From the experiance so far they would get 10 stars if I was able. Update 05/202024 - the roof is finished, looks fantastic, still 10 stars. Great company!!!

Called yesterday to get a quote on some metal roofing. The call was a nightmare had to go over the estimate 4 consecutive times to get it right. The quote changed four different times by the time it was all said and done. Then got a call back the next day saying that the metal wasn’t going to be ready by the time they told me it would be. I called them back to see if they had a time frame of when it would be ready to pick up but they couldn’t tell me anything.

I accompanied my boss to pick up a small order. We found the correct entrance & pulled in. When the employee in the yard had finished with the load in front of us, he approached & instructed us to go to the office to pay & pick up our invoice. Once we had it, he would load the sheets & we would proceed into the building for the accompanying screws. He had some difficulty locating our order, but once he found it, we were loaded promptly. We drove into the building & were approached by an employee who took his copy of the invoice & went to locate the screws. We were able to strap the load while we waited on the screws. We easily exited the building & all materials received were correct. I would definitely recommend this supplier.

We were in need of a new roof on our farm house and I spent a month calling various contractors to come and give me a quote for a metal roof. After waiting for three different contractors to show up, I called Lowes in frustration. Just as I suspected, when Lowes came out to price the job (which was very quick), they not only could not do a metal roof, but did give me a price for a shingle roof. The price was incredibly HIGH. Lowe's wanted $18,000 to put a SHINGLE roof on our house. I was ready to give up. I knew about Lyons Metal Roofing, but I thought they were only manufacturing the steel roofing. I did not realize that they also did installations. I was skeptical, but I called and requested someone to price the job. They came out in a few days. The two men were professional and gave me a strong sense of confidence as I watched them detail the job parameters. (They were FAR more detailed concerning the project than the Lowes sales rep). The men from Lyons took about an hour to carefully note the condition and repairs needed. The lead advised me that he had found a significant amount of hail damage as well and suggested that I might consider having my insurance company come out and look at it. I, in fact, did just that. A claim adjuster came on site and verified exactly what the folks from Lyons had shared with me. They wrote us a check on the spot to replace our shingle roof - apples for apples. When Lyons came back with our quote to replace our shingle roof with a HEAVY gauge metal forest green roof, plus make repairs to our covered front porch which had a significant amount of rot, the price was SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS LESS than the Lowes quote FOR A METAL ROOF. I booked them right away. When the team showed up to begin the project a couple of weeks later, they were friendly. They worked all week and showed up for the work EVERY MORNING ON TIME. They worked hard ALL DAY LONG. Honestly, I've never been more impressed with a construction crew in my life...and I've dealt with plenty. I highly recommend Lyons Metal Roofing. Our house is beautiful. They did a wonderful job. They saved me thousands. What more could anyone ask for? Thank you Lyons Metal Roofing!

I called Lyon to repair a previously disastrous roofing job done by another local contractor and former Damascus mayor, Jack McCrady, which left massive leak problems, involved almost every conceivable misstep in roofing ever made and which he never took responsibility for. When I told Dave about our urgent leaking issue, he promptly sent a team out to undo this mess (not an easy or desirable job to fix someone else’s mess), charged a reasonable price and now we have a real roof - attractive, protective and solid - and I can FINALLY remove the drip buckets!! I couldn’t be more pleased that our house and roof will now be able to stand strong for years to come!! Thank you, Dave and team!!

I was able to call my order in & was told my order would be ready in 2 days. Ordered on Wed and it was ready Good Friday. The pickup was easy, I was able to also pickup the screws I forgot to order. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A great group of people. I had a small order that I didn't pick up for over a month. I called and they found my order and got it ready for me to pick up. When I got there they loaded everything for me. I got to the job and had a technical question, so I called them and they were VERY HELPFUL. Give them a try!!!

