CJ Harrison and his team did a fantastic job. He was professional, provided timely communications, dependable, and responsible through the entire process. I would definitely hire him and SR&R again.However, we did have two challenges, which were handled very well. A small roof leak occurred on first rain after the roof was installed in August 2023. I called CJ and he left his other job site within 45mins to inspect our issue (unsecured nail). SR&R came out the next morning with materials and fixed the leak. No issues 3 months later.We also installed a brand-new composite deck 5 months earlier (by Durante Homes - I also recommend them), some damage occurred to deck surface (even though SR&R applied protection-see picture) as material is prone to scratches. I had our deck guy out to invoice the damage and SR&R approved the repairs and paid Durante in full without any hesitation.SR&R took ownership of their work and made it EASY to get the problem resolved without hassle or extra effort. Also, there was very little debris in the yard after the job as well.Due to a hailstorm, the company replaced many roofs in our neighborhood. If I owned a business, I'd offer CJ a job with competitive pay. His work ethic and the roof installers are a model example of the American exceptionalism we are losing.

Natalie was my Project Manager and I couldn’t have been happier. On a free roof inspection, she found storm damage. Then, she worked with my insurance to get it looked at by them. Insurance agreed on the damages. I prefer texting to emailing or calling and Natalie was always responsive to my texts whether they were to communicate about scheduling or shingle grades or colors. The roof work was scheduled very promptly and she stuck around all day overseeing things on a hot summer day. If I needed to leave the house, she was available as the work was being done to let the workers know to stop work to allow an exit. Things really went seamlessly.The shingles were top notch, the roofers were prompt and installed with confidence, and the PM was wonderful as well. They even tacked some loose siding back near my roofline. This is my second roof (my first was 15+ years ago at a different property), but my first with Natalie and Southern Roofing and Renovations. Tony and Tyler were very helpful and knowledgeable. We got our roof inspected by them and our insurance adjuster was out here within a week. It then took less than 2 weeks for them to get the roof scheduled to be replaced. They were out here multiple times while the roofer were working to make sure everything was going smoothly. Southern Roofing and Renovations is AMAZING!!!! Responsive, friendly, straightforward and extremely efficient! Natalie was an absolute pleasure to work with! I’m assumed this process was going to be really stressful and confusing and it was the exact opposite; she explained everything thoroughly, responded in a timely fashion and was super friendly:) From start to finish we had a new roof in two weeks! Literally can’t recommend this company enough! And so clean! I haven’t found a single nail anywhere, which means the world when you have pets and kiddos!

Brendan and his crew at Southern Roofing are by far the best in the business. I’m sure that they get a lot of positive reviews but when I say these guys did a 5 star job they went considerably above every other company we contacted for help. Our detached garage was effected by the storm in March, resulting in considerable damage. We had the insurance company out for an inspection and even the inspector would not scale the roof due to the pitch, we had three “professionals” here and not one of them got on the roof claimed it was too dangerous without equipment and additional costs.I was concerned and knew that it would adversely affect the coverage of what needed to be replaced. I had a recent medical concern that effected our savings greatly so to say I was worried how this would pan out and how we would recover would be an understatement.I was right, the insurance company, the other roofers simply neglected us as clients and the initial roofer I had contacted has zero information for me regarding how to fix this.We decided we needed to try one more, We contacted Brendan at Southern Roofing and after having been fighting insurance and the prev roofer for weeks with no resolution he was at my home and on my roof in 24 hours, he tarped the damage so that our belongings would not get any more damaged. He then took the time to analyze the inspection and the quote, he spent hours on the phone with my insurance company, all on his own accord and never once made me feel as though I was bothering him.We finally got to the repair day and came to the house with samples of our options, took time to explain all the materials and process. He was patient and kind with all of my million questions, and to my shock told me that he would have my roof repaired by the weeks end. And at a price we could actually afford!He communicated throughout the process never once making me feel as though I needed to track him down. His guys showed up on time and ready to roll. He even took the time to meticulously cover the vehicles in the garage (which we didn’t even ask him to do) and spent hours on his own cleaning up, every nail and scrap of debris was cleaned away.My garage looks brand new and I can’t tell you just how thankful we are to him and his company for the amazing attention to detail, professionalism and sheer quality they provided at an excellent fair price! I hope we never have to deal with another roof disaster but let me tell you if we do there is NO ONE else we would call to assist us. Hands down best in the area!! I used Southern roofing and renovation in March 2023. Straight line winds damaged my roof. At first I was fearful that my insurance would not cover a replacement roof. I was pleased to learn that this company would come out and meet my insurance adjuster on a Sunday. Their report was so detailed that my adjuster didn't even need to go on the roof. He actually said that it was the best and most detailed report he'd ever read. My insurance company readily agreed to replace my entire roof. I discussed with the company representative that I had dogs and a pool and was fearful of debris and nails in my backyard. We came to a compromise how to get the roof safely replaced (very steep lots of angles) and to keep my backyard as debris free as possible. This is where they totally impressed me! As anyone knows it's not how good a company is when everything goes right but it's how good a company is when things start to go wrong! As the roofers started and the company associate went around to inform my neighbors that if any debris came into their yard that they would promptly clean it up. The roofers started dropping stuff into an area that we discussed to be debris free. I contacted my representative (for which I had his cell phone number and the owners cell phone number) I discussed what was going on they probably stopped the crew and redirected them to the proper side of the house for debris. It was simply a miss communication that was resolved instantly. Here's where the integrity of the company shined..... The crew brought out extra magnet rollers as well as two site managers to promptly roll my entire yard. They've cleaned up the debris and rolled my yard multiple times. They wanted to ensure that my dog's yard was debris free! This was the absolute best cleanup job! They were extremely polite, attentive, professional, an easy to contact. They did a wonderful job on my roof and I would highly recommend this company to anyone, but especially those who have pets!

