We had an issue with our ceiling that Middleman Construction quick prioritized and did a great job. Based on the first job we decided to get a quote from them for a major home renovation. Everything seemed great at first but as walls started to go up, the poor quality began to show. You can easily see mud lines which they blamed on the paint. They cannot paint a straight line if their lives depended on it and ended up having to go with crown molding to hide what we could at the top. They touched up areas on the ceiling with a different white paint used for something else and its really noticeable.They were always in a hurry to get to the next job, saying they would be done in a couple days when the house was obviously nowhere near complete. On the final walk through, we would pointed out areas where there are issues and he would say "well we didn't charge you for [this or that]". They make excuses anytime something is not right and put the blame on the customer somehow. Gaslighting at its finest!I will say they came back to fix an issue with the floor and a couple of outlets but the outlets were broken in the first place due to them using the wrong hardware which stripped them out.Later, our sons closet doors fell off and they would not put them back up. Instead, they blamed the issues on the knobs...which tells me everything I need to know about their knowledge of construction.The final straw was when I unplugged my vacuum and the entire outlet came out with it because their crew used wood screws to put them in. They said they would get someone out when they could and show no real care about their work or quality.They are nice enough but that’s as far as it goes. Do not trust them with big projects as they are not well organized nor do they have time management skills.I hope this provides some insight as this is just the surface stuff and not everything we had issues with. Currently working with our lawyer on next steps.

Got a quote for a addition before prices went through the roof. The owner honored the original price after prices went up. They were professional and it was high quality . Thanks Lenny . We're all enjoying the new addition. Would highly recommend.

Very poor, sloppy work on retexturing a ceiling and fixing some drywall. Then the owner of the company wanted to argue the quality of work without stopping by to look at it. He eventually did agree to look at the work and admitted that they could have done better. I do not recommend this company!Services: Refurbishment, Drywall repair

Needs to slow down on the interstate and stop pushing people. That logo can be good or bad on your truck but it represents you company. BE SMART!!!

I would recommend middle man for anyone needing a drywall repair in East TN. Lenny and team does good work. 5 out of 5 work.

I absolutely hated what they did to my house, it would have just been easier for me to do it myself.The only thing that looks good are my floors.Even though they taped my base boards they still got paint everywhere.You kinda want to ask them if the know how to their jobs, they would just drop paint some where and leave it to dry.They said it would take them a week until we could move back in,but they would still be working,and 5 weeks later we are doing their job.I hope nobody ever goes through what my family and I went through.20,000 dollar we are having to fix theirs mistakes,I don't ever want them to step into my house again.
