I recently had Upon Grace install a wood deck at my home. Initially, communication was great and they started the work on time. Everything was progressing nicely. As the work was being finished, they asked for the final payment. I gave it to them because I had no reason to believe they would not finish on time. My mistake! It took them almost 2 weeks to return and concrete the posts in the ground. As for clean up after the job, they left construction waste on the deck and never sanded down the screw holes on the deck. I asked for this to be completed but no one ever came back. After a month, I just cleaned it up myself. The one piece of advice I would give would be to not make the final payment until the entire job is finished as per the contract states. That was my mistake and I own it. I hope this advice will help someone else to avoid the same issues. I am pleased with the deck and it is solid and we are enjoying the outdoor space. I will not be using Upon Grace for further projects around my home.Service: Deck installation

We had Upon Grace finish our basement into full living space with a bathroom and HVAC. It was a large project and Upon Grace did an incredible job! All their crew (shout out to Justin, Sam, Kenny, Delmus and Todd, etc) are absolute professionals who do impeccable work and communicate clearly at all times.The owners, Zac and Brittany are also fantastic. We hired Upon Grace to a ton of work. We have an old house, and we hired them to do wallpaper removal, plaster repair, a complete bathroom remodeling, bathroom ventilation rerouting, crown molding installation, floor repair in my old work shed, and a whole bunch of other "odds and ends" that significantly improved the livability of our home.Zac and Brittany are responsive, and we enjoyed having the site manager (Steve) and his crew around while they did the work. The best company we have ever used! We called several companies to try to get assistance changing my parents bathroom after a health issue to be accessible. We picked them because of their quick response time. On-site within 24 hours for an estimate and commenced work 24 hours later. Zach and his employees replaced all of my flooring, added a tile backsplash in my kitchen, painted the bedrooms and kitchen, and installed ceiling fans. My husband and I requested an estimate for a complete remodel on a home we’re looking at purchasing. It’s been almost two weeks since our walkthrough (which was initially rescheduled last minute because they “got caught up at another work site”) and we still do not have the estimate. I’ve called countless times and have continually been told that they will email me the estimate shortly (by end of day, by this afternoon, etc. - I’ve heard it all) and there’s been a delay due to [insert various reasons]. Now, no one is answering (good luck getting someone to answer the first time you call), or returning, my calls or texts. Perhaps the company is too busy. Regardless, it’s EXTREMELY unprofessional to not follow through and then “ghost” a potential client. I’ve been extremely kind and patient to no avail. I recommend they work on their project/time management and common courtesy skills. Perhaps I’ve dodged a bullet seeing as though they can’t even meet deadlines or communicate regarding an estimate…I can only imagine how they’d be while executing an entire remodel.

Had them come out to the house to get a quote. Days later I had not heard from them until I called and spoke with Brittany at the office. She kept putting me off saying I will call you back.....well....she never called back. I called from a different cell number and she answered my call. Not sure why but if the job was too big for them to handle, that's all she had to say. Instead, she chose to lie and never call me back.
