Experience with Vanderpool was like a refreshing experience from the good ole days. People showing up when they say and staying till they're done, plus doing quality work. Vanderpool had the best shingles at the lowest cost of 6 local roofing contractors. Their crew showed up in 5 days after agreeing to contract. They worked from sun up till sun down for two days to complete 6000 sq/ft project. They cleaned up after each day and used magnetic roller to make sure they got every nail. Vanderpool Roofing experience was nothing short of amazing. The price was unbeatable. There wasn't any pressure. They did not try to sell me more expensive shingles. They were honest about their products and offer many choices of style and color. There weren't any unnecessary charges for damages under the old shingles. They completed my home in 1 business day. The only evidence they had been at my home was my beautiful new roof. No tire tracks in the grass, nails were picked up by magnetic roller. No trash left behind. I highly recommend them for any and all roofing needs.

My 15-20 year old, 3-tile asphalt shingle roof started to leak earlier this year. Despite my best efforts, I could find no one willing to do a repair and started getting estimates for a replacement.I had a co-worker and a family member tell me not to bother with Vanderpool, as their estimates were always very high. This was not the case. I received estimates of $6200, $6500, and $8600 before Vanderpool quoted me $5300. Now, I'm not normally one to always go with the lowest bidder (I prefer something right in the middle) but Vanderpool's quote included the same shingles, the same warranties, and the same work (including boot replacement, chimney flashing, architectural shingles, etc.) as everyone else. The only difference I noticed is that Vanderpool did not offer the ice / water shield around the edge of the roof like everyone else. They did include hip and ridge shingles which some estimates did not.Linda and Amanda were helpful, quick, and effective over email. They worked with me to get all the extra questions answered and even helped get shingles in a color they did not normally have in stock (coastal granite).Vanderpool was able to schedule a day within about 4 weeks to do the installation. The day of, the work crew arrived right on time (0730) and started work. I spoke to the foreman about a few concerns I had and he said he would make sure it was taken care of. They worked steady throughout the day and were finished by 1645. They did an excellent job cleaning up and I even spotted one worker sweeping for nails in the wooded area in the back of my house. The new roof looked great!The work crew did leave the leftover shingles and installation materials on a pallet on my yard (the full pallet was delivered the week before). But that ended up working out as the next day I left the payment on the pallet and they picked it up at the end of the day. The final price was approx. $5380, as I was charged for some bad wood replacement. I noticed they replaced an entire plank near my plumbing vent but I'm not sure where else.I got up in the ceiling after a good rain and didn't notice any dripping or wet spots. The spot that was previously leaking appears to be fixed.Overall, I'm very pleased with my entire experience with Vanderpool. I would recommend anyone get a quote from them if you need a new roof.Service: Roof installation

Finding Vanderpool Roofing was a Godsend. After meeting with numerous local roofing companies and not having a strong sense of confidence or trust in any of them, I finally contacted Vanderpool Roofing after seeing their ad on TV and finding all the 5-Star reviews online. Amanda and the other ladies in the office were very efficient. Jason came out the very next day to look at our roof and provide an estimate. From the very outset, it was a night and day experience in dealing w/Vanderpool vs. the previous companies. Jason was very knowledgeable, professional, and very good to follow-up to answer our questions and provide any additional information, ensuring all the details of the project were finalized. On the day scheduled for installation, the crew arrived on time, all materials delivered, and after a long day of hard work and working past normal quitting time, the job was completed. Clean-up was unbelievable. The next day a couple of the crew returned for a short time just to ensure all the finishing touches were complete and a last check to ensure nothing was left undone. We were so pleased with the outcome and cannot speak highly enough of this company and the service they provide. Vanderpool Roofing is IMPECCABLE, totally off the chart compared to the competition. Having previously worked for a roofing company myself, I know first hand what it takes for this type of project. I can say without hesitation that the entire team at Vanderpool delivered the job! Josh was great from day one of the estimate. The estimate was given to us at the appointment and we did not have to wait for days like with some other roofing companies. He was on the site to get the crew started and was there throughout until it was completed (2 days for completion). GREAT JOB FROM START TO FINISH!Jason, my salesperson, was extremely helpful, honest, and professional. Jason brought a rotation of samples until I felt comfortable with my final choice. He had brought all samples of materials that would be installed for look, see, feel. I had contacted 3 roofing companies for estimates, and did extensive research on FB, BBB, reviews, and other social media that were applicable. Vanderpool is a good solid company, good management, efficient sales, and quality work.The roof was completed in less than 2 days and the company works with the weather forecast for as ideal as possible installation.Thanks to Jamie the installation crew chief. No plants were damaged, all landscaping was intact, and I have plenty of it. The entire crew was extremely polite, and hard-working. Vanderpool roofing was very quick and responsive to my e-mail messages. they answered all my questions, and sent over the specks of the shingles they offered. the install crew showed up on time. the materials were delivered 30 minutes ahead of schedule. bright and early 6:30am. I appreciate an early start. my roof was completed in one day, not having to worry about weather or the crew needing to return. the crew cleaned up nicely and did not see any loose nails in my driveway. i thought the price was reasonable. they respected the ground in which the septic tank was buried, regarding where the crew was allowed to drive the heavy dump truck. much thanks to all the hard workers!Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof installation

