After noticing water damage on a portion of our ceiling, I called Cootes Farms Roofing to have them take a look at our roof for a possible leak. Steven is knowledgeable and professional, and told me that his crew would quickly contact me and would come to our house as soon as possible to look at our roof, and he was true to his word. Dale contacted me within the next few minutes to schedule an appointment time. Dale was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and did great quality work. He quickly identified the spot on the roof that needed to be repaired, and he fixed the roof very quickly. He took a photo of the spot on the roof that needed to be repaired, and he also looked at other parts of the roof around the spot he repaired to ensure there were no other spots that needed to be fixed. The gentleman that showed up, showed attention to detail that you don’t see much these days. He quickly assessed the situation, explained the cause and got to work. They are reasonably priced and don’t try to sell you on things that you don’t need. The price was as discussed on the phone and not a penny more. That is rare these days, in my experience. The fascia along the highest part of our roof blew halfway off on a windy day. It was hanging by a single nail, flapping around against the side of the house. If it had kept on it would have kept us up all night with worry and may well have eventually blown off and smashed into a window of our house, a passing car, or who knows what else. We called Cootes, and Dale was out to our house within a couple hours. He quickly got up on our roof and got the fascia secured back into place. Dale was friendly, respectful of our property, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I selected Cootes Farms Roofing to repair a significant leak in my roof. The entire process was fantastic! From the initial investigation of the problem, to the proposed solution and then the final work to repair the issue. Dale was great with communication throughout the process. Despite very cold weather and the threat of potential rain, the crew from Cootes was onsite to begin the work as promised. They were through and professional from the beginning of the work to the clean up of the debris. I highly recommend Cootes Farms Roofing for any project.

We paid a different vendor to replace our gutters and help with water runoff that was draining into our pool area. They undersized them and skimped on downspouts, then refused to fix them even after seeing videos of water pouring off the sides of the room.Cue CF Roofing. Dale came out to do a roof inspection and look at the gutters. He was on time, thorough, provided photos and made some recommendations. If he had told me that day that we had to replace our roof, I would have believed it and we would be down that road. Instead he was very honest and told me to do the gutters first and wait another year on the roof while we paid off some other projects. Honesty is hard to come by. His team replaced our gutters and did a great job, showed up on time, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely be calling them back for our roof install!

I worked with Dale at Cootes Farms for a standing seam metal roof for a new workshop we built in Nashville. He was always on time, extremely responsive and it was a great experience. The final product is top tier and was done quicker than expected at a competitive price. I originally wanted a non-standard color, which Dale thought he could do, but after encountering manufacturing limitations I ended up going with a more popular charcoal color. Dale was upfront and honest about why those limitations exist and what was outside his control, which is all that anyone can ask for. The product looks great, and I think looks better than what I originally wanted. Will definitely use them again if I ever have any roofing needs.Service: Roof installation

I had some wind damage during recent storms - tore off a segment of fascia of course from the highest gable. I was referred to C|F by the company who installed my roof several years ago. In less than 24 hrs the problem was fixed! I found the folks at C|F to be responsive and professional. I was given options on how the (minor) repair could be handled - from replacing the minimally damaged segment, to replacing it with a new segment, to upgrading the fascia on all the gables. I never got an "upsale" push and they recommended the first option. Very pleased with the result and with the process. HIGHLY recommend.

We have had a persistent leak in one spot on the roof of our new home (3 yrs old) that 2 other roofers did not fix properly. It was very frustrating to repair the drywall and paint after the leak kept recurring after heavy rain, but Dale correctly diagnosed the problem, patiently explained our options and got to work on the repair. I have waited through several storms to write a review to make sure the leak didn’t reappear, and the repair has held up perfectly!! Our paint and drywall still looks great, and we will always use Cootes Farms Roofing in future. C/F roofing is a class organization. Dale was responsive, was at my home one 48 hours, had great communication and did a great job. In business today it is hard to find a company who won’t take advantage of a customer. Either they over charge or tell you that you need more work done than is necessary. The inspector was super polite, and timely. My problem is that Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC would not provide an estimate for repair or replacement of a roof. I am taking my HOA to court for refusing to fix the roof over my unit; it has leaked an entire YEAR. So, I was wanting to tell the judge how much a roof repair (or replacement) might cost. I wanted this information from a professional.I paid $250 to Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC, for an inspection. They provided great pictures but will not provide an estimate of costs. Who does this? It just seems like something a roofing company would naturally be willing to provide upon an inspection. I do not understand why they refuse. They did mention something about possibly needing a specific license to do something, but they gave no referral, to assist me, in finding the right company who can help.What really bothers me is that Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC said they would tell my HOA what the costs might be. So why not tell me? Why is an estimate for the costs of repairing a roof classified? If you have to do business with Cootes Farms Roofing, LLC (or anyone probably) consider getting in writing, upfront, what services they will provide, and maybe even what services they refuse to provide.I will not consider using this company again. This was just a very bad experience. I got the sense that it was only about the money, and they did not care to assist me with what I needed. (I had the complete opposite experience with the company who did mold inspections. I'll be leaving that company a 5-star review but won't mention their name here.)

Steven has done a couple of things for me involving my roof. We had some minor wind damage affecting just a few shingles. He came out personally and made the repairs. Later we had a major storm and he and his crew replaced our entire roof. They were very professional and did an exceptional job. Contacted them after getting some roof damage from ice dams. They were very responsive and helpful. Set up an appointment for one of their roofers to check out the damage and give a quote. Very professional and explained in detail what they found and what would be needed for the repair. Had a quote by the next day. Scheduled the repair within a week. Arrived on time and ready to go. Work was completed in a professional and timely manner. Will definitely use them again if needed (hopefully not for storm damage).
