Purchased 130sqs of 1-1/2” snap lock standing seam 26 ga standing seam metal from JD Metals through ABC Supply in Charleston. The pic below shows the problem we are having less than 3 years later. JD Metals warranty is not a warranty backing up their product that they are more than happy to take your money from. Btw, we had nothing but problems with the order from day one. Their service is not good to say the least as we received nothing but excuses and delays for our order. Fortunately, the developer will be taking matters into their own hands and will soon file a lawsuit for the turning of the metal on a multi million dollar facility.

Buy the materials and have someone else build the building. Very hard to work with and Jd metals never step foot on the jobsite as the “Contractor”. Sub contractors they used were good but were uninformed before coming to the jobsite.

Asked for quote on wood frame bldg. Went to look at them. Very impressive showroom. Was told to come back and make appointment. Plenty of people there but no one to sign a contract or quote. I made another trip. Came back to make down payment. Was told my quote was for metal bldg. Told from start wanted wood. We'll have to give you another quote and can't do today. We'll let you know. Still no quote two weeks later. No apologies for my inconvience, no new quote, no sale. Bought from another company. What good is an impressive showroom without good service? Would never recommend.

State of the art facility.I got a very simple order. With all the employees here you'd think they could just give me my purchase. I could have carried it out the front door. But I had to wait in the back while they loaded a complete roof. While 4 employees watched one guy load a trailer. Great otherwise.

I reached out to JD Metals to get quoted for jobs I am bidding and was told by them that they cannot sell to me or quote me because I live within an hour from their store, even though I explicitly stated I’d pick up from their store. I’m highly disappointed with the poor customer service and I am absolutely stunned that they would turn away a customer and refuse to sell.

We bought the metal for our new roof here.Prices are great and the staff were very nice. The place is very clean and organized. They have samples for you to take home and compare colors. Any tools needed to install the roof is available here in the store front. It took them about 2 days to cut and prepare the metal for pickup. One of the employees help stack and load the metal on my trailer also they let you pull your vehicle inside the building so you can load out of the weather. This place is awesome and will buy any future metal here.

Colt Reaves at JD Metals is excellent to do business with. He and the staff are always so nice and helpful. Their facility is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The quality of their products and prices are second to none. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called today to get a quote for a post steel building materials package. I asked if he could email me the price and the details of what came with the package. He said he could not give any quantities and details of materials until I give a 50% deposit. Sounds like buying a pig in a poke. Who does business this way?

Ordered metal roofing at 13.2 in person - called a few hours later to change to 13.3 - OK, they delivered 13.2 - when I told the sales rep he said he knew they could not change the order but failed to tell me before - no apology nothing to make it right - Thanks JD Metals
