Josh came right over to our house to do an estimate for the needed repairs. He went over the repairs we wanted, told us what had lead to the problem, and prioritized what should be done first. He also told us how to handle home maintenance to avoid future repairs. It was a free lesson on doing necessary upkeep. Since we rent the home but are responsible for any repairs we chose the items we wanted done first. He came the next day and fixed all the items we agreed on within a few hours and to a professional level. We are very pleased with Josh and Handyman and will definitely call them when we need to finish our repairs.

Joshua fixed our mailbox this morning and I could not be happier with the results! He found a more affordable solution than replacing the entire mailbox/post which is such great news for us.Mr. Handyman was super responsive to our request which was placed right in the middle of the Holidays/end of the year. I was fully expecting since everything is closed around the Holidays to have a delay. They promised to have someone out to fix our mailbox the day after the new year and they delivered! Highly recommend - they're very transparent about pricing and options for fixing almost any issue you may have.

Very prompt and friendly. He explained the process, gave me a quote and performed the job. I also liked that he came with his own door mat and shoe covers in case he needed to enter the home, which he didn't have to, but that showed how much they care about the customer and their property. No other maintenance company I've used has ever done that.

I have used Mr, Handyman on three occasions and hope to use their services on many more! I am extremely pleased with the work that their technician, Drake Harris, has done at my century-old home. I had expected that dealing with such a company would be rather impersonal, but my experience has been just the opposite. Drake has been timely, efficient, friendly, and pleasant to work with. And his skills at whatever project needs to be done are amazing! He carefully consults with me, figures out a plan, knows the items needed, and proceeds with focus to get it done. He has completed each project much more quickly than I had expected and at the highest level of quality. Service fee to just come out to the house for quote; did not use due to extremely high quote on a garage storage bracket to be installed. Wanted 4 brackets mounted in 13ft garage, quoted over $1,600. Review is more for you to gauge.Call center was communicative but more like a selling agency to lock in their service fee, rather than to help complete a job for reasonable price.Got another Handyman service to complete job for $300. Out the $100 for quote/service fee.

The way things worked out was not great. I too readily believed the hype about low pricing and didn’t get other estimates. Then my guy got sick and missed our appointment so I lost time and felt boxed into using them.To replace a couple sections of baseboard was almost $600. It’s around $25 in materials and a few hours of work so you do the math. Tech was great and work seems fine so it’s really just the pricing that prevents the 5 star.Since they charge you just for an estimate, I’d get other quotes first and use these guys as the safe alternative if you’re not happy with what else you’ve seen.
