We were desperate when we called as our slide would not retract causing us to become immobile. The owner was upfront with pricing and patient as can be! Once we realized he was too far away, he still offered us on-phone assistance. He even sent us manuals for the slides which the dealer couldn’t do. Thanks to Lightning’s generous help, we were able to get the slide pulled in and on our way to St Louis!!! 100% recommend!!

While traveling through Tennessee from Texas we experienced what we thought to be a bearing issue on our RV. We called Bob at Lightening mobile RV service. Bob came the next morning and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem which turned out to be a issue with the brakes. He was very reponsive and kept us updated on his time of arrival and spent time with us showing us the problem before efficiently performing the repair. Bob saved the day and our road trip. Highly recommend.

"DO. NOT USE"HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEYI called tot have an awning replaced and Mr. Walker came and removed the damaged awning he asked for half payment to cover the cost of a new one. I gave him just over 1100 dollars. He said it would be two weeks. After about a week he text and said the arms were in and he was waiting on the tube and it would be there in a week. Fast forward a week and a half nothing. I called and sent several texts with no responce. After threats of legal action he sent a text saying his wife was sick and he would get to me the following week. Well here we are once again with no responce to calls or text. Well now i have to talk to my local DA and seek legal actions. I gave him several chances to to right but he has not contacted me or responded to text. Beware of this company..

Repair of RV hub and axle repair. Bob Walker and his helper Brent came to our rescue when we lost the wheel/hub assembly off of our 5th wheel camper. He spent extraordinary amount time and expertise repairing and assembling our rig and getting us back on the road to Gulf Shores. I was having air conditioning problems with my 5th wheel. Also my breaker was continuing to blow. Bob came out and fixed everything I needed him to repair. Bob took my $500 and my damaged fresh tank to get me a new one. He hasn’t delivered after two and a half months. At this point he has stopped returning my calls and texts and so I am engaging my lawyer. My trailer is in pieces.Update: Bob has contacted me to work it out. We’ll see how it goes.

I would give Bob 10 stars if I could. We had an issue with our large slide in our fiver not moving making being in our trailer nearly impossible. I called Bob at 2:30 on a Saturday. He was on another job but promised he’d be to us asap. He arrived around 7:45. What we all thought was a simple problem with the relay turned out to be much worse. The piston that runs the slide had lost the nut that held held it to the bracket under the cloroplastic. Bob didn’t give up and worked on it for 3 hours knowing we are on a cross country trip and needed to be on the road early in the morning. He traveled 1.5 hours to get to us, worked on the rig for 3 hours then needed to go the 1.5 hours home. The price he charged us was way beyond fair and probably worth twice as much. We are back on the road thanks to Bob. We couldn’t be happier. Forever grateful for people like Bob.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical

The auto leveling jacks on our RV needed repair due to the fluid leaking out. Bob came to our campsite, diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repairs. He was very respectful and did an excellent job. We highly recommend him.

Called Bob About 1 pm after finding a busted leaf spring when I pulled into a truck stop. After getting him some measurements he finally was able to pick up the new spring and arrived several hours later. He did take a little longer then I hoped to get to us but he kept me informed as to his status. When he did arrive he was able to put the new spring on. I would defiantly use him again he seemed extremely knowable and did not over price me on the job.Service: Steering & suspension repair

In our RV we had a blow out on the way to a ATV race at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. It damaged a lot of the wiring and lights, appliances, etc were not working. Bob came out to the track late and stayed for hours to fix everything. We were so thankful to have everything working again. He was very knowledgeable and did top notch work. Highly highly recommend!

Heater went out on a Saturday. Made appointment online for service on Monday. Within an hour of making the online appointment, we received a call from Bob Walker, who said he would get to us the same day. A Saturday afternoon. Bob was very kind. Fixed our heat and gave several hints on other issues.We would have been very cold without our heat. It got down to 27 degrees last night. We are very pleased with the service we received and will be using Lighting Mobile RV service, if we have an issue, in the future.

We arrived at Natchez Trace camp ground with burned up wheel bearings that had damaged the spindle. After calling Lightning RV Service, Bob came to our location to make the repair. He had to make two trips to find the correct parts but stayed until 11:00 pm to complete the job as we had a medical emergency back home. Bob went the extra mile so we could get home quickly . Our converter was blown. I scheduled an appointment online and called the next day just to confirm. Bob came out and knew exactly what the problem was. He also checked out my dad's rv and found the problem with his. Bob ordered the part and when it came in he came out that day and fixed both rvs. The heat was intense but he worked right through. Bob is knowledgable, kind, and has fair prices.

