From the very start these guys made it so easy to work with them. They came to our home at our convenience and showed us what they could do to our bathroom. Pricing was negotiable depending on what you wanted to spend. My wife and I both felt good about the final price we agreed on.They emailed or called every couple of weeks to let us know what was happening. Waiting for them to manufacture and get the bathroom done was the hardest part. A contractor came out and did a final measurement and with in 3 weeks the installers showed up. These guys were great. Very professional and knew their job. They were in and out in 6 and a half to 7 hours. Start to finish!!!! I would highly recommend Durante as the whole experience was positive and the employees were excellent!!

Love, love, love the siding, windows and columns Durante Home Exteriors installed for us!!! I would definitely recommend them and will use them again. I had tried since 2018 to get several different local contractors to give me a price for what I thought was a big job and they would tell me they were coming but never showed up. Finally I got on the right track with Durante! They not only showed up they showed out!! Everyone they sent to our home was very professional and they did a fabulous job!

Durante replaced our doors and windows and did a fantastic job. When they say they stand behind their work they mean it. We recently had a leak in the front window and they came promptly to make it right. Fletcher did the drywall repair and it looks even better than before. Try to find the rapair spot in the drywall! I had windows installed today by Daniel and his brother. These guys are amazing! They were fast, efficient and professional. They had 5 windows removed and installed in seven hours. Let me tell you how nice they were. They brought the garbage cans in from the street. One of them saw me struggling with a large package and took it from me to place in the car. They were considerate of the cat who had to be moved around so it wouldn’t run outside. I can’t praise them enough!Google wouldn’t allow me to review a second time, but Merlin and his team did my siding, and Glenn and his team did my deck. I couldn’t be happier. My 60+ year old house looks brand new! And I have my dream deck! I highly recommend 10/10!

From design, to construction I can't say enough praise. We have a ranch house that needed the porch extended outward. We contacted Durante and we met with a designer picked out the new railing, brickwork etc, Once we approved the plans, construction started, pouring footers etc. . They were very contentious and hardworking. Final result was exactly what we needed, the addition appeared like it has always been there. We've received many compliments. I highly recommend this company.

We hired Durante to replace, extend and upgrade our old wood deck in early 2023. We chose their highest end composite decking with LED lights on the posts. It looks awesome! As I walked onto it tonight this fall, my first thought was this was the best investment we ever made. They installed it in one week when materials were delivered. They were extremely professional and reliable. Hands down the best contractor experience that I have ever had. I wish I could hire them for everything around my house! My neighbors were shocked when I told them it was a 1 week install and they pulled all the proper permits, etc. My neighbors told me their deck replacements took several weeks/months.Service: General construction

I have had nothing but problems with this company. It started with them sending out a tech to get measurements for a new shower. The tech took the measurements and had us pick out color, type, and material. We agreed on a price and made a %50 down payment then I didnt hear back from them for months. I ended up having to speak with the service manager (Steve Watts). The service manager sent out a new tech and told us to pick out whatever we wanted. My wife picked out a glass door with floating hardware. The service manager called back afterwards and attempted to change what we were going to get again. Apparently the door was something that they do not typically install and they wanted to give us a cheaper one. I had to argue with the service manager on this point as it had been 6+ months at this time and they had our money but still didn't even start on the project. They eventually honored what they said after months of fighting with them and not having access to a shower. Fast forward a few months to Thanksgiving. We get back home from Thanksgiving and a crack appeared in our shower. The crack is about 6 inches long and is on the bottom of the shower. I called and explained the situation. Luckily I had a warranty for the shower. The tech they sent out to fix it offered to patch the hole and stated that the patch would be there permanently in addition to VOIDING my warranty. I explained that I didnt want to void my warranty since I had this less than a year and it was already broken. The tech handling my account said no problem and that they would replace it but they would have to wait on a replacement. Ok no problem. I was told on Dec 13 the new pan would be shipped and arrive on Dec 20th. The next contact I received was a text on Jan 9th stating that the material was in and that they were waiting on scheduling. No contact for a few weeks so I reach out on Jan 22 asking for an update. I was told that the contractor hadnt gotten back to him about his scheduling yet. At this point I called the office and was transferred to the the same service manager (Steve Watts). The service manager had no idea what was going on with my account and wanted to speak with his tech. I asked about voiding the warranty and how it was odd that they would send someone out to work on it that would void the warranty of their own product. He then told me that the parts just came in this Monday and I immediately questioned him as his tech said the parts had came in back on Jan 9th. He stated that it wasnt a big deal and that I was making it out to be more than it is. I was stunned by this response and he followed it by stating that they got the door for us last time so we should be grateful. I had to explain to him that them fixing their mistakes after mishandling/ignoring the situation for months was not considered a win in my book so the service manager asked if I would like to speak with his boss. I said that I would like to and he replied that his boss would be calling me by the end of the day. I never received a call from his boss but I did get a text from my original tech stating that the contractor would be able to come out next month. I went to the companys website and it has the owners email on there and they encourage you to reach out if you have any issues at all. I gave them a week to respond to my email and now I am posting this here to warn everyone else about this company's bad business practices. Buyer beware.

