Back in February, had some pipes break, and initially went with another contractor for repairs. After months of the other contractor giving us the run around our insurance agent recommended this company to us.Night and day difference, Brandon reached out repeatedly, verified all work completed well and correct. Even with some issues that pulled him away, he still made ever effort to keep us informed and on track.The repairs were made, we had almost our entire downstairs hard wood floors replaced, holes in walls patched, toilet reset, walls painted, and door replaced. I needed my screened in porch rebuilt. Whoever did the work before did a poor job, so I needed the whole thing torn down and built from scratch. Jacco was recommended by my insurance company. The owner, Earl, seemed to know what he was talking about. He and a few of his other workers came out several times to look at the job. I got an estimate, which was fair, but due to the work, some adjustments to the estimate needed to be made. We have yet to agree on a price or start date due to the lack of having a complete estimate and the untimely response time of the contractors. Not unhappy with Earl, but his other employees involved in this process have yet to contact me again or show up when promised. Now I have wasted months of my time without getting the work done. So, I have to start all over again and find someone else who is supposedly reliable. I have been very patient and have excersiced understanding and I feel I have been strung along and treated unprofessionally. If they couldn't do the work, they should have said so, so I could find someone who can and be done by now.

Mr Earl and Jackie did a amazing job on a major fire repair to my house. Words cannot describe their work. I am so glad I didn't use the company my insurance was pushing. They went beyond my expectations. My house looks like a HG TV house now. Earl Jackson, Brandon and his crew are absolutely wonderful, to work with. I had an ongoing water leak and Earl was persistent and insistent in waiting until we were absolutely sure where the water was coming from, which was key, because it was my second go round with the same leak. I previously used another General Contractor, which was a nighmare from start to finish.Brandon led the project, with the many different people, who worked on the house. Flooring, hardwood floors and tile, cabinets, A/C, plumbing, electricians, furniture move out, prep and cleaning crew, the list goes on and on. Brandon handled the job with professionalism and always a smile and friendly attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile. They took pride in their work, each and every one of them, which is very hard to find these days.I wouldn't work with anyone else. I recommend them to EVERYBODY. Unfortunately, my son is also dealing with an ongoing water leak, with excessive mold issues and Jac Co is also handling their claim.I am thankful and grateful for finding them and the ability to work with them through such a large project. Earl worked very well with the insurance company and even put his foot down with additional issues he saw, that the agent did not. I can't thank him enough.BUT... THIS DIDN'T LAST LONG... WITHIN A YEAR, when the wood floor started popping and creaking all over the place, they have refused to take any responsibility. None of this was going on prior to them replacing the wood floor. They are waiting out the 5 year warranty. BEWARE!

My sunroom had water damage from the snow storm of February 2021. The insurance company gave me several companies for the work. I selected Jac-Co Construction and I'm glad I did. The workers were on time and professional. They did a fantastic job removing the old paneling and drywall to check for mold. service was great swift and fast until i was sent a notice from the company that state farm didnt pay their half of the bill which isnt the brunt of my problem at all and not jac-co's fault as well my problem is their is still a leak in my parents bedroom idk if its a roof issue which was suppose to be fixed months ago when they came around march/april id have to check my claim for a more specific date but as of 8/9/23 the roof or where the plate was swapped out and replaced for the fan has leaked again idk who's gonna fix it this time but im contacting state farm again and can't to get this nightmare house out of my hands thanks for fixing my dining and kitchen area but maybe the fan swap damaged the previous work

I found their choice of sub-contractors quite good. The plumbing sub and the tile sub both were very good. They do seem to have some internal communication issues in their scheduling area, but my overall experience was very good. Each group did a good job and were polite and courteous. I have been quite satisfied with them and would recommend them to friends.

Good Morning and I appreciate your response. Insurance is never a joy to work with, but I was also disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in your estimate. i.e. 116 to haul the debris for the the limb that broke the fence does not include addressing the fallen white oak that ripped another portion of the fence (or putting in fill dirt for the posts). Additionally, the type of shingle on the shed is discontinued, and cannot be repaired as the estimate indicates. Hope you have a wonderful day though.

We had roof and ceiling damage from the recent ice storm. Our insurance company called Jac-Co and someone was out within the hour to put a tarp on our roof to prevent further damage. Mike and his men were professional, able and pleasant in repairing the damage, both inside and out. A large tree fell on our house at midnight and did some serious damage, but no one hurt fortunately. We called State Farm and they asked if we wanted to select a contractor to handle our repairs or participate in the State Farm Premier Service Contractor Services Program. We chose to let State Farm handle and we are so glad we did.Mr. Earl Jackson of Jac-Co Construction arrived early and on time the following morning with a tree removal crew who got the tree off our house in record time, removed all debris and even replaced several mature azaleas which were damaged.Mr. Jackson very patiently explained how he would communicate directly with the State Farm claims Adjustor and our State Farm agent and keep us informed of all the details. And he did throughout our project!Once Earl Jackson and the SF Claims Adjustor completed inspection of all damages and agreed to the details of all repairs required, they both reviewed these details with me and my wife. However, the next day Mr. Jackson noticed a crack in a two story brick wall. The SF Claims Adjustor agreed to call in an engineer. The engineer agreed, this brick wall would have to be replaced for safety reasons.And this was typical of the attention to details during our entire project to completion.It was necessary for us to be in a hotel for several weeks, but Mr. Jackson kept me informed of their progress by cell phone and text messages. I felt completely comfortable continuing to go to work each day, but my wife and I were welcome to visit the project whenever we wanted. All the sub-contractors did a great job, were very pleasant and offered to assist my wife and me whenever asked.Jac-co Construction gets 5 stars from us and our neighbors as well!Services: Roofing, Painting

Do not use this company. In 2014 they made repairs after a sewage flood in my basement. A year later the paint started to peel. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I HAVE A BAD WIRING IN MY HOUSE THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT BEFORE I MOVED IN. NO ONE TOLD ME. IT COSTED MY LIGHTBILL TO SHOOT UP 1,000 FROM A $200 LIGHTBILL. FOUND OUT AFTER I MOVED THAT THEY HAVE THE HOUSE ON THE MARKET FOR SALE AND NO ONE TOLD ME. I CAN'T WASH AND DRY AT THE SAME TIME WITHOUT THE LIGHTS POPPING OFF AND THAT HAPPENS AT LEAST 10 TIMES A DAY. SOMETIMES THE LIGHTS WILL JUST CUT OFF FOR NO REASON. I HAVE TO GO TO THE BREAKER BOX EVERYTIME THE LIGHTS CUTS OFF BUT ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE RENT WHICH I'M USUALLY NEVER LATE. I HAVE 5 CHILDREN IN THE HOME WITH ME AS WELL. AIR CONDITIONING GOES OUT AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH. I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE SO I'M GOING TO MOVE ASAP WHERE I'M APPRECIATED.
