Travis Blankenship with Southern Roofing and Renovations has provided a ton of value for our household. He’s made the process super smooth between us and our insurance company.From the beginning, he has been on time, prepared, and transparent. He made sure he was at our house with the insurance adjuster and the construction crew to insure everything went smoothly.As an inspector in my line of work, I truly appreciated Travis for his attention to details and making sure the job was done right.I was away on work travel when Travis gave me a call telling me he halted the job due to the decking not being up to code. He was able to get our insurance to pay for the entire roof to be re-decked to meet code and be eligible for the shingle warranty.I made the right decision to go with this company as I had 5 other contractors come to our house and give us quotes. None of which made an effort to work with our insurance. These guys know their stuff and do quality work. Beyond thankful for Travis and his team.

I worked with Southern Roofing and Renovations out of Nashville. Ron Rich saw that my roof needed repairs and he stopped to inquire if I had a company in line yet. Ron ended up being the right guy at the right time. And for my situation, he also was able to point me to the right people to help me with the insurance company. I cannot say enough about this guy!Ron kept me well informed, and he is passionate about making sure your roof and the work and the process is done right. He is upfront and honest as all times, and he says what he does and he does what he says. If there is any problems, he will run it by you and make sure you know what your choices are and what he feels may be best for you.On the day of putting the roof on, he was there the whole time making sure everything was done correctly and he is so passionate about the work being done right that he stayed after the crew left and went over my lawn for nails again AFTER the crew went over my lawn for nails!The crew that was working that day were hard working and did a great job. They definitely had a great cohesiveness and each person had their part to do. Lance with Southern Roofing & Renovations is amazing! We had a roof leak that we feared would require a new roof, and the next day he came out and offered to seal the suspected problem areas. He let us know that if we can stop the leak, we may have quite a few years left on our roof. What impressed me the most, is that we were frantic and if he would have told us it was time for a roof replacement, we would have done it. It stormed again today, and Lance was thoughtful enough to reach out and ask if we had any more issues.I appreciate that the honesty and integrity of SR&R is more important than a quick sale. I called John Smith about some loose shingles on a roof SR&R had applied 6 months ago. He was here the next day, on the roof, and the couple of loose shingles turned out to be shingles just accidentally left behind on cleanup! Awesome job, materials, and first class friendly follow-up ! I’d highly recommend this fine company! How often do you get someone eager to double check their work! No charge, just a smiling face! I like it!

I had Southern Roofing replace my residential roof. They also removed my old turtle vents and power vents and upgraded everything to ridge vents. Brendan O'Neil was the project manager for my project.I have had many contractors work on my house through the years and Brendon was far and above the best Project Manager I have had the pleasure to work with. He made sure the team showed up on site on time and was onsite for most of the work. He kept me informed of progress...communication was excellent. When I brought up some issues, he quickly resolved them to my satisfaction. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. These guys know what they're doing and they know how to get it done. My situation was complicated, very complicated. Meaning my coordination with my insurance company and the claim was difficult to navigate and they were there with me at every step. I highly recommend Mike Sciandra from this roofing company. Their dedication, service and commitment is outstanding. Very professional and He handled the insurance claim process for me and made it easy and painless.He kept me informed every step of the way. He also offered to fix the spots in my roof that were damaged for free! to prevent water leaks in the house while they got the insurance and stuff covered up before he could get the whole roof replaced.

We had our roof replaced and we were super pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail! The team did an excellent job cleaning up as well! The crew showed up early with 10+ roofers and had it completed same day (2500 sq ft house). They handled everything from the adjustor to my insurance company - I had to do nothing except pick out color of shingles. If you are in need of a new roof give Southern Roofing a call.

I've had a horrible experience with this company. I had to complain to the BBB about this Business . I would not recommend. I still have compaints that no one is addressing . I've never seen such poor work ethic in my entire life. I just wanted a adequate job for what I have to pay for. If this company does not want to make things right and stand by the work you see in the pictures. I will go on every social media platform and complain. To save the public from from choosing this company.

