I've had my deck redone previously by this company and they did such a great job that I also had 2 bathrooms remodeled with them (and am going to start our master shortly). I am so thrilled with the finished project! The planning process was surprisingly smooth and everything happened in the timeframe they said it would. Most importantly the workmanship is high quality. We are picky and there was nothing that we needed to call out on this project. The tile work is beautiful and it's such a massive improvement over our old bathroom. After getting recommendations, meeting with contractors and comparing fees and services, I chose The Improvement Company for my home renovation. I’m almost 80 and planning to continue aging in place in my own home. My plan was to join two bedrooms and have an arch doorway between the bedrooms. They made that happen and also built a wall within the second bedroom to create a bathroom with a walk-in shower with safety concerns in mind. They did all the plumbing, electrical and tile work in the bath that I had planned using ADA recommendations. They also raised the floor in the laundry room to make it level with the kitchen floor, thus removing accidents waiting to happening.My experience with the Improvement Company was pleasant, and the project outcome exceeded my expectations. The two highly skilled pros who worked in my home each day clearly knew what they were doing. Blayne and Yerber were considerate of my needs, respectful of my space, and cleaned up before leaving each day. Their can-do attitudes were consistently positive and their cheerfulness was contagious. We have used this company multiple times for both our bathroom remodels. The first remodel was just a new tub and counter la which came out great. Our master bath was a complete fit where we installed a new 5 foot shower. The craftsmanship turned out amazing and the company was very helpful in creating every aspect we wanted it to be. We had a 19'x18' sun room added to our house. The people that they had do the work did excellent work. Dan, Travis and Ryan were the ones we dealt with the most and they were great, they had great customer service and very willing to please us. If we ever need anything else done we will definitely call The Improvement Company.

I needed my backdoor replaced because I accidentally shot a rock into it with the weed wacker. (Thankfully it was double paned and I only broke the exterior pane.) The Improvement company came out and gave me a fair estimate.They ordered the door and arranged the install. They came out a second time so the individual that was going to do the actual install could get a look at the job.They arrived on time the day of the install. Once the door was mostly installed, we realized the door was defective. They went out and bought a new door and installed it the next day. The finished job looks great and my door works like it should.Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.Just be aware that you need to plan ahead. They are booked solid. Between waiting for the door to be available for purchase and the company being able to fit me in the schedule, I did have to wait about 3 months for the install. They were worth the wait though.

We called for a consult on an addition to our home and for a new roof and other improvements. Dan the owner was very prompt in arriving for this appointment ..to the minute...and did not appear rushed at all. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the information we needed and was very personable. We felt like we had known him for years and can’t wait to get started on our projects. We researched and did our homework and my Husband and I are very pleased with this company and feel sure we will be very happy with the work. I have had a home built while still single and had improvements done on my Mothers home after her death before selling her home so am fully aware of this process. You need to have a great relationship with your contractor and we feel confident we certainly have that. We highly recommend this company. We are very pleased with the quality of the addition done on our home by Dan and his workers - The Improvement Company. Communication was excellent and we were updated daily on what was to be done next. Dan was onsite often checking the work and available at all times for questions. They knew we had 2 foster children and needed another bedroom so worked us in to a very busy schedule and helped get the addition done very quickly. All of the workers were friendly, on time, very reliable and knowledgeable. *BAD experience!* 3 hours late for a scheduled appointment! Not even a simple phone call from them to advise that they were running late. Two very unprofessional-looking young guys eventually rolled up to the front door 3 hours late with no manners, no apologies, only a bunch of lame ignorant excuses. One of them said: "This ain't on us. It's our manager's fault." The owner of The Improvement Company ought to do some IMPROVEMENT of his own and discharge the jokers he has currently representing him; they are giving The Improvement Company a really *BAD* reputation.The Improvement Company Lexington Columbia SC = FAIL