Deck replacement.We had a wooden deck that was 14 years old and was starting to come apart in some areas, flooring boards lifting, and top rails rotting through.We researched and looked at several types of wood and composite decking materials and decided on TimberTech as our material choice. The website led us to several local contractors, of which Durante Home Exteriors was listed as one of the top choices. We contacted them and one of their sales agents made an appointment to come out and do an assessment of our project. Knowing the price of replacing a deck in 2020 we knew it what we were facing. John the "Durante salesman" practiced good Covid-19 distancing did an excellent job of showing the different materials and costs based on our wants/needs and measurements.We were happy to signup for the installation, were provided some good discount pricing for signing and knew we would have to wait for the material order process, arrival, and being placed on job order list.Chris our site foreman came out for precise measurements and permit application forms.We were contacted in our 8-10 week time frame window that our materials had arrived and one of their top crew would be available in the next few days.Chris had his team (Emilio Site Foreman & crew) remove and haul away the old eye sore/rotting deck and they installed a strong and beautifully built TimberTech composite replacement. We are so happy and impressed with our new deck, the excellent Durante staff, all materials, and work performed by our Durante Home Exterior team. They are an A+ company and would highly recommend them to anyone needed a deck replacement.

Shop around and save. This company came to our home and the consultation started with an 10-15 minute iPad presentation. The presentation was primarily about the company, its awards etc. The salesman who was initially nice went on to show us materials and took measurements. The quote for a single wall and 1 door that spans 13 foot was over 8K. The salesman then went into “pressure tactics” by saying if you buy today we can do it for 7K. Also saying we “pay” our employees more, etc etc. After telling him numerous times that we were getting multiple quotes and his company was just the first…he keep coming with the discounts. At the end of the visit he was down to 6K to install a very simple screen wall. We received 3 other quotes and they came in @ $1800, 2100 & 2200. Needless to say we didn’t choose Durante. So do your research, check credentials and shop around. I couldn’t in good conscience recommend this company because of the “premium” they charge.

I would give 0 stars if I could! This company is a scam. I called their number after I received a flier. It said “I will be doing home improvement work (replacement windows and composite decking) for your neighbor”. When I called I explained that I have the windows and everything from a warranty replacement claim and I just need them replaced just like the advertisement stated. The secretary refused to even send someone out for a quote. She said they do not do that. They have to order the windows themselves then replace them. That is not for any other reason than to inflate their charges more. The windows I have are from the same company as my original windows so there is not anything wrong with them. Do not call this business!!!

