They were great. We had a tough road. Each room of the house we bought was painted a different wacky color. We just wanted something neutral and light. We also had a tight deadline, we only gave them about a month to do it. Initial consultation was quick and painless, they were up front about it going to need three coats to lighten the walls, so we expected it to be expensive and take forever. Well, we were blown away by the results…they painted our entire house beautifully and finished a week early, at a reasonable price. Craig was the painter and he’s the best there is at what he does. Very clean, tight cuts, no unevenness, and matched the color perfectly (we liked the living room, so we asked them to match). Can’t thank them enough for fixing up our beautiful home. Beware of this company I had roof damage about 2 feet of shingles came loose so they decided to cover the entire roof with plastic on a two story with house 4 bds it looked like a bug exterminating and two fans inside the house on upper floor for days running 23 hrs bill $7000 then they pick up the fans months went by close to a year and they never removed the gigantic plastic cover on the the vaulted roof home association gave multiple warnings and fines till we had some come and remove everything and all the siding was ruined by wood and nails they used to hold down the plastic cover. Beware of fraudulent companies.

This was the worst contractor experience of a lifetime. Owner promised a great job and project manager estimated 2 weeks to restore damaged floor. Super nice up front and came out to demo the house very quickly. Little did I realize that locked me into the horrors of shoddy work, no commitment and 6 months failure to do the work correctly. The floor looks worse than the original with severe tile lippage. Tile replacement was the purpose of the contract and now I have to find another tile installer to fix the work. After threatening to walk off the job, accusing my wife of breaking the kitchen granite, that they banged on with a hammer, miscommunication, not showing up, taking off for their vacation and then doing poor work. I unfortunately cannot ever recommend them. I typically NEVER leave bad reviews because I feel bad about it. I just don't want anyone else to be lured into such an experience as we had to go through. Beware, they love to come in a demo then lock you into a long and disastrous experiences that restores your home into worst condition then before they started. Based on my experience with this company, I can't expect anyone reviewing them with 5 stars is real.

We had an excellent experience with Restoration 101. We had water damage from a pipe that burst so we contacted the company after receiving their information from a reputable source and they arrived within a couple of hours to assess the situation. The immediate problem was resolved that night and a project manager met with us the following day to put together a plan to repair the extensive damage. We were provided with a detailed project budget and were able to analyze it with the project manager in person. The work included installation of new floors, insulation, drywall and trim. The project was completed on time and within budget and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. I want to specifically recognize Will, Joe, Stevie and Sam for the hard work and attention to detail they put into this project because they treated this as if they were repairing their own homes.

Ron was responsive, knowledgeable and diligent in taking care of our floor after we had a flooding issue. His word was gold and he took care of us when a problem arose that was not of his making. Not only would we call him again, but we did call him again this morning for another accident and he is on his way over. You don’t meet many people these days that tell you something and then follow through with what they say. I could not give a higher recommendation. Our floors are gorgeous.

In 2021 had a dreadful experience with this company. And I was conflicted if I should post a review because the original man who came out was so kind.I was going through chemo and had some water damage. They came out and made big promises. They did demo, and left the entire mess of demo in my front yard. So on top of chemo struggles I had to hire someone else to come clean up after them. They fixed one room the bathroom, but in my kitchen there was a leak. The guy argued with me about if it was a leak or something else. Instead of repairing the leak, they put new plaster where the leaking pipe was. The plaster was a mess and they left mess everywhere for me to clean, knowing I was doing chemo…that type of mess for a chemo patient can be very dangerous to inhale. Not to mention I felt they took advantage of me at my worst. They also left a gaping hole between the wall and the ceiling and it was an act of congress to get them to come fix it.The kitchen was left looking terrible. It still does to be honest. The project manager came out and said he was unhappy with the work. I was so relieved because I was so sick and didn’t have it in me to continue heckling them to get them to do their job. He said it would be fixed. It never happened and that same leak that they never fixed has since opened back up a hole in the ceiling.They called repeatedly after to have me sign insurance paperwork so that they could charge insurance for the work. When I told them it was never finished the man told me he had just joined the team and this has been the case with several people. They were working on correcting it. He would have someone out to correct the terrible work.It never happened. And now that this leak has reopened within the last year and I have to look at that, I can’t feel peace not telling others to avoid the company. I feel if they would do this to a single mother that they knew was doing chemo, I don’t owe them my silence.

I have owned and operated my landscape construction business in Knoxville since 1995. During this time I have learned a lot about how to take care of our clients. The folks at Restoration 101 understand the same principals. Treat people how you would want to be treated and then some. We had some significant water damage at a condominium we own in Farragut and a friend recommended I give R101 a call. We decided to not only have them repair the damaged flooring but renovate and update the entire condo. Even as busey as the construction industry is right now they did a fantastic job in every aspect. Communication, quality workmanship, flexibility, fair pricing are just a few of the qualities that come to mind. Major storm rolled thru my side of town last March. A huge pine tree fell on and through my house. I called about 5 or 6 different contractors, noone could get to me and one completely stood me up. We had a severe water leak over Memorial Day weekend while we were out of town. Restoration 101 came out within hours even on a holiday weekend to mitigate the water issue and begin demolition. They were also able to work closely with the insurance company to make sure we were compensated fairly. The restoration work was put into play so quickly! I had a washer that overflowed on September 26th. I called my insurance company on September 27th and within 5 minutes Ron, from Restorations 101 called me and came to my house immediately.