Southern Roofing and Renovations has been a big blessing to me! It is awesome to see that there are still honest businesses and people that care about the customer and putting them first ahead of the money! They came to my house after a hail storm when I first got involved with them. Everyone tried to tell me they were probably storm chasers because they just showed up at my door including my Insurance company which we should be careful! As it turns out Southern Roofing and Renovations were the ones that had my back! I went from getting a section of the Roof and gutters repaired to the whole roof, gutters and downspout's done 100%. Southern Roofing and Renovations were very professional and they knew the laws and codes. My Roof and Gutters + Downspout's look awesome! Great workmanship! I know we all have people ringing our doorbells after a storm. I ignored a company until that company installed my neighbor’s roof. Since our roof is old, I allowed one of those other companies that knocked on my door to inspect my roof. I was told they did not find any issues. Then we had some more bad weather, the windstorm on 3/3/2023 that was considered a catastrophic event, and my neighbor had told me they believed they had some shingles from my roof in their yard/pool. I called a company for a free estimate. They found a few things and quoted me $1,500 to make some minor repairs but did not see the shingles missing.My neighbor was having their roof installed and they asked if I wanted their company to look at it. I hesitantly agreed only because I already had two roofing companies look at my roof in the last few months. Brendan and Eric inspected my roof. After about 30-45 minutes of inspection, they stated a claim would be warranted should I want to do that. I asked what was the chance that a claim would be successful, and Brendan stated 95%. That caused me to pause only because I was wondering if they were just saying that as I had already had two other companies inspect the roof and say there was not enough for a claim, and he is saying 95% the insurance would cover a new roof.Brendan stood by as I made the claim to my insurance company, answering any questions that might be asked that I might not know. The adjuster was assigned and came out a few days later. Brendan and Eric met the adjuster and walked the adjuster through what they had found. By the end of the inspection, the adjuster told me the roof was bad and that he would be writing it up for a new roof because of the identified wind and hail damage.I will tell you from experience; it really matters the knowledge of the person doing the inspection. I had two companies climb on the roof and tell me that it was fine, no major issues. Brendan and Eric inspected it and found several major issues and the adjuster fully agreed with their assessment. There was no fight from the insurance company.After going through the process with the insurance, I sent Brendan the breakdown of what the insurance would cover. After that we scheduled the design meeting. He and Eric provided samples, we talked about a few possible upgrades, etc. We worked out the roof design and I was able to get the new roof and only ended up paying my deductible. Literally two days later they showed up to start the roof, but it was going to rain so it got pushed back a day.Eric was handling another job and was not available, but Brendan was onsite through a majority of the project and was always available for any questions I had. If he had to go inspect another project, he would come back often and he would come back at any point if I had and issue and resolve it in person (there were no real issues). He immediately addressed any of my concerns and made sure that things were moving along, they were done correctly and that I was satisfied. When the roof was done Brendan made sure that is looked like they were never there. In looking over the roof a very small detail caught my eye. All of the pipes (not sure what they are called) as well as the vent had been painted to blend in with the roof. They wait until you select your shingle and then paint the pipes and vents to match. This made my roof look so much nicer as there weren’t these white pipes coming out of my roof any longer.I will close by saying that our area was considered a catastrophe area after the 3/3/2203 windstorm that came through. If you think you might have any damage from that storm or a previous one and even if you already had someone inspect your roof and not find any damage, call Brendan and Eric and let them look at your roof. I found them to be knowledgeable, detailed, customer service driven and punctual.Service: Roof installation

Brendan and his team are true professionals. After the storms in early March Brendan stopped at our house putting up multiple tarps late in the night ensuring no further damage by more Storms.
