He listened to what we wanted in our house and offered great advice beyond our vision that made the final build better than we could have imagined. The sub-contractors we worked with had outstanding craftsmanship. We loved working with Erik, Baileigh, and Damon. They all were just a text or phone call away, even after hours. Without a doubt we would chose Jason to build for us again!

Jason Day and his team were the right partners in building our beautiful new home.Jason is very knowledgeable of all aspects of the custom home building process, which gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed when making the many difficult decisions that come along with home building. He spent a lot of time reviewing our plans, implementing our changes, and answering the seemingly unending questions we had even before breaking ground.Transparency was important to me, and Jason and his team were really good about being honest with expectations when it came to timelines and pricing. Bought a new home in Jonesborough in mid-2021, and it took over a year to get any minimal warranty repairs done. Other needed repairs went unattended despite numerous calls, and we only received repeated reassurances that we had not been forgotten. To this day, we have an upstairs bathroom fan that is extremely loud, numerous doors that don't shut properly, inadequate drainage off of our back porch, and an unrepaired garage ceiling stemming from a previously malfunctioning hvac in the attic. We love a lot of things about the home, but don't look for adequate follow-through after purchase with this builder.Service: Home building

JDC completely renovated our house, while occupied by our family of 5. We had 6 different contractors to walk through and provide a quote. JDC did not hesitate at the size of the project and built a detailed itemized budget based on our designer’s plan, which they were able to stick to. The renovation involved removing 2 large walls to make a new open kitchen, turning a one car garage into added living room space, moving the laundry to the kitchen pantry to expand the master bathroom, and adding a front porch. Everything inside was completely updated. Damon Bawgus was the project manager and felt like family by the end. He was responsive to our critique of each step and strived for our approval. Damon’s goal was to have someone at the house every day. He nearly accomplished this despite it being during COVID, while also being very conscientious that the environment was safe for our children. We are extremely pleased with the end product. Even after completion, JDC quickly responded to a few minor repairs and a few additional small projects.
