The crew did an excellent job replacing our aged roof. They started the project on the day we agreed to begin. The crew worked full days from morning till dusk and were courteous to us and also our neighbors. Larry who over saw the project was there daily to make sure the project ran smoothly, clean up was done daily and that we were satisfied with the quality of materials and workmanship giving us peace of mind. At the end of the project Larry made sure all debris, nails etc were removed from our property and that we were totally satisfied. Excellent job of reroofing our families commercial building, the existing roof was in terrible shape. The crew at McGuire Roofing basically rebuilt the upper level roof due to the damage and condition of the existing roof. (flat roofs and spray foam coating = major leaks and rot) Thanks so much to Tucker and the team at McGuire Roofing ! Dale, the roofing team and Larry were all professional, communicative, and even came back a second time to ensure all the nails were picked up. Last summer we paid this company to repair leaks in our roof. It was an expensive repair, but they seemed confident that this would end the leaks. This spring we noticed the leaks were growing and getting worse, so we contacted McGuire again in April to see if they could take another look and fix the leaks again. It’s now almost August and we’ve called every week, desperately trying to get them to fix our roof. Our house is fairly new and looks awful now because of all of the damage. I hate to think what the attic might look like. We really wanted to give McGuires the opportunity to make this right but it doesn’t seem like there’s any interest on their part. We had a wonderful experience with McGuire Roofing. Our initial plan was to go with the DECRA metal roof, but the manufacturer was behind due to the pandemic. Tucker was able to get our deposit refunded and help switch our plans to a traditional shingle roof as well as help me choose the perfect color for our home. They were also incredibly accommodating to our schedule as we needed to coordinate a respite stay for our loved one with dementia during the roof installation. The work was fast and efficient, allowing us to resume our schedules and bring our loved one home.We really appreciate that the work was timely, professional and beautiful, but even more so that they accommodated all of our time constraints. It meant so much to have those needs respected AND come out the other side with a roof we love.

