Excellent quality, South Carolina contractor state test preparation class. Multiple licenses available. The best part about this was knocking all of it out in a two day time. Versus dragging a test prep class week after week. Do not buy books anywhere else! These books come pre-highlighted, and very competitively priced. They also come with the tabs that you put on yourself, but they are pre-printed, which saves so much hassle. Very friendly staff, and they make sure that you will have access to them after the class so that you can be prepared to be confident.

I've taken GC, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Boilers prep courses. Passed 1st time for each of them and was relatively stress free during each of my exams. Bill/Team is simply amazing. I have read the negative reviews, and I can say that from sitting in multiple courses, there has always been one or two folks that it just didn't click with. Be prepared to challenge your thought but keep an open mind and listen.

There are 2 ONE star reviews for Contractor seminars. The first by James McAden, please read his review before ordering classes. It’s 100% true. My experience was the exact same. Not worth the money. If you order books through there website be prepared for them not to have all of them upon arrival. So you’ll miss out completely on the books they are missing.Bill was rude and didn’t seem to care if he had everything you ordered or not. The books do not come pretabbed, no matter what previous reviews say. They read through the crucial areas he believes will be on the test and then after day two he gives you the option to buy tabs, prints them out as you’re leaving, gives some for free to some people, and charges others full price in front of everyone.

Mr. Mullinax and Mr. Ramsey helped me pass my electrical contractors exam. There are both very wise. The study guide is worth the money. Thanks again.

I currently attended the 2 day class at Contractors Seminars. This was very informative and definitely gave me all of the tools necessary to pass the GC licensing test the first go around. They offer books with tabs for easy flipping during the test. They also highlight the main points in each section, which saved me a lot of time. Bill gets you mentally ready to take an exam that PSI designed to make most people fail. I would recommend Contractor Seminars to anyone interested in becoming licensed in general contracting!!! Definitely worth the money!!

In addition to getting 2 full days of prep for the test, they also offer all the books you need to prepare for the exam. The exam is open book and if you buy the books from them they are pre-highlighted and many have tabs too for quick reference. The handout materials include numerous practice questions and "homework" that will have you prepared for anything you'll face on the exam. One of the unexpected bonuses of the class was getting "test taking" strategies and insight from the instructor that helped know what to expect and how to take the computer-based exam strategically. Well worth the money and time I spent on this course. I passed the NASCLA business and law exam and the unlimited general contractor exams on the first attempt.

Don't waste your money here. The instructor's test prep material is full of mistakes and errors making it not very useful as a study tool. Rather than answer students' question or provide insight into test structure and content, the instructor seems more content to:1) Answer questions with questions2) Tell you how PSI is out to get you3) Read arbitrary passages directly out of the reference books4) Tell stories about former students5) Speak broadly about the test in nonsensical maxims. The class also started about 30 minutes late on both days. On the first day, the instructor spent roughly two hours discussing material that is directly available at no cost through PSI.Additionally, there was no stated outline, agenda, or plan for covering the information. The class jumped around in an erratic fashion and could have greatly benefitted from some planning in order to maximize the two days.In summary, the class offers not much in the way of substance or structure. You're better off saving yourself some money and a trip to Ridgefield by studying the material on your own.

I disagree with the previous negative review. Contractor Seminars provides very helpful information. A lot a classes that you attend will end early or start late. Not this one. This class was two full days jammed packed with information. You get your money's worth and more.

I attended the Air Conditioning seminar and passed the exam on my first try. I feel the seminar was well structured and properly prepared me for the exam.
