After months and months of trying to find someone to build our garage and trying to find the right company we came across Summertown metals after going to their place and meeting with them we were very impressed. We got together with them about what we wanted, and in a couple of weeks they made our dream come true for our garage, from the sales department to the builders they did a fantastic job we had such a great experience and it's nice to have a company that you can trust we were extremely pleased, we just want to say Thank you to everyone at Summertown Metals for the amazing job they did and for the positive experience we had, if you're looking for a new building look now further.

Derek at Summertown has done an amazing job building our house. From the first contact until completion the communication has been great, I have spoke with 7-8 different employees in different departments and everyone of them were very polite and knowledgeable. Everytime I called they answered immediately. Derek has followed thru with his word from start to finish.The company seems to be well organized with all of the different departments working together seamlessly.Materials were all amazing quality and the subcontractors did an amazing job and were very knowledgeable and quick.The framing crew reached out to us and offered to make any last minute changes and told us to let them know if we had any questions or concerns about anything.The metal crew was also very communicative and knowledgeable.Overall, I would recommend Summertown Metals to anyone looking to build a house/barndominium. I have no complaints whatsoever with the company.

My wife and I can say nothing but amazing things about Summertown Metals. Our sales rep was Derek and he went out of his way many times to accommodate this build. Minor changes were made to the original prints and without a question he said "absolutely we can make that work". The crews that came out to do the build were amazing, they cleaned up after themselves and were always polite. We are still working on the inside build out but the closed in shell is absolutely beautiful!!!!! Thank you Derek and Summertown Metals.

Alan, my sales person made everything easy from the very first phone conversation we had, to the completed barn. The entire process from paperwork, to delivery, to installation of my pole barn was very straight forward and went good. The builder Luke and his crew did a great job. Would not hesitate to recommend Summertown to anyone looking to build a post frame structure.

Derek Stoll is the man to call if you want a smooth and painless build on your Barndominium. He helped us pick out our plan, about 2 years before we broke ground! We modified the Huntley plan, and Derek and his team ran with it. We are still finishing out the inside, but any issues or questions are responded to within minutes of a text or call and remedied immediately.I highly recommended Summertown and Derek Stoll! Can’t wait to post completed pics.

Pros:- High-quality materials, doors and windows- Excellent design- Excellent web design tool- Transparent and reasonable prices- Everyone at Summertown is very helpful and polite (except the customer service people, oddly enough)Cons:- Communication is spotty. Both subs showed up without prior notice, and both went to the wrong address- Subs are not as good as Summertown. The builder made several significant mistakes and they left a huge mess. The concrete folks also left a big mess. Only two people that came spoke any English.- The subs do not coordinate, so you can end up, like me, with a 7" step up into the building and doors at ground level.- Be ready for scheduling chaos - you will never know what the schedule is until the subs suddenly show up.

I can say that in the beginning communication wasn't very good however after Derek Stoll took over, things went smooth as silk. He explained everything that was going on how it was going to be done and when it was going to be done. If a problem arose he took care of it quickly with my satisfaction in mind. The quality of materials was excellent. workmanship was exceptional. I couldn't ask for a better looking job. Derek made me feel like I wasn't just a job...but a friend. I would recommend him and his crew anytime and I am planning on building another house with him and his crew.

They cleaned up not only the house after framing but cleaned up the yard and put everything in one area. So so happy with the outcome. We are still working through the construction process, so pictures are not of the finished product. However, I told Derrick I would write a review when his part was finished. This build has had some serious hurdles, but Derrick and his team have shown patience and character even when we didn't see eye to eye. This company did exactly what they promised even though I'm sure it was harder to keep that promise then they thought. You just don't see that anymore in a company. The finished house will be exactly what we were hoping for and that is largely due to the Summertown team. Steph and I would like to thank the Summertown team for giving us the opportunity to build our dream house.

This was our first time building and Summertown Metals made this an exceptional experience from the beginning. Derek and team were very attentive from the get-go and every turn they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Being a bit intimidated with not having a general contractor , they made us at ease and happily answered questions that guided us through the process. I'm BEYOND excited for this build! Our house is under construction and we decided to start one of our out buildings next. We decided to do our storage shed first through Summertown Metals. So far - SO EASY! We found a "kit" that we liked. Went to the office, altered it to our specifications. Made the down payment, then Summertown was ready BEFORE we were!!!! We had to push the build back 1 month due to our own schedule and financing. Everyone has been so easy and understanding. Josh Burns delivered our materials today and contacted 3 times letting me know his exact progress and ETA. He put the materials exactly where we wanted them and had to go around my other construction crew. He also didnt mind my muddy dog and her excitement too! Dewayne and Eric were ready and waiting to install the 1st step to this build! I've only heard good things about Summertown and I see why! Our next building will be our animal Barn and Summertown will be our go to!!!!!

So I am about to finish my turnkey build with Summertown Metals. I am the first turnkey they have ever done and in the end I could not be much happier with them. Derek and Wayne have been phenomenal throughout the process. As you would expect, there have been some hiccups and mistakes made (since this is their 1st time doing a complete build), BUT every time there has been a problem they did everything they could to fix it. As they get more proficient with the process I have no doubts that the process will get more efficient and easier. If you are considering doing a new build, it is worth your time to meet with Summertown Metals and learn about all they have to offer. They will go out of their way to make you happy. I can't recommend them enough.

All staff members, to include the truck drivers, displayed professionalism at all times. Everyone was extremely easy to work with and made sure to make the experience positive. I absolutely love my new Garage. The process was somewhat simple. Very cost effective option in my opinion. My 30x40x10 garage was just under $30,000 including concrete. The garage can be completely custom to a point. I only have a couple minor complaints. For a first time buyer, i feel that the communication was lacking from the sales team. Once the sale is completed, there is some information that I would liked to have known. But that wasn't a very big issue to me. I just look at as I learned something new.I did have a major lack of communication with the concrete team as far as scheduling and return visits to finish up. I wasnt given a firm date for a couple weeks, and when they did show up, none of the gentleman spoke english. The team lead, or the supervisor/foreman never showed up. It made it difficult to communicate. He also stated he had no cell service at times and also admitted that he forgot to tell me when I was scheduled. I also wasnt told that they had to come back and cut grooves into the concrete, and i had already started moving into the garage at that point. So needless to say, many of my items are covered in dust. The concrete team also left numerous water/drink bottles and other trash behind. So in short, the concrete crew was very unprofessional, and i wouldnt use them again.But, The actual garage builders (Kevin Wicker) were amazing. They built my garage as they were building there own. They cleaned up after themselves and were very personable and friendly. I would definitely use them for future projectsOverall, I had a good experience but the concrete crew and communication issues drop this score to a 4. I have and will continue to refer Summertown to family and friends.

I had a new garage built by Summertown Metals that was completed in early February. In early March a tree fell down on top of the building virtually destroying the front half. Derek and the crew at Summertown metals bent over backwards in getting the building repaired in a very short period of time. They were excellent and I am thoroughly pleased with the results.