We had a 4,000 sqft roof total replacement done in 1 day. They had 2 crews here at 7:15 am and they worked non stop with only a lunch break and finished clean up and were gone by 8:45 pm. They covered all our plants, moved items out of the way for demo. There were people on the ground picking up demo stuff all day. At the end they went over the property with metal detectors and then a leaf blower. The crews used appropriate safety harnesses while on the roof. They were very well organized, professional and treated our house as if it was there’s. We were truly impressed with the people and the company. I would highly recommend McGuire Roofing! Our case was a little different than everyone else’s. Our roof over our carport was leaking and no one, including multiple other roofing companies, could figure out exactly where it was coming from. The only thing we could figure was the rain was being pushed back under the shingles due to the carport roof being sloped low so they recommended doing a granulated roofing instead of shingles. We haven’t had a single leak since! During the process of doing the granulated roofing, we had some issues along the way but McGuire Roofing made sure to listen to our concerns and make sure we were happy with the finished results! Not only did they fix any issues we had, the very day we paid them for the newly installed granulated roofing, a storm came through and blew a limb right down on top of the roof, which punctured a hole right through it. Larry at McGuire Roofing, who was a godsend through the entire process, called the very next morning and they had someone out there immediately to fix it. I needed a roof for our business that was damaged in a storm. I spoke with Larry at McGuire who said they would come out and look at it, he showed up with Tucker McGuire and Cody Cox and we discussed the job. They showed up with the materials the day before the job and the day of the job a full crew who were all very professional showed up with additional materials and started the job, in just a few hours and they had all of the old roof torn off of half the building and had the old wood and any decking that needed replaced done and then the rain started, There were no leaks. They showed up the next morning and completed the other side when again the rain started and again no leaks, They showed up the next morning and fully completed the job and it looks amazing and the cleanup was phenomenal their crew is totally professional and dealing with Tucker and Cody and Larry was a totally awesome experience, I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I recently posted this review of McGuire Roofing to Facebook. Today, their rep Larry called MY phone, asked to speak to my husband, and then tore into ME about the review. EVERY SINGLE WORD OF MY REVIEW IS TRUE. But this misogynist bypassed me, lied to my husband, exaggerated the review, and GASLIT me. Hmm. Ladies... ever experienced this?Review:You took 6 months to replace our roof, never returned a call, didn't buy the right materials for the obvious truss and roof replacement, and allowed a non-English-speaking crew to work on our roof UNsupervised with a 10-year-old child...who fell off the ladder. I recently had new gutters and guards installed by McGuire Roofing and Construction and I am extremely satisfied with my choice of contractors. I got multiple quotes, but Dave Thomas of McGuire was the only rep who didn’t use high pressure sales tactics when he visited my home to give me an estimate. When I called to book, Dave told me that he would not be able to schedule my job for a few weeks. This was fine by me and he kept me updated and informed during that time. After my gutters and guards were installed, I had a question about an extra downspout that was not installed but I thought I had discussed with Dave so I called expecting to get an excuse and no resolution. I was pleasantly surprised that rather than than give me the brush off, Dave promised to make it right and came to my home the same day and installed the downspout himself. Dave went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. From the initial quote process through installation, McGuire demonstrated their professionalism, expertise, customer service, and true passion for their business. It is clear from Dave’s actions that McGuire Roofing and Construction seeks to ensure their clients’ complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this company. In late 2020, I wanted to have a roof inspection completed by a reputable company and have any issues repaired. After trying a different company that was quick to give an estimate for the small amount of work but never bothered to come actually do it, McGuire Roofing was recommended by my realtor as someone that had done work for other clients.Tucker came by within days of my call and provided the inspection and estimate. He had detailed knowledge that he shared and noted items that the other estimator had not bothered to point out. He gave me an estimate via email the same day and I hired them to do the work. Despite being busy, they were able to send a crew out in less than 2 weeks, which fit my timeline perfectly.The roofing crew completed the work efficiently, and despite it being a bit more work than anticipated, McGuire Roofing did not raise the invoice beyond the original estimate. In total, I had a roof inspection, roof repair, and gutter repair. There was a small issue with the gutter, but Chelsea in the office quickly responded, sent out a specialist to address, and that was quickly taken care of.I appreciate the responsiveness of the workers, Tucker, and Chelsea. The roofing crew was very knowledgeable and efficient in their work. The gutter specialist, Justin, was amazing. He pointed out and fixes multiple issues left by another company in the past and left everything in great shape.It's rare to have a company meet or exceed your expectations and when you haven't used someone previously, it's a bit scary to take that leap. I'm glad I chose McGuire's to do this work. They are a local company in Knoxville (which I always try to use) and the exceeded my expectations. Buyer beware. Folks, you're looking at almost a $12k roof job by McGuire roofing. This roof was put on in the Spring of 2020, the picture attached is from this November. The lab at GAF says this is not a shingle failure, but that the shingles were installed improperly. I'm still waiting on Tucker to make this right, but we all know he won't.Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.Service: Roof installation

I have two leaks in my roof. They were suppose to come last week to fix. They didn't. It rained a lot and now my ceiling is about to fall. They didn't go on my roof to prevent leaking while waiting for them. The office isn't following up with my call. The office works from home so she doesn't have most the info in front of her most of the time to answer your questions properly. Save yourself some grief and use someone that cares.

I hired McGuire Roofing to complete a new roof on detached garage based on their generally good reviews, price and availability (said they could squeeze the job in within a week). The estimator, Dale, was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately after solidifying the contract, this was where things started to fall. I had to follow up frequently to get the job scheduled. Once scheduled, no show, I called and they said it was too cold. The following working day, I called and they said material should be delivered today, which it was. I assumed work would proceed the following day; however, no show. I called and they could not give any reason why the crew did not show or if they would. Later in the day they called and said they would be there next day. The next day they did show, and come to find out, the Project Manager TJ came to complete the job because they couldn't get a reliable crew. He completed the roof but unfortunately cleanup was not done well. I appreciate their willingness to do the right thing and get the job done but would have to recommend they improve their communication/scheduling, employee status, and job cleanup.Service: Roof installation

