I would advise you not to use Morris General for anything. It's been over 5 months for us and Morris General is behind and keep making excuses about completing sub projects for our church. The subcontractors are complaining about not being paid. It's a fiasco! Don't be fooled by his personality and his laughter. This company did not service us well at all.

I contracted with Morris Construction in March, 2023 for a remodel job that should have taken 6-8 weeks. It is now 2 yrs later and I'm still not in my home, mainly because I found out that Bob did not get proper approval for electrical, plumbing and framing so now I'm out of over $90K and my place sits unfinished and non-compliant to city code. He says he's going to make it right, but NEVER comes through. I'm 66 yrs old and have used much of my retirement to get this done. But Bob keeps making excuses. He blames everyone but himself. Where is his customer satisfaction promise now? Run, run, run. DO NOT use this company for anything.Service: Remodeling

Bob comes across as one of the nicest guys around & maybe he is but his work, communication, and follow thru deserve minus 5 stars. He won't comply with code enforcement, fire marshal, state of MS, home owner, no one. The only thing Bob did in earnest was take about $90k of our money for a project we can't get a letter of occupancy on. Nothing moves this guy to do the right thing whether that is litigation or breach of contract. Its been two years and nothing is complete. Even some of the work he did do is coming apart so the quality of his work is not good. Plus, Bob runs through sub-contractor like a water bucket with a hole in the bottom. May God have mercy on him and whoever else decides to do business with Morris Construction. I would be more than happy to retract this post if he makes good on what he was contracted to do in the first place...which is his job!Services: Home renovations, Paint indoors, General building construction, Drywall installation, Home addition construction, Concrete pouring, Masonry installation

What can I say? Bob came to my rescue when nobody did!I had a leak in a wall that caused not only a lot of water damage, but also mold.After I talked to Bob, he went to the house, and stopped the leak.This job ended up being much more than expected due to the water and mold damage, but Bob stayed on top of it, and kept me informed of each and every step, as well as of any unforeseen issues, one of which was not always finding the materials due to the covid19 shortage.But at the end, the job was done to my satisfaction, and I couldn't be happier!I highly recommend Morris General!

The worst company that I've ever dealt with in Memphis!! Their work was horrible. Please run now and save your money. Bob the builder would do a better job and he's a cartoon.