I have been working with Travis from Southern Roofing for over a year. This company was recommended to me by a friend that said they did a great job. He has been very open and honest we me the entire time. He has never tried to “sale” me something I did not need. It got to the point that he filed a claim with State Farm for me for a roof replacement. This process took over 6 months to get completed but Travis was supportive the entire time. The project was completed quickly and timely but the most important part was the quality of work that was performed. I am highly grateful to SOUTHERN ROOFING AND RENOVATIONS for the excellent work done in Madison Tennessee, lead by MIKE SCIANDRA PROJECT MANAGER. When the tornado happened in December 2023, I was out of the country, my brother informed me that SR&R personnel showed up offering their services to repair the roof damaged due to the recent tornado. Showing their seriousness and professionalism during their visit, they convinced my brother that it would be to them that we could entrust this work. My brother contacted me, convincing me to put such an important project for us at that time in the hands of SR&R. The first problem to encounter was with my insurance, SR&R was in charge of resolving every detail with the insurance, which was of great peace of mind for us, especially since I was out of the country. With their professionalism and excellent work from the beginning, they made it possible to carry out such complicated procedures, until achieving a positive response. They were always very friendly, efficient and responsible at every stage to be carried out. We were convinced that we had made the best choice in having their excellent service. In the end they surprise us with an excellent job completed in the same day, leaving us 100% satisfied with the high quality with all the details of perfection, clarity and elegance. I'm Carlos Duarte and we just had a Roof job done here in Madison and I am more than satisfied with this job, from start to finish since not only did they help us with managing the paperwork with the insurance, this being very complicated but they were there every day helping us fix the matter until they managed to do it, when everything had already been fixed, they started to do the work and on exactly one day they finished it and I was surprised with the results, they are very professional, it is incredible with the efficiency that they They did it, they made our roof a great reinforced job and very safe. The guys at Southern Roofing and Renovations went above and beyond multiple times throughout our new roof experience.Drake and Eric were very kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They spent time going over what our options were regarding our insurance company versus paying out of pocket. They worked hand in hand with our adjuster to get us the best quality roof, while also making sure we were brought up to current codes, and that the wife liked the way it looked. They handled EVERYTHING. When it came time to pick out the options and colors of our new roof, Drake and Eric were very knowledgeable of their products, and again took time to educate us on what each product offered.The roof was completed in one day about a week ago. I’ve looked and looked, still haven’t found a nail in the yard or around the house. These guys were thorough, meticulous. The new roof looks great!Our overall experience was fantastic. Our home is a 50’s fixer upper and we’ve dealt with plenty of shady contractors. From the start, Eric and Drake are guys you wanna invite over to watch football or have a cookout with. Brady and Anthony were awesome to work with all through the process. Once insurance agreed to replace roof, it was done in a matter of days! Looks great…no surprises…and right on cost. Several neighbors are looking to use them now bc job went so well. Afterwards cleaned up yard so that you didn’t even know that they were there. Completed entire roof (large and steep) in 1.5 days and apologized for taking so long. would definitely recommend to anybody!Services: Attic venting, Roof installation

Our home was damaged during the December 9 tornado and from the damage we ended up updating a brand new roof luckily for us a member of SRRR lived in our neighborhood and was extremely professional and helping in the process of getting our roof fixed but also typing it the day of the storm to make sure no extra water seeped through our roof. Don't expect any kind of contact, service, warranty, or concern after your check clears.Nobody answers the phone, my sales rep (Jay) doesn't reply to text or calls, contact is impossible.It seems the job was subcontracted and they did an ok job. Jay said he would stop by my reciept and warranty papers a few days after my new roof was put on.That was a YEAR ago! I still don't have ANY paperwork, reciept, warranty info, nothing! Ridiculuous. The second your check clears you mean nothing to them. Don't pay until you have a reciept and your warranty papers!
