We purchased one of their buildings from a lot in Smithville, TN. It was a good experience and they were timely in delivering it. Unfortunately upon delivery they did run over some of our septic lines. My wife and I are thankful that they worked with us and were able to make the repairs. We appreciate there honesty and willingness to take care of us.

Pretty much a cookie cutter shed a little bit on the overpriced side, even though they have the capabilities to do custom work they do not want to be bothered with it. This tells me they are getting plenty of business and need no new customers

I can't speak for the rent to own program, but we called to see if they could build a 16x32 two story barn style cabin for our "tiny house" and Philip got us quoted and scheduled right away. It was not the cheapest quote we found & it was going to be a little longer wait then we expected, but after seeing the quality of work on their lot we decided it was worth the wait. While waiting for our scheduled on site build date, Philip contacted us and said they had an unexpected opening in their schedule and could start right away. They built our cabin in 10 DAYS flat! If you need something built on site these are the guys you want. They roll and they do not cut corners... top notch all the way! See pics. Thanks MBB. Great selection of patio furniture! We love our Adirondack Chairs! We weren't in the market for a barn building (yet), but if I were I would have definitely purchased from Mountain Barn, very high quality and the staff was very helpful.

I called them to move my shed, just on my property, and all went really smooth and good pricing. Thomas was the one that moved it. He was very pleasant, easy going, and got it done quick right where I wanted it. The people in the office on the phone are friendly and nice as well, I also purchased a new D handle and lock for my shed.

Jason went above and beyond to pickup and deliver our shed to our new location and went out of his way to make this happen on a Sunday. Very professional and with the right equipment for a very fast pickup and delivery to the very spot we wanted it. Will definitely use him again as we prepare for our barn, Garage and Camper Carport projects. Weekends were pricey but worth it, as we were having to move and we didn’t want to have to leave our new shed.Service: Shed moving

I had a shed in a bad location, and had three different companies come to move it. All 3 said it was impossible. I went to the Mountain Barn Builders location here in McMinnville, and they sent someone over, and he was able to move it exactly where I needed it.

I paid cash for my shed over two years ago and had it delivered and installed and that experience was good. We recommended them to our daughter and she financed her shed and delivery and installation was also good. She recently paid it off and is trying to get it moved because she and her husband are in the process of selling their house. She has gotten the run around now for a month and still hasn’t gotten it moved or even been put on a schedule for any future date. The local guy said he couldn’t do it for 3 weeks and when asked if he could schedule it after that, he said he didn’t schedule that far out. That is total BS and totally unacceptable customer service. So the message is loud and clear: once you pay your shed off, they are done with you. Obviously, all they are concerned with is your money. I will not use or recommend them again.November 3 update: They finally did get my daughter’s shed moved. Finally. It took what I feel like was an act of Congress but it’s done. We are pleased that it was the local guy and not a driver from Clarkrange so it didn’t cost extra for that. I can't speak highly enough! A friend highly recommended Jason and gave me his number at Mountain Barn Builders. I called Jason. I told him that I was moving my entire workshop with thousands of dollars in specialty paints over the weekend bc that was the only date the moving company had. I didn't even have time to go to my bank to get a loan. I'm a Decorative Artisan, extremely concerned my paints were going to freeze if I didn't get them in a building as soon as possible. He told me he had just what I need, a building with insulated floors and five thermal, double pane windows because I told him as an Artist, I needed extra natural light while working. He gave me 90 Days same as cash and delivered my building the same week, just before the freeze putting my building exactly where I wanted it and even trimmed a bush that was in the way!! The communication was perfect as well as the delivery and install. I LOVE my building and Jason is a Godsend! Bought my barn around 5 plus years ago with added upgrades & my trim started to warp & come apart. It took them a few months to come out but they finished replacing all the trim today. The two gentleman did a great job, leaving my trim looking great. The quality of the barn is excellent & is holding up great. Very pleased with their service, customer service & would recommend them. I purchased a 10 x 20 shed from Mountain Barn Builders. The cost was exactly as quoted. The shed is nice and sturdy. The delivery was prompt and the young man that delivered the shed even went beyond delivery. He cut a piece of stump down to prevent damage to the bottom of the shed placing it exactly where I wanted. Thank you for your outstanding service.

My husband and myself have bought a shed, barn, chicken coop and a swing set from Mountain Barn Builders. The shed and the barn were used the only difference between the two is the price. A friend is moving here from Florida next month and we will go to Mountain Barn Builders. If that doesn't say it all I don't know what will.

Will never buy from again. I have two sheds from them and needed one moved. I had called and made arrangements with Jason Vaughn to move one of them today June 25. This was after having to wait almost 3 weeks from the first time I called him. When he had not shown up or called by 4pm I texted him to see what was going on. He called me back at 5:30 and when I asked him if he was coming out today he said no and proceeded to yell and curse at me. So needless to say R&R Building and Mountain Barn Builders will never get my business again. There are plenty of other places to buy my gazebo and 3 car metal building at.

Visited the showroom and met Sales Manager Jon. We priced out a car port and I requested a site survey to show him where I wanted it placed. Three phone calls and 3 weeks later no one has come by our home. Not what I expected and not where I will do business.

Not professional at all. When shed was delivered, the driver didn’t look up, and hit a tree. so I paid over $7000 for a shed that was damaged on delivery. They fixed it quickly enough, but it’s still a damaged product. This is in the McMinnville Tennesseee office delivered in the same town. There are too many shed dealers around these days to have to put up with a damaged product when you pay that much. Suggest you find one of those other guys.Edit: the quality of the repair is not the issue. The issue is that I needed a repair done to a 7400$ building before it was even was placed on my property. although we spoke with no one at our brief visit, this is the place that we will be buying our outbuilding. The quality of the work is substantially ovciously better that any other shops for a 300 mile radius that we've seen. although it's not the closest one, it is the best and will be our choice. Great shop on a beautiful piece of land.

The prices are quite high for such a basic shed but it is decent quality. Delivery and set up was done wrong and they had to come back 3 more times before it was completed and set up right. Everyone I worked with was friendly.

I have had a terrible experience with Mountain barn builders, I'm a 100% disabled veteran and Chris and the owner Phillip Horst wouldn't return my phone calls after the sell. McKenzie bank is who they finance through and they treat customers horribly! I wouldn't recommend anyone do buisness with a company that treats veterans and customers the way I was treated! all I asked was for them to go by the contract that was signed) and also the quality they claim is terrible, after only 2 weeks trim around door came loose and inside boards was split. I do have picture's to back up my claims, buyers beware!

Its a scam!!!!!! Don't rent from these people. No matter if you pay your bill on the 1st or the 14th of each month they do not post your payment on time which ends up incurring late fees because of their laziness then they threaten to come pick up their shed. The online payment history is so jacked up out of shape that it actually shows 3 different years. Or it shows 2 payments for that month but you still get blamed for their mistake. Paying online is not an option either cus they lost my payment due to a computer glitch and now they want me to pay 3 times what my normal payment is to catch it back up when I have all my bank and money order receipts
