Dowell Roofing was awesome to work with. Mr. Dowell quickly came out to my house to look at my roofing problem. He provided a more expensive option but also a more economical option for the repairs. His team was great to work with and took great care in keeping the work area clean and safe. Mr. Dowell personally came out to inspect the work once it was complete and even climbed up on the ladder to add some extra protection. I would HIGHLY recommend using Dowell Roofing for any roofing needs and they will definitely be my first call for any future roofing install/repairs.

I needed an attic fan installed on my roof. Vince C called me to ask for a good time to come out. He was very patient as my schedule fluctuates. He came when we set a date/time. He did a great job installing the fan. He made sure everything worked properly. He sealed the roof for any leaks around the fan. He was professional and courteous.

NOTE:It was almost this time last year that HURRICANE IAN hit our second home in S.W. Florida. ( Sept. 28th 2022) , I called Joseph Dowell (who has been roofing all of my rental houses for me for over the past 30 years) and I asked him if he would consider helping us with our home in Florida from hurrican Ian that destroyed the majority of our home.He did not hesitate!His guys drove over 12 hours to get there from TN with all their supplies etc.... to roof our home from futher damage!Words cannot describe how "Greatful" we were for this company to help us out in our time of need. This is truly a company that goes above and beyond to help their clients!I would NEVER think of using anyone else.They are truly a blessing to us and always will be. I hired Dowell to make a repair on my roof where there was a transition from one roof to another and it had been leaking for a while. One of his guys did the repair by himself over the coarse of a few partial days.There is no such thing as a good price these days, but given the market at the time the price was fair.After waiting for several good rains to test the roof, I am happy that it does not leak.The gentleman who did the job, William, was a very courteous man. He let me know of his comings and goings and he showed me what he was doing.I’m happy to give Dowell Roofing a great review, I highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

Had some issues with some roof shingles coming loose when we bought the house. Called Dowell roofing. Vince and his partner came out and was able to match the shingles exactly. They replaced the entire front section. They did great work and were very professional. Cleaned everything up afterward as well. My new roof is very beautiful and I'm sure it'll stay that way for some time! Dowell and his crew did an excellent job on my roof and a superb job on the cleanup. Honestly, I've never had anyone be so thorough in removal of waste, even running magnets all over to make sure no nails were left behind.Before the roofers even arrived, the correspondence was quick and professional and I knew when to expect them (first in generalities, which is fine because your job depends on days with very little or no rain!) And then exactly when they'd arrive once we got closer.Why only 4 stars then? I need to make sure I am honest about my experience and their capabilities. I have LeafGuard gutters, which are different from normal gutters. I never heard anything about the roofers being unfamiliar with or unable to work with these gutters until my drip rail wasn't fully replaced (as the estimate had said) and we called because it appeared to have been damaged.The owner did provide me a partial refund to have LeafGuard fix the issue, but it did take some back and forth and could have been avoided on the front end with a conversation on what could and couldn't be done. I don't think the actual crew has seen the gutters before and may not have realized they bent up the rails they were going to be leaving on. I'm sure they are accustomed to normal gutters, so I get it. I've seen roofs they've done before, and they are all beautiful and quickly executed!I would recommend Dowell but definitely have a conversation if you have LeafGuard gutters.

Dowell Roofing replaced our asphalt roof on our home and garage. The crew was on time, courteous and they did professional work and really took time to do the job correctly. Really took care to cover our vegetation and yard from debris and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a roof replaced or repaired they are the ones to do the job. The price was the best we received and believe we got more than we paid for with the extras the workers did to repair and replace our roofs, they even fixed one of our gutters. Can’t tell you how happy we are with the work done. We have had many cites t workers do work at our home and this the best we have ever had to do work for us. Dowell Roofing is the best in the business. Honest, straightforward, professional, all while delivering the highest quality work.I first used them after having a storm chaser (didn’t know that at the time) replaced my roof and I lost a few shingles. Joseph came out and did a thorough inspection and found that the other roofer had missed the nail strip on the entire back of the house. They fixed it for a very reasonable fee. He also found that they’d put an impermeable barrier in two dead valleys, then drove nails through the barrier. Joseph fixed that as well as adding some missing flashing. On time, explained everything thoroughly, and gave me a fair quote. What he quotes is what you will pay. No games with Dowell. Honest as the day is long.I’ve had a couple of other minor repairs and whether it was Joseph or Jason doing the work, it was always the same. Friendly, asked good questions, answered all of my questions, and when they were done, I KNEW that they were done.Most recently they installed a solar attic fan for us. Because of some bad weather and our non-emergency status we were down the list, but they came when they said that they would and did an outstanding job. Eric did the work this time. He’s just like the others: friendly, thorough, and quick to get the work done. Eric has been doing roofing almost half his life and it shows. He was very systematic. This fan was not a brand that they had used before (I bought it elsewhere because of a substantial Veteran’s discount), so he read the instructions before he started work. Don’t know how many of these he’s done and he probably could have installed it without the instructions, but he read them just to be sure that there weren’t any tricks he needed to know.If you need roofing done, call Dowell. Alex was great at letting me know what access he needed.03. Afterwards, Mr. Dowell inspected the roof the same day it was completed.04. He explained how warranties work with the materials that the manufactures offer.05. Most importantly, if I have any issues with the installation workmanship, to contact him so he can make it right. Great service! Called one afternoon and Mr. Dowell was out and finished the job the next day for a very reasonable price. It was just a small job of putting new covers on and re-sealing the plumbing boots, but we needed it done quickly after a home inspection to get everything done before closing. I looked up one morning at our ceiling and noticed watermarks. I called Dowell Roofing based off a google search and spoke with Joseph, the owner. He took my information and said he would try to have someone out the same day to take a look. I Received a call later in the day from Jason to let me know he was on his way. We realized our home had lost some shingles. Jason quoted me the price, got up and repaired the area (we had new shingles available) and checked the roof for any other damage. Dowell Roofing did an excellent job on our roof! We had 2 problem areas. One of the areas had rotten wood around our skylight and the other area had a leak. We always try to get at least 3 quotes from different companies. After getting a few quotes on a new roof, Mr. Dowell told us we still had 5 to 10 life on our existing roof if we wanted that option! We were excited to only pay a few hundred dollars to repair our roof. We can now save for a new roof in the future. Thanks for your honesty Mr. Dowell!
