We bought our home from Stewart Knowles. This is a solid built house. We had a small drainage problem with our Driveway, and Stewart Knowles himself came out and assess the issue and had it fixed immediately without batting an eye. He is a stand up guy and if we ever buy another house, I promise it will be built by Stewart Knowles construction..

We are finding out slowly but surely all of the shortcuts the contractors who built this house took. We were lied to and misled by the employees and contractors hired by the company during our warranty period when we brought up issues. Some issues even putting our health at risk.We are now paying for all of these things and more out of pocket. We have been more than understanding and forgiving for some of the mistakes that were made, but enough is enough and I’m all about transparency and honesty.My advice is if any issues arise ask a third party what their diagnosis is instead of (or after) the ones sent out by the company. Definitely get an inspection before the year is up, because this is how we found out about a big one that had been ongoing and was told that maybe it was just some “electrical issue” and not to worry.We tried calling Stewart Knowles Construction and requested to speak to Stewart or have a callback. We wanted to let him know about some of the things we discovered later that we thought he would want to be aware of.We made this clear to the receptionist. However, I guess it wasn’t important to him, because we never received a callback.

They made every decision simple, easy and were attentive to every detail throughout building our home. I would HIGHLY recommend Stewart and his team to build your next home. We recently built our “forever home” with Stewart Knowles Construction, and we can’t speak highly enough of Stewart, Casey, Chet, and the crew!We began with a meeting about our favorite house plan choices, our wish list, and our budget. Stewart helped guide us into the perfect plan with a clear estimate, and we broke ground! Casey and Chet then met with us to start picking out all of the main specifics like exterior materials/colors, flooring, trim, etc. I was expecting this meeting to feel overwhelming, but they helped guide us again into the perfect choices. Throughout the next few months as the house was being built, Casey met with me to help pick out lighting, plumbing, paint colors, etc. She is the main reason that I kept my sanity throughout the build process.We only had a few small hiccups along the way, and I loved that Stewart and Chet were always quick to get things sorted out. Overall, the SKC team made the entire process much easier than we anticipated. We finished earlier than expected and under budget!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stewart Knowles Construction to any of our friends looking to build.

I’m a Realtor and I stumbled on the home I’m now living in while searching properties for a client. I bought a new construction home in Plantation South Subdivision from Stewart Knowles 3 years ago. Since just after the 1 year warranty went out I have had to repair the air-conditioning unit every year. I have now paid enough money in repairs that I could have bought a brand new unit (and should have). The repair man said this would continue to happen because the unit is cheap and it's junk. I thought that by buying a new home I wouldn't have problems like this for many years, I was very wrong!
