Moving my daughter from her apartment to a house and had several items to install and assemble. Was only in town for the weekend. Corey responded quickly and was the only one willing to schedule on a Saturday. Kenneth was my installer and I cannot say enough great things about him. He was on time, so nice and had a great attitude. We ran into some difficult challenges and when I was ready to give up - he was determined and patient, completing everything perfectly. The custom bed was especially hard - and ran into unexpected issues w the Roman shades - but Kenneth figured them out. I recommend Corey and his team - especially Kenneth.Service: Furniture assembly

I have taken a prolonged period of time to write this review so that it could be factual and not written from emotion. Companies and individuals considering contracting with this handyman company should be cautious. I contracted with them to remove the popcorn from my ceilings and make them smooth. I also contracted with them to put primer on the ceilings. At first everything seemed fine, but when I went to take down the light fixtures from the ceilings so that they could be painted the primer in all but 1 room peeled. I also had peeling when supports were set against the ceiling for a new window to be installed. I consulted with several other contractors about the situation and they are all in agreement that either (1) it was paint that was placed on the ceiling, (2) the ceilings were not properly cleaned and excessive dust (there is beyond excessive dust in my home that they never cleaned up) created an issue with the primer bonding to the ceiling properly or (3) when they mudded the ceiling they did not leave sufficient time for the mud to dry before priming the ceiling and thereby caused a trapped moisture layer which caused the issue. Regardless the result was the same. When I reached out the owner of the company I was told that he would come patch the places. The issue I had with that was that every reputable contractor I spoke with had the same solution. The ceilings had to be peeled, left so the mud could fully dry, possibly reapplying some mud, re-sanded in places, cleaned and a special product had to now be applied so that future primer would stick and I would not have the issue again. When this was advanced to the owner he became very rude, tried to bait me into a verbal fight and stated that he had done nothing wrong. He refused to fix the issue outright stating I had created the problem and caused damage because I had started to peel the paint back. I am now in contact with the contractor's board and filing a complaint against his company for faulty work. I also had to pay to have the ceilings properly repaired which resulted in excessive cost. All that being said, I believe it is important to speak up when a company will not stand behind nor properly fix their mistakes. I would not want anyone else to have the same kind of nightmare that I have had. For anyone interested, I would watch the response. I expect the owner to be aggressive yet again at the truth being exposed. (Post note: As you can see from the response this company, the owner continues to deny any wrongdoing. What you will see in his reviews is that when something goes wrong it is the clients fault and his only offer is a "patch job" not a proper fix. It is always someone else's fault. And, when pushed to fix his mistake properly he simply blames others and walks away. He said he absolutely would NOT fix it properly. Unfortunately, this owner, even months later, still refuses to take responsibility for a faulty job. There was no "scaping" of the ceiling as I was accused. The primer peeled off in sheets that were 2 feet by 3 feet. Properly applied primer would not peel the tiniest bit much less huge sections like that. Sadly, it took less than 10 minutes to peel the entire ceiling. If it was as simple as a light fixture caught on paint/primer it would not extend to an entire ceiling. I also have seen blatant lies in the response. I in no way discussed any “walls” nor did I speak of “paint.” As I discussed, they were paid to prime the ceilings. Primer should NOT peel. Lastly, there is a lie that I asked them no to clean to save “big money.” This never happened. Yet, I will leave the lies at his door as he will have to account for them someday and they are not my responsibility. As I stated in my initial comment it is important to know who you are dealing with before you go into a contract with someone. For small jobs that don't matter this company may be okay but for important things they are not. Homeowners beware!)

I highly recommend this company if you are looking for fair pricing and timely service. I had called Cory to get quote on a few things I needed done around the home and he was very quick to answer and set up a time to come out. He was able to give me a quote on the spot and even pointed out some issues I missed that could be addressed if needed. The guys that came out to do the work were able to come two days earlier then schedule and they were timely, very professional and patient with us. They also had no issue explaining what they were doing and kept us inform. They asked our opinions on everything after they finished to make sure we were happy with the outcome. I am very happy with everything and will using this company for any future repairs that might pop up! Thank you guys for everything!

I called this company because some of the great reviews about Kenny and Corey. Corey came to the house to evaluate my situation. He fixed my gutter no charge. Wow I was impressed. He sent Kenny out to recaulk 5 of my windows. Wonderful job. I called him about a month ago to install a ceiling fan 25ft in the air. He said no problem we could do it. Now I will admit I only ha e Tuesday and Thursday and Friday avaliable. Corey said no problem we will get it done. He text me 1 day and said I'm sending the guys out to work. Then he text back and said I'm sorry I forgot it's not a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday. That was a month ago. I have called 2 times left 2 voice-mails and text 2 times no response. Cory Knows I have alot of jobs for them and he seemed nice and honest. Not sure why Premier Handyman Ghosted me. Paid my bill on time and never argued about it. Was excited to keep them coming. Thought I had found a company that was honest and good for a change.Service: General construction

I never leave reviews but had to after working w Premier Handyman. I highly recommend them. Corey the owner came out right away and gave us very fair estimates for both jobs. Ken and Chuck the repairmen were great. They came on time, were very pleasant and did great work. They cleaned up any mess left after completing the projects. Corey and his team were amazing! They arrived early, and since I was meeting them on my lunch break, I wasn't there to let them in to get started. While they waited, they were able to look at what I needed to replace the threshold of my 100 year old house, go get the materials and met me back at our original meeting time. This is the second time that Premier Handyman has completed work for me in the last 5 years. Ken and Deon perform excellent craftsmanship and are very punctual. They painted inside my house and Ken performed “magic” on three cast iron chairs by removing layers of old paint and repainting. I found the Premier handyman on Google While looking for someone to do some small projects on my home. Corey was very responsive, and immediately made an appointment for me to get it taken care of. He gave me a quote, and the guys came out, and were right on time (even a little early), and were courteous and professional. The jobs they did exceeded my expectations, were done quicker than expected AND came in under the quoted amount! Daryl especially was a really skilled worker, and had expertise that only an experienced handyman would’ve had. I was so pleased with my experience the first time, i decided to use them again! (And will again in the future.) This time it was Daryl and another handyman who came out, and they talked me through exactly what i wanted, and did it in less time than i had allotted for. Have had Corey do several projects. Hanging lights and ceiling fans, sheet rock repair, door installations, and tile installation. Charlie and Randy are great. The arrive on time ready to work, and work unsupervised. There is no wasted time, the workmanship is excellent and they clean up after the work is completed. The Premier Handyman is a company of the highest integrity and quality of work. Corey was very straight forward and honest in his estimate and started the job exactly when he promised. If there was ever to be a delay, even for weather related issues, he would always call ahead. During the job, Charles and crew were punctual, neat, and always put customer satisfaction first. In all three projects, the work was completed correctly, and any delays or changes were communicated extremely well by Cory. Over the past three months I have had two major projects completed by The Premier Handyman and extremely pleased with the results of both. The first project was an update to my garage. Patched Sheetrock holes, installed a new attic ladder, installed LED lights, paint, etc. The second project was a major overhaul of my guest bathroom. Jeff and Chad (who also completed the garage) did everything but tear out at the Sheetrock. New floor, toilet, vanity, vent fan, lights, wall cabinet, and lastly paint. Both jobs were executed well and on time. One of the best aspects of working with Corey and his team is that I know what things are going to cost before the project begins as the time estimated for completion as been spot on. With respect to the team, I found they were respectful of me, my property, timely, and responsive to all of my questions. In short, exceptional work for an exceptional price.
