They showed up 2/29 and was done by 3pm cleaned everything up and left it cleaner then before they showed up. Definitely recommend if u need a new roof or any home improvements

We had the pleasure of working with Trey Bonnot when getting a free consultation and quote from Midtown Home Improvements recently for a screen room with Fresco cover over our existing deck. He was very personable and professional and very knowledgeable about multiple aspects of the project and pros and cons of our space. He spent over three hours with us going over all of the details and timelines and answering the many questions we had since this was our first time doing any sort of major home renovation or addition. He was also really good about bringing in samples of the materials he recommended using so that we could have a better idea of how the finished product will look and feel. There was very minimal “sales pitch” type feelings and he really only focused on how finding a reputable construction company was paramount to getting the home you want with minimal headache since contractors often do not have the best reputation.Overall we feel great about our decision to go with Midtown Home Improvements and owe a lot of that to the competence and patience of Trey! Danny was also helpful over the phone to help us seal the deal with financial details!

We recently had our deck rebuilt with a cover from midtown and love the final product. Work was finished quickly and minor issues were taken care of. While not the cheapest option, the full service and outcome makes it worth the investment!

Let me start by saying I worked for our family owned General Contractor construction company for almost 20yrs in another state, we know this industry well. When it comes to Midtown, what they SAY and what they DO are two VERY DIFFERENT things. Their business practices are low class. They legitimately lie/hide info/renegotiate at their discretion without providing documentation and understanding to the customer. If you really don’t know what to look for and are not business savvy THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU, all while charming you and you walking away thinking it was ‘a great experience’. I will say it again, low class business ethics. It works, but it’s not right. We would not recommend Midtown to anyone. The single one star is for Danny. Their salesman Danny does his job well and is very talented. Y’all have been warned, do w/it what you will.

I’m so happy with my new screen room from Midtown. I’ve seen some other screen rooms that didn’t add to the overall look of the house but this one does. It wasn’t just a package but I was able to pick the design and the size I wanted 10 x 14! I had a slight issue/miscommunication on the downspouts but the new manager called me and addressed the issue immediately. It’s just the way I wanted it and I can’t wait until a little warmer weather when I can really enjoy using it! Thank you.

Danny did an incredible job helping my fiancé and I make the big decision to buy a fence, and a high quality one at that. We are new home owners and this was a dream for us to have for our puppies and privacy, but had no clue where to start. His humor and professionalism made the process easier and fun. As a single female I want to first say this was not something I was looking forward to - it's not easy finding a company you can trust. I want to say that my experience with MidTown has been absolutely fantastic. Danny was not only professional, but he took the time to explain everything including what makes MidTown different. His concern for me, my project and his pride in the company were a breath of fresh air. By the time we reviewed everything I was extremely comfortable. I was not talking to a Salesman - I was speaking to someone who wanted to make a difference. The pricing was reasonable, the commitment is real and I see this as a long term relationship because of this - I am happy about the work, but honestly I am happiest about finding a company that cares, is honest and fair. I can't wait for the next project - I have a home improvement specialist for life.

Working with Midtown was really positive! If you get the opportunity, Jacob and Danny are really fun and great to work with. They were extremely helpful in showing us options to beef up our back yard that we didn’t know were available - for example, how a different girth pole made it much more pleasing to the eye. They took the time to dive deep into it with us. I firmly believe they were able to make a really hard decision easier.

Deck quality is great and I'm happy with the purchase. However they damaged the tree in my driveway and cut part of it down without asking me. They drove through my neighbors yard with heavy machinery and never came to fix it. Also left leftover material in my driveway for 2 weeks before coming to remove it. Quality is good but delivery needs to improve.

Well you asked so here it is. I had new siding to replace the old and new windows installed and new shutters. Have yet to see the shutters. The siding came out fine but the windows were a different story. I got eight new windows. The crew who removed the windows just started braking windows and then picking up the broken glass to dispose of. I’m still finding pieces of glass around the house inside and out. I have three windows that work correctly and five that are very hard to close. The crew of two have been out twice to adjust the five windows and have so far tried one and broke the framing and have yet to come back out to fix the one and adjust any others. I’m told they will be here and they show up late or not at all. I’m told by the higher up’s in the company this is their best crew. What you say and what you deliver are not the same. Just fix my windows and YOU will never hear from me again.

