kept my car for months at a time). Pendarvis also has an automated system that updates while your car is there letting you know when parts are ordered, expected and received, and other information.On top of that, I have to tell you HUNTER always took great care of us. He would call with updates, ask questions to understand more about what had been going on with my car and my experience with my local dealership. This helped him understand my frustration and hesitation. He answers any questions I have and if he doesn't know, he tries to find out. He is such a nice person and I am always happy to see him when I come in.After the amazing service from Hunter and Pendarvis, I decided they were my new dealership and well worth the drive to go there. It's actually time for my next "mileage" service and I will be going to Pendarvis. It is so much like night and day between them and my local dealership that I can't even effectively put it into words for you to understand.THANK YOU HUNTER!THANK YOU PENDARVIS!SEE YOU SOON!

Was 5 Stars! Updated11/29/21 Very disappointed with how things happened with purchasing my extended warranty. Authorized for payment and nothing!! When I inquired about it months later, the lady had an attitude with me! Lack of communication and lack of remorse has me second guessing them. You trust people to make things right when dealing with your money. Clearly not the case with Angel. So unprofessional. I hope I am mistaken, but it could be a racist thing. One bad apple does affect the whole tree. After it was all said and done, not even an apology from Mr. Chapman, nor Angel. Very sad!! Nevertheless I can't take away from the buying experience, which is 5 stars!!My original post- Amazing dealership!!! The salesperson (Clint Chapman) who helped up was on top of everything. Unless like other car lots, he catered to my wants and needs. I will not shop anywhere else!

Just purchased a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 6.2L V8 4wd from salesman Mr John Kemp. I bought running boards, and all weather rubber floor mats to be installed. They were able to do the truck rather quickly, and overall am very happy with the whole experience dealing with the Pendarvis Chevrolet dealership. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled an appointment for a four wheel alignment for my older car, a 2006 Saturn Vue (front end previously aligned already, but not the rear due to a specific missing part that no other dealerships in the area could find/fix). However I finally did get the correct part(s) ordered for my car and the rear end fixed and aligned properly (complete four wheel alignment) at PENDARVIS Chevrolet. Their service/parts department went above and beyond for me. I am happy to report my car is now in full alignment and driving well!! Obviously my loyalty and business now belongs to PENDARVIS CHEVROLET as their entire service team went above and beyond for me and my older car.. proving they want me driving safely and also want my future business. They will get it!!!

I was very disappointed with my visit. My 2014 Chevrolet Silverado's fan was running continously. The technician said it was the thermostat. However, the service manager said they did not have the part in stock and could not get one. He said if I could get one they could put it on. Before I left the waiting room, I check on Amazon and the part was available for $36. It could be to my house next week. On the way home I stopped at the Auto Zone in Aiken and they could get the part the next day. So why couldn't the Service Department do the same and get the part and schedule a time to fix my truck. Again very disappointing.

Extremely disappointed… my biggest regret is not having a mechanic check out the car before I bought it. Turned out to be an absolute lemon of a vehicle. A few weeks after purchasing my 2018 ford escape, I was back at the dealership to have all new brake pads and rotors put on my car, which costed a small fortune. Even their mechanic told me I shouldn’t have been able to drive it off the lot in the condition it was in. Now, a few months later, my car is having to have the transmission rebuilt, which is costing a HUGE fortune. Anyway, this sucked all the joy out of buying my first car, as well as sucking my bank account dry. They also lost the keys which had me in the waiting area for over an hour before test driving while they searched around for it. Should have walked out then. Wouldn’t do business with Pendarvis again.

If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, go see Pendarvis Chevy. My experience with them the past week was by far the most pleasant with a dealership. No pressure sales, test drive on your own, address your concerns and resolve them. I left there with my new truck and didn’t feel like I had completed an emotional marathon. Met Richard and Bailey Pendarvis and they were very nice. Go see John Kemp and Mike Tisdale. They are extremely helpful. Angel in Finance was great too. They make you feel right at home. Can’t say enough good things. Pendarvis Chevy is an A+ dealership! Not to mention no dock, dealer or scarcity fees…in this market! Amazing!

Contacted the dealer on multiple occasions about a 2009 Corvette Z51 they had listed. Online chat said someone would call me, never got a call. I called in a few times, was told sales reps were not available and they would take a message and I would get a call back.. once again never got a call back. Even tried sending an email in to get a call back. After two weeks of trying I see the vehicle has sold, probably to someone who doesn't have an ethnic last name. I can see no reason why they would flat out refuse to respond otherwise. Before a response is posted saying I should have just came in for a test drive, I wanted a few questions answered first before I made the long drive down. Not going to waste an entire day just because they refuse to communicate.

A great experience. In my quest to purchase a 2022 pickup truck, I have dealt with approximately eight dealerships, to include Toyota, Ford and Chevy. The poor customer service was mind boggling to say the least. At the end of my search I found and dealt with Pendarvis Chevrolet. The experience was awesome from start to finish! Great customer service! I now proudly park a Chevy in my driveway and not a Tundra!

John was great to work with! Even though we may have initially been a bit indecisive, he did not pressure us into moving forward. Having purchased several new cars in Atlanta we have experienced the stress of high-pressure dealerships. The small town atmosphere of Pendarvis was such a nice contrast. We are very familiar with EV's but we were unfamiliar with the Bolt EUV, so we needed some time to do research before purchasing. Once we decided to buy the process was easy and seamless. So far we love the car and will definitely consider Pendarvis for our next purchase.

This is THE BEST dealership I’ve ever been too! John Kemp is such a great salesman that really and truly cares about his customer’s satisfaction. Mr. Pendarvis was there as well on a Saturday and personally thanked us for our purchase. No doc fees or dealer fees which I have never seen before! They aren’t out to rip people off. All vehicles are priced fairly. Also, the guys in service are wonderful as well. They are always willing to see you as soon as possible and answer any questions you may have. Great dealership!
