Jensen Quality Homes is one of the best builders in Murfreesboro! Chris and his team are top notch, and I would suggest them to anyone wanting to build a new custom home. Their virtual reality company “White Branch” is also some of the coolest virtual blueprint technology I have ever seen. Being able to import your 2D plans into a 3D VR system you’re literally able to walk around your whole house before it’s built, and make changes before hammers start swinging. If my customers wanted it, I would use them for remodels and additions in a heartbeat!

We moved into our home built by Steve and Chris Jensen in September 2021. We chose the Jensen’s after some friends of ours used them for a custom home build and recommended them highly. While we had spoken with a few other builders, we felt the most comfortable with Jensen Quality Homes, and did not regret it.We enjoyed the homebuilding process itself, as well as working with Steve and Chris. Everything from the initial meeting, through the bid process and selections went smoother than we could imagine, especially during the COVID pandemic.Our custom home build took about a year and a half to complete from footings to move-in, but that included COVID related production delays, subcontractor staffing issues, as well as Steve’s unfortunate passing. All things considered, it was impressive to get the home done in that timeline.While there were a few miscommunications and production delays/material availability issues from time to time, Chris and Steve were great to work with to figure out options that we were all happy with. When we would text or e-mail Chris regarding something we saw during our home build or a modification we wanted to make, we really appreciated him taking the time to get back with us with specific detailed options with clarity regarding both cost, as well as availability.There was not a single point that we felt taken advantage of, cheated, shortchanged, or ignored. Even after we have lived here for several months, Chris is still great to work with and a strong advocate with getting the inevitable repairs/hiccups worked out after move-in. He didn’t disappear once the check cleared.We appreciate Chris and are thankful to have our home part of Steve’s legacy of quality and integrity. We have no plans of ever moving, but if we did, we would not hesitate to use Jensen Quality Homes again.

We have had the great pleasure of working with Jensen Quality Homes in the process of building our custom built home - and it has been a wonderful experience! We highly recommend them to anyone who would like a beautiful, quality built, custom home.From the start, we had thought that the whole building process was going to be overwhelming with all the decisions that needed to be made, but Jensen Quality Homes made it a pleasurable experience. Steve was always available to answer our questions and met us on a regular basis on site to discuss any issues or questions that we had. Some of our questions were premature in that that they would be addressed over time, but in responding to us, Steve was very patient, polite and kind. We were always given notification several weeks out regarding work that was coming up and what selections and decisions would need to be made next, so that we never felt overwhelmed or rushed. The sub-contractors we got to know were very friendly and their workmanship has been outstanding.We have been extremely impressed with the integrity and commitment from all involved. When all was said and done, we couldn't be happier - our home is everything we wanted it to be and more. The quality of the material and workmanship is outstanding. We highly recommend Jensen Quality Homes!

I was recently asked to give a review for Jensen Quality Builders as they have just recently finished our home. We have been in our home now for a month. I just love it. It is so well built and feels just solid. Its appearance is just wanted I wanted.As for Steve and his son Chris, I believe them to be very nice men who strive to do their job with excellence. As with all things, nothing is perfect. I was warned that working with builders is a terrible experience, but I have to say that I did not experience that. Our experience was good but not without its flaws. That is not a slight against them, it is a reflection of our experience; probably compounded by having a home built from a distance. In life, nothing goes perfect we all know, so there were things that were miscommunicated, misunderstood or forgotten. Being 900 miles away only added to those issues, but I have to say that those few things that did arise, were met by Steve and Chris with understanding. They sought, as we did as well, to sort through things with grace and integrity. That is what I appreciate most. While I don’t expect for things in any endeavor to go perfect, it is nice to work with those who try to uphold godly character and desire to do all that they do with integrity.Would I recommend them if you were wanting to build a home? Absolutely YES! They build great homes and like I said they are great people. I would advise to not be hesitate about checking up on those things that you want done and keep records….If you are apprehensive in asking something because you don’t want to be a ‘bother’ then some things can be missed that you might have wanted. I believe Steve and Chris stand by their name and their work backs it up- , Jensen Quality Builders.

Working with Jensen Quality Homes was amazing!! The attention to detail was like none other. We have had three homes built since moving to Murfreesboro and we are so glad we used Jensen Quality Homes!! Steve was patient enough to hear our needs and experienced enough to make suggestions when it made sense. One of the things I requested when we first began working together was that if I called, he return my call and when I had a question, he answer it to best of his ability, to the best of his knowledge. I was fully aware of my inadequacies in building homes and needed someone experienced but with the heart of a teacher and able to explain what was going on when I had a question. We were truly BLESSED to have such a Godly and honest man overseeing our project and we would never use anyone else to build a house if we ever build another. Being our forever home we had a ton of questions and probably "odd" requests, but they made them work and our house is absolutely beautiful! When building our retirement home, my wife and I had two priorities in choosing the builder: first, we wanted a quality house; second, we wanted a builder with high integrity. In choosing Jensen’s we achieved both those goals. Throughout the process of building our home, we never doubted we had an honest builder and watching our house go up we knew the house was going to be high quality. We had the advantage of living close by as our house was being built and we no doubt drove Steve and Chris a little crazy by being on site nearly every day. Building a custom home, of which we were never able to see the finished product first, meant we made several changes as the house was being built. The answer was never NO – Chris always had a solution. In fact, he came to us with changes he thought we should make. If we said, “we can live with that”, Chris would respond with “we want you to be happy – let’s make the change”.This was our first house that we’ve built and we did not realize all the decisions that have to be made. But the Jensens patiently guided us through the process. Sure, we wished the house could have been done sooner, but you have to appreciate that quality standards were not compromised just to get it done. We’ve been in our new home for less than a month, but each day we are reminded of the quality of the workmanship.We couldn’t be happier as we have the home we’ve always dreamed of building. We highly recommend Jensen Quality Homes.

What this guy said below. Pretty much the same experience just recently. Finished up in April 2018 started March 2017 on a pretty basic 2750 sq ft house. Nice guys, but that's where it ends. Weve been in the house since April 1st and there is a list of stuff that is suppose to be fixed and was suppose to be fixed at closing that they have not made any effort in fixing.Cherie McAuley2 reviewsa year ago-The quality of the home they built was great BUT the experience working with the builder is HORRIBLE. We have been in our custom house that Steve built over 5 yrs ago. As in any build, problems or issues arise. Steve would always go out of his way to resolve any of the issues. In fact, the very few issues that have arisen since being in house, I simply contacted him and poof, issue corrected. Bottom line, if you want a builder that is like family and backs up his product, go with Steve. In this day and age, that is a rarity. Thx for a beautiful house!!
