5 years and $30k later we are still fixing the mistakes they left behind! They didn’t put a drain seal in the master shower (which was not used for 4.5 years since 94 year old grandma had that room and took bird baths) that we just learned was leaking and now we get to replace out entire master bathroom due to water damage!

We hired Pankratz to provide an estimate on some work needed on a house my wife and I are purchasing. They sent Jesse to help us. He did lazy work and wouldn't communicate with us. We extended our inspection period to have time to talk to him about what he saw, but he refused to speak with me and was very rude to my wife for the brief phone call they had. She asked that he speak with me, I left messages on his phone and in the office, and my realtor asked that he speak with me, and I still have not received a phone call from Jesse, several days later. As a result, we have no estimate to work with as we negotiate the price on the house. I told them the timeline we had to work with and I have been ignored time and again. Normally when I review I try to give since positive feedback as well, but I have none from my experience thus far with Pankratz.

The son is insanely arrogant assuming they are the only business in town. For those of you that don’t know, this is the same family as Ed shore. The notoriously dirty builder of Blount County. I highly recommend looking around for someone else to do business with. You’re welcomeSusan 😂

We hired a division of Pankratz Construction, PC Restoratios, to do repairs on our home after a fire. The work we received was substandard, the paint and materials was of poor quality, the contractors took twice as long as necessary to do the job, and a lot of our stuff that was put into their storage facility cam up missing and was never returned, and only a portion of the total value was offered. I would not recommend this company or their subsidiaries to anyone, except to tell them buyer beware.

We LOVE Pankratz!! Working with Jerry King & Billy Clemmer has been a real pleasure! We are very, very happy & excited to be living in our Pankratz home. It is our dream home & incredibly beautiful in our opinion. It was the answer to prayers for a new home in Maryville after living in a home we loved in Huntsville, AL for 27 years. It exceeds our expectations!!

Pankratz homes are the new name for the "shore shack". Bought one 2 years ago and it has become a money pit. Have had to get numerous things repaired and replaced. The owner, Jason P., is a complete ass. DO yourself a favor, spend a few extra dollars and buy a REAL home.

Replaced our roof eight years ago. Nails came through our interior roof because they used the wrong sized nails. We have since had to repair our roof twice.