If you want to get ripped off or have a scam on your insurance company this is your place ..they told myother they couldn't get outro fix the mettle roof and compression of the roof trusses for two weeks they also are in cohoots with insurance adjuster like johnhorchuck that tied in with my ex wife and her mother and Danny farmer who has called and harassed me I don't want these crooks handling my roof or anything to do with my home in gilfeiled subdivision and if your smart you'll go with seomenelse Id give them and negative number if I could

Everything went well until I had an order conflict. The people who work in the office treated me like I was the problem. They were very unprofessional and they actually blamed the problem on me to my face when they were the ones who got my order wrong. I will do everything I can to buy from their competitors now. I hate to leave negative feedback for a local company but it really got under my skin. I also work for a well established custom home builder in Johnson City so I will not be saying nice things about this company to my friends. I believe that you should treat your customers with more professional courtesy.

I could say I ordered this for my job site but that would be a lie, I was able to pick up the materials and visit Lyon roofing where they get things done, the wait wasn't to long, and when a bump in the plan came in a accidental damaged piece 3 extra were cut and sent no problem, that to me shows a company that takes pride in a customers purchase and interest and if a tin roof job comes my way or asked about I will not hesitate to say those guys over at Lyons are going do ya right

Lyon Metal Roofing and David Mays and his crew exceeded our expectations! It was a pleasure to work with David and his crew, they were professional, knowledgeable, honest and I would recommend this company and David to everyone. We went with the 24 gauge steel and the finished product has our whole neighborhood stopping and telling us what an improvement the roof has made to our home and we always tell them Lyons Metal Roofing in Piney Flats. We will return to the store when we are ready for windows, doors and siding. Love them!!!

THIS COMPANY IS REDICULOUS. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME & THE LAST TIME MY COMPANY WILL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. WE GOT THEIR # FROM SOMEONE ELSE. I CALLED TO ORDER METAL ROOFING. I ASKED FOR A COLOR WITH BROWN IN IT & THE SALES LADY , SARA SUGGESTED A COLOR FROM WHAT SHE EXPLAINED WAS THEIR BROWN COLOR. I TOOK HER WORD. WHEN I PICKED IT UP IT WAS NOWHERE NEAR BROWN. HOWEVER I WAS NOT ABLE TO EXCHANGE RETURN NOR GET MY MONEY BACK. I TALKED TO KIM THE OWNER/MANAGER & GOT A BIG RUN AROUND. MY HUSBAND GOT HUNG UP ON & WHEN I CALLED I KEPT BEING TOLD SHE WAS NOT IN. THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & BAD BUSINESS. WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS A COLOR CHART ONLINE AFTER WE HAD ORDERED PD & TRIED TO RETURN. HAD SARA ASKED US TO LOOK AT A COLOR CHART B4 WE HAD ORDERED INSTEAD OF PICKING THE COLOR WE WOULD NOT OF HAD ANY ISSUES. INSTEAD WE GOT THE BLAME GAME FROM KIM. NOW FROM MY EXPERIENCE AS A 30YR OWNER OF HAIR SALON & AN OWNER OF A CONTRACTING BUSINESS, U SHOULD TRY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY, BUT TO PUT THEM DOWN OR POINT FINGERS IS NEVER THE WAY TO SOLVE AN ISSUE. You should consider doing drug testing at your place if employment.My hearsay is pretty accurate coming from your own employees!!! They are tried of cleaning up her mess!!! Lyons Roofing installed a shingle roof for me last year. I’m not sure they even normally do shingle roofs. The roof poored water when raining. Mr. Lyons came to our home two different times to try to correct problem and assured us if any more issues just call and he would be sure to forward a contract to us for warranty. More leaks and Mr. Lyons response is basically you don’t have a contract so too bad. We filed a complaint with BBB and the company will not respond. This owner is shady, lying and not a trustworthy person. We paid over 16,000.00 for a roof that leaks and has no warranty thanks to the owner in Piney Flats, TN
