I’m so pleased with my new windows. 18 in total, all installed in 1 day about 3 weeks earlier than anticipated. The crew did an excellent job, cleaned up afterwards and were very courteous.I chose Window World of Knoxville because they scheduled quickly for the initial visit to get measurements and give me a quote, unlike the other company I contacted who didn’t call back until 5 days later.I highly recommend them.

First of all ,we had a fast response on the first phone call we made to them. We were told a salesman would be out to talk to us. Scott M. came out and gave a price for new windows in our house. We agreed on four windows being installed. Scott told us the price would be in effect for 1 year. David was our installer, he was great at his job.He cleaned as he worked. David showed us all the details of the windows and how to use them. The windows were so much more than we thought they would be . We are very pleased with Window World.We recommend this company. Had about 9k of windows replaced on my 100year old house in 2020. Most all other quotes where 2x that amount. The sales team, the installers and now the warranty has proven to be very satisfactory. I had a rock go through one of the panes and it took about 10mins to order a new one. (time to take a picture and find the phone number took longer than it took to have the window ordered) The only downside is how long it will take to have the pane made but I do not think anyone is doing it faster these days. Wish every company ran such a tight ship.

We replaced all of the windows in our home during our whole house remodel. Window world came out within a couple of days for a quote. Our quote was done and our order was processed quickly and easily. Our order was delivered well before promised. The installers were professional, prompt and clean. Shout out to Window World, Steve Garland, Design Consultant. Steve came to the house and could have attempted to sell me far more than I needed. Instead, to his own financial disinterest, he recommended a glass replacement shop rather then replacing the entire encasement. Although Window World did not make money this round, I will remember the integrity, the honesty and the professionalism of Steve Garland. I highly recommend this reputable company!

My storm door broke due to wind. Called to inquire about the purchase and installation for a new one. They refused as it basically sounded like they didn't think that would be worth their time. Said they would only sell and install it if I would purchase another product as wellBizzare, but if you have a really big job I'm sure they'll take your money though!

Let me start by saying I bought windows through window world a few years ago and had a excellent experience with them, so when I saw they were selling gutters I thought great I'll use them again, That was a mistake. Scott M the salesman was great till the sale was final after that he never responded to text or phone call. The lady over " scheduling" was so rude and hateful, the installer was very nice and apologized for things out of his control. I really should call and ask about some things I think I'm paying for and didn't get but I just do not want to deal with the toxic attitude in that office. I do not recommend them ...

We ordered the windows at the start of the pandemic which played a role in their delay, but their poor workmanship, customer service and attitude of the owner, Claudia, is really what stands out about this experience. They didn't complete the paperwork which confused us and apparently their installer too, poor communication, and multiple mistakes made with measuring/ordering the windows that lead to a 14-month delay in job completion. I would never use this company again. The owner was insulting and emotionally volatile. She was unapologetic for any of their mistakes. They hide behind the "contract" since it provides no timeline for completion of work and allows them to damage your property without liability or even apology. The details are outlined below.We put in the order with Window World of Knoxville (WWK) on June 2, 2020. From the beginning WWK communicated that their manufacturer was running 3-4 months behind. We accepted this estimate of time with understanding and without concern.There were issues with receiving then scheduling the installation due to multiple factors throughout. The installer sent in November 2020 was only able to install one window and a sliding door, complained that the other windows weren't measured correctly, and damaged the alarm system because he said the paperwork he received didn't notify him appropriately. There is a box on the order sheet where the customer should initial that was not discussed with us for alarm systems. He recommended that we should call the office and discuss with the owners. He remeasured the windows. When I called in to discuss the damaged alarm system a lady named Sharon checked the paperwork and assured me that it was not noted in the consultation and was their fault for damaging it. She said she would discuss with the manager.In February another installer arrived with the new windows and found these were measured wrong too. He reviewed the paperwork and stated that he agreed that the paperwork was not adequately completed. He remeasured the windows.We did not hear from WWK until I called in May and again spoke with Sharon. She said she found that the order did not appear to be submitted from February and could not give a time frame for their arrival. I asked to cancel the remainder of the order. She said the owners were on vacation and would need their approval. Sharon recommended that I get an estimate of the damage to the alarm system and email it to her. She thought the owners may help cover the damage.WWK called in June 2021 (1+ year after placing the order) to set up the installation but they still didn't have the windows. I asked about the other problems with workmanship and the damaged alarm system. The ladies on the phone told me that Sharon had been terminated and didn't relay my messages. I asked to cancel the order again. They had me placed on hold for Claudia, the owner.Claudia answered the phone. I explained the issues and my disappointment in their service so far. Instead of being apologetic or even reasonable, I remain amazed by how quickly and childishly Claudia started hurling insults and outbursts, "WHY ARE YOU SO IMPATIENT?! WINDOWS ARE NOT LIFE OR DEATH!" "WE HAVE CUSTOMERS HERE THAT ARE DYING OF CANCER AND THEY'RE MORE PATIENT THAN YOU!" "EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES! I BET YOU MAKE MISTAKES TOO! DO WE TALK ABOUT YOURS? NO! ONLY ONE PERSON ON THIS EARTH WAS EVER PERFECT AND IT'S NOT YOU!" "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT A CONTRACT IS? WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE!" She said she was not responsible for anything her staff said to me before and couldn't verify it now due to them being terminated. She was completely unreasonable and I got nowhere. The co-owner was at least not emotionally volatile but still unapologetic.They canceled the next installation appointment in early July because the windows still weren't in.Today I am happy to say that we never have to see them again because they finally finished the job nearly 14 months later. The windows seem good quality, but you pay for them in other ways.Services: General door installation, Window installation

Zero stars really. They replaced windows in my home and did some siding. Windows seem ok so far. However the siding started coming apart. concerned that it may have been an issue other than the actual siding (termites perhaps) I removed the siding to see what was going on with that area of the house. Turns out window world used cardboard to install my siding which deteriorated and caused the siding to detach from the house. Spent weeks calling to have the "lifetime warranty" take care of the problem however when Mark the owner came out all he could say is that I removed the siding and it would cost too much to have his guys put it back on. Long story they never took care of the problem and I fixed it myself. So much for Life Time Warranty on $1000's in siding. Not reputable at all in my opinion.

