Brian Gilday is a treasure (As is all of Gilday Construction Group). I will write a more detailed review (all good) when I have the free time to do justice to their consciousness, work quality, and work ethic.In short, my project was anything but ordinary. I chose to re-roof and re-clad a multi-million dollar home in almost 100% Corten A606-4 standing seam 22G rapidly oxidizing steel (Google pictures if you are not familiar with this material).Very few GC’s will touch it due to its tricky installation process (especially the cladding installation and associated oxidation / reduction issues involved). Gilday was the singular exception and they gave it 110% - with a distinctive and beautiful look.In addition, I wanted every piece of casement clad in 20G copper. This consisted of tons of custom fabrication (all new wood casement, custom high temperature water shield wraps, and custom copper breaks). They framed all windows, doors, garage, etc. There were dozens of custom casements. As far as I can determine, this had never been done, anywhere, before. Brian Gilday (and his brothers, Mark and Steven) ended up executing these details flawlessly.We then installed 100% copper box gutters, downspouts, and flashing to tie everything together.I have spent 40 years doing nothing but designing, constructing, and operating hundreds of restaurants, hotels, and resorts (e.g., Johnny Rockets Group, Intercontinental Hotel Group, PLC London, Private Equity backed investments, etc.). This is not my first rodeo. Speaking to retail consumers, architects, and other GC’s, if you have a unique project that requires lots of on -site supervision (Brian was there almost every day - and reachable 24-7), Gilday is the only Group I can recommend in all of central Tennessee.

Very happy with the service provided by Gilday in a recent roof repair. They were able to quickly identify the problem, provide a quote same-day, give an ETA for service repair, and were on time and successful. Time will tell on how long the repair lasts, but my confidence is high.The initial communication. Was slow. Called on a Tuesday and it was Saturday before they could arrive and that q was to provide an estimate (not repairs). However Paul grabbed a ladder and applied interim repairs to protect our home until the full service date. Their continued communication and service from them on was terrific. Gilday Construction has done a couple of projects for us including gutter repair, new gutters and replacing our windows. All of the work has been completed at a high quality level and I think a fair price. My biggest concerns are having the work done properly and by someone I can trust to be around my home and family (I have 4 children and often work out of town). I would leave my kids with Brian Gilday for the weekend without hesitation. You won’t find more honest kind folks out there. We just had our roof replaced by Gilday. Steven is who we used through the process. I would highly recommend him. It took 4 months to get my roof approved by insurance and Steven was awesome to work with. He continued to follow up with me and send the insurance company everything needed to get it covered. Gilday worked with us to dismantle a carport in downtown Murfreesboro. They did a fantastic job with us - scheduled it in advance, showed up on time, Paul Willson was there every step of the way, keeping us informed. They estimated it as a one-day job. In at 8:00 am and out at 4:00 Pm. And they left it better than they found it - clean, raked, no nails in driveway. Excellent experience!

Replaced our front porch with gorgeous Trek. So beautiful! There were issues that arose (drainage issues that needed to be alleviated) and what was so wonderful is that when presented with these underlying issues, Mark Gilday already had a plan ready to present to us. We are repeat customers and I love the details that go into every single thing they do. We also had asked for a couple of boards on a deck to be replaced and they discovered wood rot, and practically redid the entire deck. Always above and beyond any expectations I might have. We are using Gilday Construction for some remodeling on our home. They have put a new roof and also a front porch (that did not exist before) on our house. Stephanie has been so friendly, very responsive and great to work with. She has consistently stayed in touch and given us updates weekly. We have incurred some unfortunate weather throughout this process but Stephanie has been great keeping us up to date on when someone would be out next. One day they were even out working in the rain to get things finished up. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof, siding, decks, indoor or outdoor living. For years we had been dealing with gutters that leaked and didn't adequately handle the run-off from our roof. Brian came out and was able to identify the problem areas and provide very cost effective solutions. His installer was both professional and personable. His attention to detail was refreshing - he made sure to walk the perimeter of my house and remove any trace of construction debris from my flower beds, etc. I also appreciated that Brian scheduled and came out for a follow-up after it rained just to make sure the gutters were functioning properly and that were were happy with them. We were delighted at how quickly they replaced our roof. Mark and his team got to our house right when they said they would and went straight to work. Boom, boom and the job was done. My husband thought it would take much longer and was very glad it didn't. Mark estimated the time perfectly. When I got home from work that day you could not tell they had even been there except for our beautiful new roof. No debris on the lawn and nothing out of place. After looking things up he emailed me the estimate of cost along with details as to why the cost and then waited for my approval, which I could submit by email. We had to get an entire new roof and Gilday Construction Group was recommended. I called and talk to Mr. Brian Gilday and was setup with a free onsite estimate with days of my call. Mrs. Stephanie Mayfield who was our Rep and gave all the info we needed, which was very easy to understand and we scheduled the following week!!Now let tell you that the roofing crew was awesome and got things done in one day! And I got the prettiest roof in the neighborhood!! But the experience with Brian and Stephanie was great, they hung out with us(6ft apart), got to meet family, and they got eggs from The Holler Chicks!! Also the roofing crew got eggs too. They helped beautify our house "Down In The Holler"! I highly recommend Gilday Construction Group for all your home exterior needs!!

I can't say enough good things about working with Steven. In a time where it is difficult to get anyone to return a phone call or even get someone to come give a quote, he always answered my calls and got me answers quickly. We live in Fairview, TN and it is hard to get anyone to come to my side of town but they did and I am very pleased with the work completed so far. They have replaced our gutters and are getting ready to help build a pool house for us. SO excited!! I highly recommend calling them for any construction needs you may have!

I have hired Mark Gilday on two separate occasions. Needless to say I was very pleased with his work. He has never told me "that can't be done". He has considered my requests as a challenge and has found a solution. Often the final result is better than what I had imagined. He keeps me advised on the status and the costs of the work.