My husband and I bought our first home in September and immediately started planning our backyard oasis to include a pool. We have a large deck off the house, but putting in a pool created the need for a lower deck. Looking through about a hundred options, we contacted Midtown on a whim. Jacob came to our home, sat and talked with us about our vision, took measurements, and made a plan to come back the next day with some design ideas. He worked with us on every option, question, concern we threw at him. Jacob thoroughly explained the history of the company, the quality and reason behind all material choices, and pricing for all options. He explained how Midtown has been around for 33 years and stand behind their work. Jacob was amazing through the entire process. Communication is incredibly important to us and this man UNDERSTANDS THAT! He laughed and joked with us, helped us talk through the project, and worked with us on financing. My fiancé and I were so excited to use Midtown Home Improvements. We were planning to screen-in our outdoor patio and were told it would take a few weeks for the materials to come in (after signing our contract). When that time finally came, we received a notice in the mail that our contract had been canceled due to “no financing”, even though we had a cash contract. There was zero communication that there was an issue with our contract - we were totally blindsided. If we had known, we would’ve provided any information necessary. I am so disappointed with this experience, especially with the fact that no one returned our messages when we tried to understand what went wrong.

My wife and I knew that we needed a new deck and so I decided to do research.We knew that we wanted to go composite decking vs wood as we do not want to have to maintain a wood deck.We decided to research deck companies and figured we would get a few different quotes and make an informed decision based on those quotes. We decided that we would schedule on site consultations 2 at a time and after those quotes get 2 more and so on and so forth.Our first scheduled appointment was set for April 14th at 10AM and the second appointment at 1PM.The consultant that came over was Johnny Pagano. The key to being successful is all about selling 3 things.1. The Company2. The Product3. Yourself.Johnny did an amazing job selling all 3. He discussed the benefits of Midtown Home Improvement all without disparaging other companies but instead focused on the benefits his company has to offer.I had ordered a sample of some composite of a different type and Johnny discussed the benefits of the Zuri PVC material that they use and showed me a color that closely resembled the color I had chosen from the other company but the Zuri has a real wood look.It was not until Monday April 17th that I decided to dig into the pros and cons of Trex VS Zuri composite and confirmed that everything that Johnny stated was correct. As a matter of fact the only side by side testing that Trex won on was the available color options and the lower price, but even on the review I had read it stated that the many colors of Trex looked like painted composite where Zuri has a true wood look.Some other benefits of Zuri over trex were the lack of fading, the lack of heat buildup and that Trex has 3 different grades while Zuri just focuses on having the best product available instead of having a good, better, and best grade material.We were sold on the Zuri, but I provided full disclosure to Johnny that I had another appointment and that I felt it would be fair to honor that appointment. He completely understood…Unfortunately my wife did not understand and said, “No, Why do a dog and pony show with someone else when we know that we are sold on the company, the product, and Johnny.. Call the other place and cancel the other appointment.I did call the other company and then we signed a contract with Johnny for which I felt was a fair price and was told that we would receive a call within 7-10 business days to have the measurements that Johnny took confirmed and schedule the teardown of the old deck and installation of the new deck.The next step included a re-measurement of the deck by Jacob who was also very friendly and mentioned that he is excited for us as the deck will look amazing.I reached out to Anthony (one of the managers) who stated that since we do not have an HOA that we most likely will have the deck completed by the end of the May once the engineers create the CAD drawing and file for the permits.I was notified on May 16th from Amanda (Production Administrator) that the permits have been approved and the work should be starting soon.Coordinated with Jacob a few times and I feel bad that in our excitement we were blowing up his phone with “What are the next steps?” “Will this still be done soon?”, yet he stayed professional and answered our questions.I received a call from Mauricio letting us know that his workers would be coming by to tear down the old deck. They had the old deck done in no time…. Super efficient guys.Multiple deliveries of parts were coordinated as well as confirmation of permits and told a completion date that was within the time frame mentioned.The deck was completed yesterday (June 2nd)and my wife and I could not be any happier.We will recommend Midtown Home Improvements to anyone and everyone that sees our deck as well as try to score some referral money when they make their purchases after seeing our deck.Thank you everybody at Midtown. Unfortunately we had to cancel the installation due to unforeseen life events and family developments, and they were very accommodating and professional in helping us get out of our contract. My wife and I are very glad that we hired Midtown to replace our decaying backyard fence with a very high-quality vinyl fence. Every person we have met or communicated with has been professional and pleasant. The quality of materials is of the highest degree. We think the installation crew was very careful and thorough at every step of the process, too. Midtown isn't likely to be the cheapest, but do I really want "cheap" to be a word that describes any home improvement done for us? I think not. I recommend Midtown Home Improvements without reservation.

We would rate them a 5 on the end product & Dylan & the construction crew. The communication would be much lower-maybe 2 rating. Lots of difficulty getting calls returned. Pricing is very high compared to other reliable decking companies but just hard to compare apples to apples with the product & construction process they use. They’ll explain to you about how they work and why they construct decks a certain way. They’re expensive, but you’ll know it’s done right. I used this pic so you could see the cement supports they made. That way you aren’t relying on wood sunk into damp ground. They have a lot of nice tricks like that to make a deck last.Service: Deck construction
