We’ve owned our house for 32 years, redoing a kitchen, adding an office, sunroom, upstairs bedroom and bathroom. We’ve worked with a lot of different contractors, and recently used Brad and his Rusty Wood crew to add a screened-in porch. Brad and his crew are definitely some of the best contractors we’ve ever worked with. Brad is responsive, returning calls and texts quickly, and easy to communicate with. He and his crew kept us involved in the project decisions, making certain the porch ended up as something we would love. His crew is great. Brad showed up on time and gave me a quote for a new fence. We agreed on the price and he said it would be about 2 weeks before they could get started. I’m about 2 weeks his guys were onsite! They worked consistently and get the work done in the agreed time frame despite a couple rain delays! In short, Brad showed up and did what he said he would do. I’ve recommended him a couple times already. Neighbors as well as strangers have stopped and commented on how good the new fence looks. I’d definitely call him again!

Everything about the project went really well from the estimate, to the expected start, to the expected duration, and to finished project. The owner kept us informed throughout each phase. I had Brad and team remove an existing rotted deck and create a new bigger deck using Trex. Brad planned out every detail including having the inspector out 3 times and its the only deck I have ever owned that didn't shake when jumping on it. It's extremely well built and should last a VERY long time. Even the inspector was impressed at the craftsmanship when he came to check the work.Brad communicated very well on days he would be out and if it was going to be bad weather he would message me that he would be back the next day. Also, he involved me in the process very often either texting me about something he was thinking or having me take a look and we agreed together on something.After he was finished I turned on my irrigation and one of the posts and punctured an irrigation line and Brad came out very quickly and fixed the pipe that was hit.Again, I would highly recommend Brad and his guys!

Thanks to the lackluster work of a previous contractor, and some damage done to the deck by mother nature and a falling tree, my home has been under pretty well continual construction since August 4th of last year. Sounds like a nightmare, but I was fortunate enough to connect with what I consider to be the best contractor and crew in the entire area when I found Brad and his crew at TheRustyWoodCo.From the moment these guys came it is has been nothing but pure professionalism. If it was possible to rate someone or a business about 5 stars this place would be getting at least twice that from me. Brad's communication has always been spot on and I have never felt out of the loop. When there were bumps in the road along the way, Brad was quick to address them, let me know what was going on, and had solutions to address the issue even before I knew there was an issue.If you have ever had to deal with an insurance company over repairs, I am sure that you can relate when I say it is a headache. Brad was always there to provide me with what was needed to navigate the conversations with the insurance companies, or even have them himself and make sure that all the needed repairs were not only done, but done correctly.I frequently hear about people who do nothing but complain about their contractors and feel like they are getting neglected. If that is you, or your experience, call Brad and his crew, I can assure you that you will not experience that with this group of guys.Don't be afraid to call them for any of your home renovation needs. Our large front deck was in disrepair and needed replacing. We called Rusty Wood based largely on the 100% positive reviews. Brad responded very quickly and immediately instilled a sense of confidence that the job would be done correctly.The crew (Forrest, Daniel, and Sean) was hard working and pleasant to be around for nearly three weeks. Amazing workmanship!! When we purchased our home, we had a vision of the perfect screened porch instead of our existing raised deck. The first builder we had an agreement with was unable to do the job. We called several other contractors with no luck. We saw a review for The Rusty Wood Company and called Brad Cornelison, Licensed Contractor. He returned our call immediately and made an appointment to come out and look at the job. He gave us a reasonable estimate and scheduled the job in an acceptable timeframe. He and his crew of professional craftsman arrived on the start date and worked tirelessly for over a month. They were always here on time and were always working hard and problem-solving. We were always included in the construction and design process. This wasn’t the easiest job as there were a few design challenges along the way. Everything that we had to revise in the design ended up being better than what we had imagined. The design of the screened porch seemed simple at first but in reality, was much more difficult than we had envisioned. Brad and his team were quick to provide solutions to every problem encountered and excellent design ideas. The quality of the team’s work was exceptional, and the professionalism of Brad, Forrest, Daniel, and Sean was unequaled. We were so happy with the completed project that we have already spoken to Brad about doing several other exterior and interiors jobs.