The Durante team built a deck for us and installed a patio door to the deck. They were the hardest working, most professional crew and exceeded our expectations. They were all experts and the quality of the materials used and the installation were definitely worth the cost and time for this home project. We are typically DIY folks but knew we needed contractors for this project. They definitely made us feel like we chose the right path going with Durante and the warranties and quality of the work with the deck and the door now added value back into our home but also also allows us to enjoy the house and the extra living space ourselves! As an elderly, single woman, working with Durant was a nice experience. They were dressed appropriately, on time and cordial each and every appointment. They held to their contract on time frame, materials, work to expect and finished product. They left me with a beautiful deck and not one iota of the original deck remaining. The deck is well built, very sound and a major enhancement to my property. The team I had was stellar. I would work with them again without pause. It was the least stressful of any improvement I have ever undertaken in my 45 years of owning homes. All I had to do was collaborate on design, make the property available and write the check. We chose Durante to install our Pergola. We are very happy with the quality of the pergola. This has added value to our home and has helped us enjoy our patio! Ray was our builder and he was VERY professional and built our project as if it were his own. He was meticulous about doing things well and was meticulous when he left the site. He was a hard worker-no stopping for long breaks or down time despite working on several of the hottest days of the season! He was a tremendous worker! Our contractor kept us informed on each and every level so we knew when our materials would arrive and what the next step would be. We love our new pergola!We especially appreciate the professional manner in which we were treated. It felt as if we were partners in this project and the customer service quality matched the quality of our finished product. We are indeed Durante champions and would highly recommend them. When they are ready for new brochures, we are ready to feature our new pergola in their advertising!

I had my windows and siding replaced by Durante this past summer, and I had a great experience overall. The team did beautiful work and truly left my property neat and clean at the end of each day. The windows and siding look beautiful and are high quality, both in product and in installation, and I love driving up to my beautiful home each day. Management sent out periodic updates on progress as well, which made for really transparent communication. The cost was more in the upper range, but the quality of the work made it worth it.My one issue was with the sales rep. The order I placed with the sales rep for my windows was not the order that the team received, and as a result, the incorrect windows were initially installed. The sales rep did not return my calls to straighten out the issue, which was disappointing - however, the management team honored my word and replaced the incorrect order with the order I told them I made. I appreciated their respect for me, the customer, in doing this. Hopefully this is not an issue with the entire sales team but rather with just this individual sales rep.

Overall, very happy with the end product. Getting there was a chore, usual contractor stuff. Actual install crew (2 guys) were GREAT. They made the whole process worth it. Great price for the product I received. Quality of the materials and build top notch. I just wish there was better communication between Sales and Deck Management and frankly the customer. I would use Durante again, but make sure you go over EVERYTHING in the design and contract with a microscope, and make sure everything is figured out on one contract with Sales cause addendum's cause major heartburn to Deck Management and therefore to the Customer.

I don't typically do reviews, but I had to do this one.We have been thoroughly enjoying our screen porch. When we had a small issue months after project completion, the only comparison I had was other contractors, so I wasn't expecting such a quick turn-around! Durante's warranties are no joke. I sent an email and photo to Chris late one evening, he left me a voicemail the very next day that he had forwarded to John and John called me later that day to schedule the appointment. The issue was repaired quickly. Good as new, but with an explanation of next steps if the issue recurred, so not only was our problem resolved, we know what to expect. We are so thrilled with Durante, their beyond excellent, beautiful work, their attention to detail, their communication, their professionalism, and (most important for me, because when there's a big job there's typically one small thing or another) their attitude, professionalism, and response time if you need an adjustment. We will be using them again and highly recommend Durante for anyone who needs a contractor. You will not be disappointed!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Durante. They built our composite decking as well as our glass sunroom. Both are absolutely beautiful. They took extra measures to make sure their work was immaculate, they left no mess behind at all. We live in a nice traditional home and wanted the quality of the porches to match the rest of the house. It definitely does that and we have already used the porch more in the last month then we had in 10 years. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. We are grateful to Brad, Chris, John, Glen, Ray and Everyone else who helped on this project. I felt very comfortable and at ease with everyone. What’s more, both my husband and I felt that the company went out of their way to demonstrate the priority of customer service. We would definitely recommend them, hands-down.