I called lightning RV and set up an appointment for Saturday. I was told that he would call me on Friday and make sure it was still a go . I said yes that I had taken off Saturday morning. He wanted to do the work at noon on Saturday and that wouldn't work so he said I'll just come tonight. We agreed. He then backed out and wanted to do it Saturday morning early as in 8am . When he didn't show I started calling with no answer and text. He finally said it will be a lil later 10am . He didn't show . Then he said 3 or so . Still no show . After many many calls and texts he said he got hung up all day . Trust me YOU are not priority to him . Long story short I will never recommend this company to anyone. We contracted with him in November to replace the back wall of our camper that had water damage. We paid 1/2 of the amount of the quote, and the contracted stated that once the materials came in, it would be a 2-3 day job. The material came in in November, and he removed the back wall of the camper and took to his home to repair it. It is now April, and after months of us calling, asking for updates, texting, etc, and getting told it would be ready “by the end of the week” multiple weeks in a row, he is now not responding to any of our communication. The back wall of our camper is still removed, he still has it, and he put a piece of plastic up when he removed the wall months ago. We already paid him, and not only did he not do the work, but now we can’t even use the camper, move it, or sell it. Absolutely unbelievable.Service: Body & Trim

Bob over booked himself and did not show on first appointment.Second appointment he was almost 2 hours late without informing me until I kept calling him.He diagnosed leaking reservoir and a battery wire issue...removed reservoir and said he thought he could fix it and test it out and if it could not hold pressure he would order a new one for $250 and return following week if he did NOT have to order the part....I made many inquired about next appointment... little to no communication...til finally he said “I fixed will bring it when he could find time... too busy” 2 weeks later third appointment he was LATE 10 1/2 hours ...he says he will come at 8 am... I took off work and waited til their arrival at 6:30pm (not 8am)...they did not even come to my door or give apology or explanation just started work in my RV...the reservoir had not been tested as he said in fact it blew another hole... yet he said he repaired no need to order new part...it grew dark and by 9:30pm... they had to quit after reving my RV and getting it stuck... they caught the battery on 🔥 fire ...they left tools, lost tools, he yelled at me and threw a tool down when I said it’s getting late can you just come back besides I think we need to just get a new tank.They left saying saying he would send his employee Andrew to finish the job....matters got worse and RV is now without a tank due they damaged it and not responding to my messages...they should change their name cause lightning does not fit...he thinks I should pay for the job they did NOT DO...thou I paid 1/2 for the half done job and I still WAIT for the job to be finished or do I report my tank stolen since they got it????😠😡😡In reply to NON payment let’s just say NOTHING FOR NOTHING (yet I did give you a check for half the job not done right thou)...you yourself said let me get the job done right before you pay me after I paid you a check for job 1/2 done ....It still does not answers why such poor Timely service with no explanations nor apologies/accountability or follow ups to make it right.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

AMAZING SERVICE!!! We had a problem with our electrical outlets and the dealership would not be able to get it in until late March, but we needed it done ASAP. We googled “mobile rv repairs” and found Lighting Mobile Repair, I called about 2:45pm that afternoon and explained the problems we were having and without hesitation he said that he would come out that night, I was shocked, I figured it would at least be a few days. Let me add they are located in Medina, TN and we are in Marion, AR which is a bit of a drive, at least 2 hours if not more. He arrived around 6:40pm and literally worked until about 9pm, he figured out the problem and we are ready to go. I highly recommend this business to anyone, amazing service, very friendly and very fast. Ohh and how could I forget, this biggest part, he didn’t break us, he had very reasonable price.THEY WILL FOREVER BE OUR GO TO WITH ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS !!!Thank you so much! I called him on April 26th and asked if he serviced the Kennett Missouri area. And he said yes I explained to him dat my a/c on my rv wasn't cooling so he came all the way to Kennett Missouri.. I thought it was the unit but no all it needed was cleaning. Now it cools like new again. He does a good job and the price was reasonable. He was very responsive and professional. We called him when we couldn't get our slide to open. He explained that the slide needs to come out to be repaired. He did everything he could but couldnt complete the job in a single visit. He secured it so we could get home and only charged us for part of the time he worked on it.
