Because of his knowledge, I was spared purchasing a home that needed upward of 10,000 in repairs and updates. Daniel is very fast, punctual, thorough and patient. When scheduling I mentioned I had a septic inspector coming and he suggested that we do the home inspection at the same time so he can check that out. Communication was outstanding, he was on time with the appointment and did a very thorough job. The report was sent to me by the end of the day. He spent a hour and a half on the phone with me going through each item on the report (we're buying in a different state). I would not hesitate recommending Stoney Home Inspections and would definitely use them again.

This was one of the best experiences I could have imagined as a first time home buyer. He answered everything pre, during, and post inspection. Daniel did a thorough job with his inspection. He identified areas that needed attention that were not readily visible using heat and moisture technology. He was responsive to my need for a quick turnaround twice - once when I scheduled the inspection, and once when the underwriter asked for a re-inspection on a mitigated issue. The report provided was not only thorough, it is provided in a flexible format that supports many uses, including as a to-do list with notes. The report generated with an action list and a place to add in estimates and tally the total costs was such a time saver. Daniel is a true professional. I hired him to inspect a home that I am buying sight-unseen, from 1700 miles away, and he was extremely thorough. His report was meticulous, detailed and included many photographs to go along with the written descriptions and recommendations. I met Dan at the house and he walked me over every square inch of the property pointing out potential issues and documenting everything.
