Great customer service. Our representative Justin has been so very helpful even coming out last minute after doing appointments all day to tarp off the roof that they were going to work on in the future to make sure our damage doesn't get any worse.They're working with the insurance company on our behalf to take all the headaches out of our roof replacement that was damaged in a storm. Great company. I would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience! They called me so I said sure come on out. The day of the meet they called and rescheduled, was not happy since it was my day off but fine things happen. Took Monday off to meet them, and of course they called 47 minutes before the visit and canceled. I explained I took the day off just for this and he did not give two craps! No empathy, no professionalism, and I told him you have earned one heck of a review. He apologized and blamed it on some scheduling system, yada yada. It was everyone’s fault but his own. Folks I have been a construction for many years and let me tell you one thing…. If they can’t even get the quote right, how are the going to get the roof right? When will they start, when will they finish? Don’t trust this company! How they start so shows how they will finish. Unforgivable!!! My choice is Hayes Roofing lots of extras! Super great people! Absolutely wonderful. I was contacted by a wonderful gentleman named Lee Clarke. He took the time to listen and fully understand my concerns and wishes. Lee, made me feel valuable and not just another client or number. The response time was faster than anything I had imagined, from the inspection conducted by Lee, the meet on site with insurance agent, the approval from insurance agent, demo, and finally install. Just a very professional and efficient experience. Nothing was damaged during the process and the roofers took time to carefully cover the grounds below the roof to ensure all material ended up in their tarps; not my flower beds or yard. Exterior Genie was extremely helpful dealing with my insurance company when the insurance company's adjuster understated my roof damage claim after a tropical storm. With Exterior Genie's expertise and certifications, they were able to demonstrate to the insurance company that my roof could not be 'spot' repaired and needed to be replaced. The crew that did the roofing was professional and courteous, and the finished project looks great! They also repaired a few areas of siding that had come loose during the storm, and those areas look great as well.

Edit: After seeing this report the company decided to charge me 2.5x the original asking price. However they still did nothing. Proof in the pics.I asked this company to do an inspection. My last contactor dropped the ball on my install. The gentleman I spoke with committed to a time, then never showed up and would not return my texts. I would have paid them for their time and had a check waiting already made out. I feel like to just ghost a customer and lie is a true insight in how they do business. I would have been fine to say, "no we are busy."

Well we had a windstorm come through Columbia and it ripped the siding off of the side of my house and damaged my roof. The entire repair process took probably 2-3 months while the stuff was fixed after they fixed it a pallet of product was left at my house killing my grass in that spot for about another month. Throughout the process I tried calling multiple times to make contact via either Evans direct number or the "Stores" number. All I get is voice mail and no one returns calls. This is an issue because as a customer you expect communication during the process. Not having to harass and call the people for info every step of the way.The workers who came out that I had the chance to talk to were helpful and seemed nice though. When they replaced the siding they changed the direction the pieces were put together instead of the seam going from back to front it now goes front to back which should assist in this from happening in the future. The quality of work I was able to see and check appears to be good. I can not access my roof top so I have no idea what it looks like but it's not leaking and all the shingles appear to still be there after a few pretty bad windstorms.I would avoid this place at all costs if you desire to have any type of contact or feed back from this place. They never even sent someone back out to ensure their workers performed their job correctly and did proper repairs. No contact and no follow up from this place.

I just want to say how awesome the experience was. Very dependable and my roof looks fabulous! Dustin Wooten guided me every step of the way and answered all of my questions honestly and completely. No more leaks!!! When it rains, it no longer pours into my foyer and living room. Makes my whole exterior look so much better! Installation was a breeze-thought it would take a long time. Salesman came out because I requested a quote. Informed him that I had 3 companies lined up to come look. Refused to ballpark a price, gave some nonsensical reasoning of checking satellite imaging and emailing quotes. Took off and never heard back. Must have decided competitive pricing was an issue or the job wasn’t worth his time. If you don’t want to compete with other companies and your only goal is to give the typical seedy salesman presentation to lock in your leads just say that. Contact these guys if you have no idea about your project and are really hoping to get taken advantage of with scripted telemarketer type rubbish. On the plus side, the guy seemed like a nice dude, I guess.

I called Exterior Genie because I had a leak or two. After a complete roof inspection, it was determined that the leaks were due to hail and wind damage. Mike Baker is great! He answered our call about a roof leak immediately and came by the house shortly afterwards. We have a metal roof, and Mike suggested that we try to resolve the leak problem using FlexSeal for a couple of hundred dollars versus a large project. It’s rained a few times since we did this, and everything going well! So thankful we reached out to him! We’ll be looking into a covered patio at my house as well as a good friend’s, and will be checking with Exterior Genie first.

We looked through HomeAdvisor for someone to work on our roof. We found this company and since it was local and they had good reviews we decided to go with them. They came quickly to see what they could do. They said they would work with our insurance. They came when the adjuster came from the insurance. So far so good. Now we get a quote and some insurance money. They said ok and asked for 30%. That has been over two months. They are hard to each, won't return calls and today is raining and there is more damage to our roof. Very disappointed and it looks like we are going to have to start over with less money😡