I purchased double hung widows for my home. I was delighted for the professional installation and quality product.About 6 months later one of the widows wouldn't stay open. Window World scheduled a technician out to my home; a clip that broke was replaced. The technician was courteous and professional. Asked that the windows installed to match the others on the house. The color installed was completely different. When I asked they said they couldn’t match so they just picked a color. I don’t mind that they couldn’t match, I mind that I was not told they couldn’t match or let me choose the color. Steve said he just “picked a color he thought would look okay.” I have more windows to replace and will definitely not follow up with Window World. We contacted Window World after having two other contractors at our home that made us uncomfortable because of their pushy ways. From the our initial sales appointment all the way through the financing and installation, however with Window World was very professional and well-done. The contractors communicated with us on every detail about what they were doing and how long the job would take. When I had questions they were gracious and responded patiently. The work they did was excellent and if something was not to our liking they would immediately offer a remedy and fix it. We had full siding replaced on our detached garage and we also had storm doors installed on the front and back of our home. All craftsmanship was excellent. They also cleaned up their entire construction mess and did not leave a scrap of wood or siding! We are very impressed and will use them again for future contracting work of this nature. Our windows are nearing the one year mark and we continue to be very pleased with our decision to go with Window World of Knoxville. Everything was provided as it was promised and we've had no issues at all.I did have a question just today and a kind and knowledgeable lady in the Service department answered the phone within three rings and thoroughly answered my question.We could have spent more money on our windows by going with a different company but I'm not sure we would receive the same value in terms of both product and service.Very satisfied and looking forward to replacing a few more windows and doors in 2023. I reached out to Window World about having windows put in what was just a screened in porch. Brett came out the next day and measured for custom windows to fit the existing openings. He warned me about a potentially longer than normal wait time due to the issues with supply chain. The windows came in this week and the installers were here with them the next day. I would like to give 5 stars but unfortunately I just can’t. The prices can’t be beat and the windows are good quality. However, when they came to do the installation, the guy in charge (I guess?) told me the paneling for the windows wouldn’t match my soffits. I thought that was odd but told them to leave them off I guess since I didn’t want mismatched window panels. I thought it was weird that after coming out twice before installation no one mentioned that or made sure they had the right color, but mistakes happen I figured. So they left and where they removed the old paneling just looked awful. I sat on it for a few days but decided to call back and ask if it was too late to get the paneling. The lady who answered my call said it could be a while, but since I paid for it they would. It didn’t take too long, but the day they came out, the same “guy in charge” told me there’s nothing he loves doing more than working for free. It was pretty rude, I thought, but I still apologized and told him that I’d rather have the mismatched panels than exposed old wood. He was generally just rude and annoyed. Whatever we all have bad days. They get done and leave, and the panels are plain white and match perfectly? Why did he tell me they wouldn’t match? Did they just not want to do the work? Idk but it was less then stellar customer service, I definitely felt like a hassle more then a paying customer. So while I’m happy with my windows and my matching panels, the guy doing the installing isn’t great at communication and soured the experience for me. I’d still recommend them even with all that said, just maybe ask about the panels before they come out to do the install.Services: Vinyl window installation & replacement, Window installation

My salesman was Jason. He was laid back and professional. I went into the office asking questions before my purchase and they all were great. No one tried to sell me things I didn’t need or try to up the sale of anything. They were all fabulous! The crew that installed my windows were professional and knew what they were doing. They replaced 23 windows and a special circle top window in 2 days! I’m so happy with my windows! They look great and make a big difference compared to my old ones! I would highly recommend them and I am thankful my friend recommended them to me. You will NOT be dissatisfied with your product!

Window world came to my house to give me and estimate on glassing in my screened in porch. Their price was very competitive and the sales person was very quick to give me and estimate and made some great suggestions to improve the project at hand. The installers came out as scheduled and were very professional and friendly. They actually got you know you instead of just saying we are here to install your windows. They had my room done in half a day and left no mess behind. My windows are great and just what was promised from the beginning. I would recommend Window World to anyone and the gentlemen who installed them.

Once we ordered our windows the company did not keep us updated. I had to call multiple times for an update on delivery and to get on the schedule. Once they installed the windows they left broken glass, screws and nails everywhere. I was told I wouldn't have to do any clean up afterwards. They did not finish chalking the windows and left gaps in the seal. I had spoken to the receptionist and told her my concerns and she immediately got defensive and hateful. She took of a very small amount off my remaining bill but it'll cost me more to have someone else come finish sealing the windows. I let our contractor know about my issues with this company and they had stated that they are no longer recommending this company to their clients. Window World was the second business I contacted after a “major sticker shock”from the first company that I reached out to. Window World rep did not practice high pressure selling and was able to check off all the boxes for things I wanted in my new door for less!
