We'd been putting off replacing our 31 year old roof for a few years because of the cost and the perceived stress it would involve. After finding roofing tiles in my flower beds, I finally began to interview several roofing contractors and it was such an easy decision. I could not possibly be more pleased about our experience with Brentwood Roofing. After being told by a different company that our roof would not be covered by insurance, we sought a second opinion. A family member put us in touch with David at Brentwood Roofing. David came out the next day, let us know that storm damage was present, and even helped to coordinate our conversations with the insurance company. David was there when the adjuster came out and worked to make sure we were taken care of. He had us scheduled for the install the next week, the crew showed up on time, worked quickly, and did a fantastic job. At the end of the day once the job was finished David even went around with a big magnet to make sure no nails were missed in the cleanup process. He left our driveway and back patio area looking cleaner than it was before the job even started. He looked over everything with us and made sure we were happy with the final product. David communicated with us every step of the way, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were always in the loop. I could not recommend Brentwood Roofing any more highly. Our experience with them was OUTSTANDING!

It’s too bad there aren’t 6 stars on this review platform as that is what Leonard and his team really deserve. After my roof took a hit from the intense spring storms in Nashville, I had to figure out how best to navigate the insurance and roof repair space. I knew, though, that Brentwood Roofing was the company for me when Leonard quickly put me at ease and helped me choose both the selections and timing that made sense for me and my home. He was extremely communicative leading up to my service and afterwards, and on service day, his team was prompt, clean and efficient. Repairs started early one morning and were finished by the end of that day, but if I hadn’t been there when they started, I would not have even known they were there as they cleaned their work meticulously. These guys should have their contractors license taken away. The tornado of 2020 caused extensive damage to our house and destroyed our roof. We contacted Brentwood Roofing and they sent a crew of people over that looked as if they were just out of High School. Leonard claimed that they were his best crew and they had "been with him for years". I tested that when I caught one of them drinking beer on his lunch break. I called Leonard and he came over and didn't even know anyone's name. Anyway, the whole installation was a disaster and I had to stand constant guard that they weren't taking short cuts. Well, here we are 3 years later and my roof has multiple leaks and is going to cost me thousands to repair the shoddy work that Leonard and his crew did.

This past March 3rd sustained straight line winds up to 90 mph caused shingles to peel off my roof. During the wind storm I called my insurance agent to start the claims process and asked him for any roofers he could recommend. Within a few hours I received a call from Leonard at Brentwood Roofing. Leonard came out to tarp the damaged areas, take pictures for insurance and then handled the claims process. The insurance adjuster came out a few days later to survey the damage. Within a few weeks I had a new roof. Excellent communication and superior workmanship. When they were done, they cleaned up after themselves. Truly this company is the real deal. Very rare anymore do you see the owner of the company out and working and grinding it with his employees. Leonard Taylor and David Jennings of Brentwood Roofing and Home improvement were both outstanding during the entire process. David was quick to point out my roof issues and Leonard confirmed the damage. The most impressive impact was the fact that my insurance company adjuster was stating that I only needed a dozen or so singles repaired. Leonard stated that I had widespread damage. And I was caught in the middle, despite the fact that every time the wind blew hard, more singles blew off my roof. Leonard helped in every way for a 4-month period of time, addressing my issues with the insurance company and making many phone calls on my behalf. He also gave me direction on what I needed to ask for that lead to a second inspection with another adjuster. With that said, the second adjuster approved the roof that day and I had my check to complete the roof the next day. Other roofers would have given up and walked away due to the insurance companies hoops that we were being required to jump through, but not Leonard and David. They both were 100% about the need for a new approved roof and hung in until we exhausted all my options. And for that I am deeply appreciative to both men. Once that occurred, the roof was started and completed in 2 1/2 days and looks beautiful. During the course of the removal and installation, there were a few mishaps with required repairs to one section of gutter and to a gas grill. Leonard brought these issues to my attention and stated he would take care of everything, which he absolutely did with a smile. Leonard could be the most polite and respectful man I have ever met, and the quality of work done was wonderful. We also had other things we needed to get done to the house. Pressure washing, painting, etc... Leonard contacted workers he respected, and these improvements are in the works. I feel very lucky that David stopped by my house to point out my roof damage. These two gentlemen are quality professional individuals, with expert working crews, and genuinely want each customer to be 100% satisfied and they truly strive for this perfection. Thus, why they are both hands on the project. Again, I cannot say enough great things about Brentwood Roofing. Even though my roof was installed over 3 years ago in July 2018, I wanted to give an update on their great customer service. Leonard originally took care of my insurance claim. My roof was installed when scheduled and looks very good. However, I recently noticed a leak over my master bedroom. Even though my roof was installed over 3 years ago, Leonard has been very instrumental in solving my problem. He determined that the leak was coming from my turtle vents, which they removed and replaced with a new ridge vent. Leonard is a very friendly and honest business man.