The team at McGuire were great to work with. Tucker showed up on the day he had scheduled to look at the roofing job and quickly provided us with a detailed estimate that was competitively priced. Being a busy rental cabin there were only a few days available that would not conflict with guests staying there. Even with the challenging weather in February he and his crew were able to come on a day we had requested and completely replace the roof. The new roof looks great and we couldn't be happier! Chelsey at the office was also always available to help answer any questions we had. I highly recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

We interviewed 3 separate roofing contractors before choosing McGuire Roofing. We did as much research before meeting with each contractor as possible. Tucker was punctual and was able to answer all of our questions that we had. Communication was key for going with McGuire for us. We had to special order our shingles because no one stocked them. We also had gutters installed. We were updated regularly on the order and install dates. Everything turned out perfect and we could be happier with our choice. No question I would recommend them. It has rained all week and everything looks great, and best of all, no leaks.Update: 9-13-2021We developed two leaks on our roof! We called McGuires, and a crew came out that week. One of the crew members told me they found some installation errors that the original crew members made when installing the roof. Repairs were made to the roof; however, the drywall repair looks like it is coming out of my pocket. We are still unsure if the leaks are repaired, and no follow-up communication has been made from McGuires. It looks like we will have to crawl in the attic the next time it rains to see if it is fixed. I hope this helps others who are thinking about using McGuires.

From a previous customer...This is the first time I have ever posted to next-door. I am writing to let you know about a terrible experience I have had working with McGuire Roofing. I had an unfortunate roofing leak in August of 2021, and paid McGuire Roofing $42,000 to remove and replace my roof. They were nearly impossible to communicate with from August to May of 2022, when they finally replied that they had "dropped the ball" but would be out the second week of June to remove the roof. They removed my roof, and have disappeared. I have been without a roof for over two months, creating interior water issues. They do not return phone calls or emails, and have never given me any indication that they plan to return. I have asked that my $42,000 be reimbursed and they have not responded, even to an attorney's request. I would implore you to use another roofing company and tell your friends to do the same.

They did a good job on roofing but did not follow up on questions about repairs I was charged for. They have also not reinstalled water diverters. Now I don’t get calls returned. I cannot recommend this company.

I called and made an appointment for someone to come out and look at my metal roof. The appointment was made for Saturday, June 18 at noon. On Friday, June 17 at about 4:30pm, I received a call from the roofer asking if I could change to a later time on Saturday. I couldn't, so he offered to come out on Sunday, June 19 at 3pm. I accepted. At about 3:20pm on June 19, after he failed to show, I called the office, but since they were closed, I could only leave a message. I gave a summary of the appointments and the current time, and that I hadn't received a phone call about anything since Friday evening. The roofer never showed. Monday, June 20, I received a call from the office wanting to know if the roofer ever called me. He had not. The woman said she would find out what was going on and get back to me. Around 4:30pm, I still hadn't received a call so I tried calling the business but there was no answer. I did not leave a message. At about 6:20pm I received a call from the office. She told me the roofer was supposed to call me and that she would get in touch with him. It is now 11:30am on June 21 and I have not heard back from the roofer or the company. Completely unprofessional.

Not only did they follow up with me through each step of my roof replacement but they had it finished within a week of meeting them.The team that came and replaced my roof took great care of my property. Contacted McGuires roofing for a small gutter repair because I was well pleased with a previous roof repair. I had a fairly narrow time frame due to work schedules and anticipated weather. Mcguire Roofing sent an inspector out the next day and gave me a thorough written estimate of repairs for my roof. When I was ready for repairs to be done, I called them and they had a team out the next morning. They didn't even need me to be home. They just showed up when they said they would, did the work they said they were going to do, and sent me an invoice a few days later. That is not always the case with other companies, so I very much appreciate their conscientiousness in their work.