This is the second time I've used Vanderpool Roofing and have been totally pleased with them. The first time was when I had a leak in the valley and they came and fixed it. Then most recent had storm damage and lost clusters of shingles. I called and they came the same day to tarp it. Josh did a fantastic job even though it was after hours. I received a call from Jason saying they had a cancelation and they could do my roof and crew was there same day and completed it all in a day. When I arrived home Chad was with crew overseeing everything and did a walk around with me. I am tickled with my new roof. Fantastic work! I would highly recommend them.

First let me start by saying I was hoping to work with Vanderpool on my roof project as I have seen the work they do which seemed like prompt completion, good quality etc. BUT I met with Josh on the project who said it seemed like they would do the work and he would get me an estimate in a few days. A week later I called and the lady who answered didn’t have any info on the job but said she would look into it. 2 weeks later I hadn’t heard anything so I stopped by the office and the lady said he was out of town and left no record of the project with anyone. 3 weeks later I call again with the same run around and after a month Josh finally calls back just before closing and says they don’t want the job. It seems they rejected the job due to the fact we already had the material onsite and they would not be getting the usual markup on the the project estimate. So after a month of being held up on the project I called BDM Construction who promptly gave me an estimate, started the project a week earlier than projected and were absolutely amazing to work with.Sorry guys but you have forever lost my business.

We needed a roof, had been putting it off; another company came by and gave a quote, then started pushing to sign a contract. I insisted I needed other quotes. I called, and Vanderpool’s rep showed up, as pleasant as could be, and the quote was for thousands less. When the time came, they showed up promptly, worked furiously all day, stripped the old roof, made repairs, put the underlayment down, and began laying down the new shingling. Came back early the next day, finished up the installation, tidied up the yard and departed. Very impressed. Even my neighbors were letting me know they were contacting me to say how good they thought it looked. I am so glad I insisted on getting another quote and had contacted Vanderpool.

The choice was easy!Roofing companies inundated my neighborhood after hail damaged approximately 25 houses in May 2022; they disrupted my work, repeatedly called me, and became a nuisance. I was not excited about the process of choosing a company to replace my roof. I spoke with several of my neighbors and heard positive reviews of Vanderpool. I called Vanderpool and talked to Jason. He was professional and knowledgeable and came to assess my roof the next day. I had roof damage after a wind storm and needed a new roof. While Vanderpool was my first call, I did get estimates from at least six other roofing companies. Vanderpool wasn't the least expensive and by far not the most expensive (several came in above them). Why did I stick with Vanderpool even though I had a couple of estimates for less? They guaranteed and promised to replace everything- drip edge, ridge vents, vent flashing and the shingle warranty was included. Yes, I had an estimate in which the shingle warranty was optional for an extra pricy amount and everything included in Vanderpool's estimate was listed "if needed" on lessor estimates. For something that should last 20 years, you don't want to have to have an area redone because you didn't get new flashings. You can get your roof done cheaper if that's what you want. You can even pay way more for it than you really should if that suites you. But if you want it done right and everything included that should be replaced and all at a reasonable price - Vanderpool Roofing is the way to go.They will also answer any questions you may have before, during and after your roof installation.
