I had a master bathroom and half bath completely remodeled with Summit and also ha a master bedroom painted and popcorn and wallpaper removed. Will was so easy to work with. He always answered my calls or called me back ASAP. He always answered all of my questions and emails also. His worker Isaac was AMAZING! He showed up every day on time.. He worked hard all day, he kept me posted as to what he would do that day. He was left alone in my home most days and truly trustworthy. He was professional, pleasant to be around and very polite. We hired Summit Painting to reseal and stain our large wrap around deck. It was in rough shape before, but thanks to their hard work it looks like new. Where to start. Terrible communication, not professional, poor and extremely immature service.Failed to finish the job, paint not touched up, new fixtures crooked, fixtures not touched up with paint, brand new wall paint and you can see the old paint. Same with trim. Also there’s Trim paint on the wall paint.They left the bathroom and other areas a mess, left painters tape in areas of the home. Failed to clean up. There’s a hole in my ceiling bathroom fixture where you can see the attic. Left it.Failed to fix kitchen floor properly. Left a poor sub floor as is and put new floor over it. Never provided reasons why until it was too late. Just did it. So I have a new floor that sinks down when stepped on…just like the old floor. But, it looks nice. 👍🏻They had the responsibility of hooking up the the sink to plumbing after new counters and sink installed. Sink leaks!! Go figure. My sink leaks and I have brand new everything. Thanks!I’ve had several other businesses comes through for other work and can’t believe the hack job they left.I was yelled at and swore at towards the end bc the owner didn’t want to finish his work. He wanted more money to complete the job he agreed to. Big surprise!Do not use this company. Nothing professional here. The service was amazing. We had a walk around and walk through the house to look at everything that needed to be done.We had a couple of spots of water damage in multiple rooms, new trim, and the exterior needed to be repainted. The work was done fast and so well. Our ceiling in the basement was rough because I added and moved a number of in-ceiling fixtures. The team did such an awesome job smoothing my patching and painting everything. I will definitely call them next time we need some painting!

We employed Summit Painting to restain the exterior of a house that was badly in need of attention. They did an excellent job of making repairs before restaining, including finding ways to save money in the process. The exterior restaining looks great. Summit Painting and Remodeling has completed a few projects for us within the past 2.5 years. They have done everything from painting, to removing our popcorn ceilings, to electric (including installing new lighting and electrical wiring), and repairing our porch roof. Will and his crew are professional and efficient. They are very conscientious about cleaning up when the job is done. In addition, the estimates Will has provided have been very accurate compared to the final cost of the jobs completed. We would highly recommend them. He is on Angie's List and gives Angie's List discounts.

Will and his team were great. About a year ago they stained and sealed our new deck. This Spring we wanted our rooms painted, so contacted Will, who was able to work around our travel schedule.The team painted all the rooms in our two story house plus the 5 room finished basement apartment. We chose several different colors, wanting our rooms to have life, and they got all the right colors in all the right rooms. The team members treated our home and family with respect and courtesy. They are diligent workers, and careful painters.In addition to the painting, they hung a stained glass picture in our high, entry window (I don't climb ladders), and Will installed track lighting in my quilting studio and in the basement den.I would gladly recommend their services to anyone, and plan to have them back again next year to reseal the deck.

Interior drywall repair and paint, and most recently (Early 2016) a large master bathroom project consisting of a new tile shower using Kerdi membrane and drain, finish carpentry around the tub, dry wall and paint.Projects were always done well, with the site kept clean. Hiring Will Kaiser’s Summit Painting and Remodeling would be a big mistake. I know because I hired Summit to do some interior painting and remove popcorn ceiling. It turns out that Mr. Kaiser doesn’t honor his word nor his warranty and from the beginning his communication skills were pathetic. The job also took much longer than I was told it would take.After I contacted him on July 28 about fixing a couple of places where tape had bubbled and was clearly visible, on July 29 he sent me an email saying that he would fix the problems within two to three weeks. It’s been four weeks and he’s nowhere to be found, except he finally did respond to my request asking if my job was still on his calendar. He sent me an email Aug. 19 filled with attitude and apologizing for his inability to meet my “timeline.” Only it was actually HIS timeline. And he doesn’t have the professionalism to respond to emails I’ve sent requesting his new timeline.Ultimately, I paid him $4,912 to do what turned out to be a mediocre job. Before I hired Summit, Mr. Kaiser assured me that the job would be done right. Obviously, it wasn’t. I’ll either fix Summit’s shoddy work myself or hire someone else, which I should have done in the first place. There are lots of better options in the Knoxville area.Aug. 28 update: Mr. Kaiser's response is a clever dodge of the facts. My experience with him from the very beginning was that he doesn't take the 20 seconds required to keep his customers informed. They're left to wonder. He is the one who set the two- to three-week timeline for the repairs to the substandard work, clearly visible in my review on Angie's List. Not only did he not meet this timeline, he gave me no confidence that he'd ever fix the problems. Please go to Angie's List to see what you get for $5,000 from Summit Painting and Remodeling. It isn't pretty. Also, in fact, I paid an additional $500 for the work Mr. Kaiser says he threw in. His crew painted my foyer walls because they messed them up when they painted the ceiling. I've noticed that others have the same problem with Mr. Kaiser. By not being responsive to customers -- especially those who have already paid him thousands of dollars -- he does irreparable damage to his reputation.

House looks great! Very pleased with their process - extremely professional - guys onsite kept things neat during work, asked questions when needed clarification, very polite and respectful of family and other workers. I am a frequent DIY type but did not want to paint standing on tall ladders again - so to say I am rather picky in results is an understatement... Well these guys simply hit it out of the ballpark. Paint coverage on the brick was complete with no touch-ups needed as they did not skimp on the paint (quality or amount). Coverage everywhere is very good and will protect our home for a long time (i worked in the coatings mfg industry before - they did it right). I like it that Will (owner) talked with me about what I wanted done, listened to me, and advised me when he had a better option.
