I had a very positive experience working with Christian while looking at roofing and gutter options. He was knowledgeable and thorough when explaining all the products. We had looked at a few different companies but we decided that Hansons was the best value overall. Will post update after roof and gutters are installed!UPDATE 4/20/2024After 29 years, our beautiful home needed a facelift! We got a few bids and decided to go with Hansons. The sales rep suggested we go with the black deluxe roof and black gutters and wow my husband and I absolutely love how it turned out. We were very impressed with quality of work and service of the crew. The operations manager stopped by a handful of times over the three day install. The sales rep that helped us also stopped by to check on the progress. Even the roofers and gutter installers were quite friendly and answered all of our questions. I don’t know if this is common amongst these types of companies, but I was pleased with the attention. After the gutter crew and roofing crew were done, they cleaned up the front and backyards meticulously. Overall very happy with our decision to use Hansons. Picture speaks for themselves!

I just had my lower level windows installed and I am very impressed—certainly a higher quality craftsmanship than whomever replaced our upper floor windows. I would highly recommend 1800 Hansons as the price was reasonable and the craftsmanship reflected meticulous detail and pride.

Had 9 windows and a patio door installed. Sales rep quoted 1 day install that ended up taking 3, did not address the window sills at the time of the sales pitch and was extremely hard to get in touch with after the fact. I never heard from the project coordinator until after the lone installer had been working for a few hours. Each window had terrible siding blemishes when completed. Submitted photos of the issues with no response for close to a week. The solution presented was to match a 20+ year old paint color and will take two weeks before completed.*Update - was contacted by the GM of the Sioux Falls office, was told the installer used the wrong wrap which created the issue and that they would get a crew out to fix it properly and it wouldn't take weeks. After waiting a week not hearing anything I reached out and he said he was out of office and would get ahold of me soon. Waited a few more days without hearing anything and had to reach out again. The office manager finally reached out to get me on the schedule to have it fixed and the wait period is 3 weeks. Awful customer service and perceived lack of caring. Now just hoping and wishing they actually do what they say they will as I have no confidence this will be resolved correctly as they have given me no reason to trust them. Really hope I never need a window replaced as I can't imagine the nightmare i will have with that.

We had our house re-sided by Hanson Siding in late January. We were very impressed with the promptness in getting a bid to us and the explanation given for the materials recommended and the total cost.The crew that completed the re-siding work were efficient, courteous and competent from start to finish. They answered any questions we had and went above and beyond to complete the project in a timely manner. They did excellent work andwe were very pleased with the results of our home project!

Hard to get a response when warranty work is needed. You get a lifetime warranty with siding but it's been almost a month since I first reached out and still can not seem to get anyone to call me back. Update they promised to get it fixed shortly after this review but then made more excuses and now we are getting the runaround again. 11/2/23 update.....We've been for what seems like 2 years to have our siding fixed. They say they are waiting for materials. Give me a break. 1/8/24 update....We finally were contacted by our local Hanson's office and they came out and took a look and got our issue resolved within a few weeks. Justin and a few others who reached out were very professional and wanted to resolve out issue as quickly as possible. Thanks to them our siding is looking good again.

Hansons home improvement professional personal, christian, is very knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic quote on windows that we would like to get replaced. It is in our monthly budget, and adjustable with how we want to pay more if wanted. I love that we can have them come back another time if we would like to get more windows, siding, roofing, or gutters updated as well.

Had a great experience with Alex Mader inspecting my living room window in need of replacement. I was getting tired of waiting to hear back from other contractors that couldn't even set up an appt time with me. (If you cant get a company to even come out and quote you work to earn your business, how do you think they're going to hold up on after sale customer service?) I called Hansons and they were able to schedule on the phone an appt same day that worked great with my schedule. Alex was personable, efficient, and great at painting a picture of how the entire project will go start to finish. If you're doing any work on your house that falls under their specialty line of work i would highly recommend using this company. In an age of customer service seemingly dying out, it’s refreshing to see that this is a company that cares about their customers and is always going to be there for any future revisits and warranty work.

The actual windows themselves provided by Hansons look great and work great in terms of keeping heat out in hot and insulation during cold weather. However, in terms of communication they massively fall short. Getting a hold of anyone is near impossible. Workmanship is also very poor. They left an absolute mess in our house. There was sawdust all over the floor and they left screws everywhere. The worst part was that when we got home they claimed it wasn't them. They messed up a bunch of trim around the windows and then it took them 5 months to repair. They kept making promises of "we'll be out there next week" and it never happened. At one point the PM just stopped answering my calls. The work wasn't completed until November and the windows were installed in June. The "repaired" trim still has gaps and looks slightly worse than a DIY first timer. For the cost, I would not suggest Hansons at all.

We first talked to Alex, who introduced Hanson's products to us. After initially turning down the upgrade, we contacted him again and decided to go forward with it. He was patient with our many questions and calls, and always responded promptly to any concern. He's an asset to any project and does right by you.They installed our windows as soon as they were ready, and they are really good windows. They are insulated, slightly shaded, and top quality.When it was time to have our siding done, it was done by a team headed by JC Ahn. They had an amazing work ethic and were at our trailer with the sunrise and worked until around 6 pm both days. They were very attentive, asking questions as they went, and addressed any requested changes with a positive attitude and without delay. The end result is stunning on our old trailer. I've only included one "before" picture, as we didn't take many. It didn't look great. It does now!Due to the production slowdown during the Covid outbreak, the siding took a while to get to us, so don't despair if it takes longer than you expect. It's worth it. We are very pleased with Alex, JC Ahn and Hansons, and are looking forward to the gutter installation.(Edit: Please ignore the skirting, it's old and we're in the process of getting that replaced, too.)Service: Window installation
