Choosing K & L Contractors was one of the largest and most expensive mistakes that I ever made. From the beginning there were issues that Ken took no responsibilty for. Profit was their highest priority. The foreman for the project was non-existent and incompetent. The final project was totally outside the budget and timeline. Working with Ken Hawkins at K & L Contractors as the General Contractor was like looking in the mirror....he gave me back what I gave him. I hear horror stories from friends who had a bad experience with their contractor...and after listening to the friend for a few minutes...it became evident the problem was not the contractor....
