Apex worked on my property to complete our turns. Along with remediation. Kyle and Annabell made sure the work was started and finished in a timely manner. The work was performed above expectations. The follow up was such a great experience. Working with Apex was so easy and I would highly recommend their team. Thank you Apex for making 5 units look amazing and having the best team!! Apex has been fantastic to work with on our insurance claim and super helpful on other issues that weren’t claims. Their Multifamily Division works well with our site staff and Home Office staff in communication and planning so that claims are handled in the most efficient way. They also understand the difficulties in managing Affordable Housing.

I have debated over and over if I should even leave a review, but as I sit here watching my husband try and fix their mess ups, the more upset I get. In an effort not to fully vent, I’ll just say the following:-Very poor quality of work and left unfinished work-Damaged multiple home furnishings-We were never reimbursed for the $$$ light fixtures we had to buy.

Chris and Rocky showed up early after a courtesy phone call. They were professional courteous and worked very quickly. They took before and after photos for the insurance company and got Our roof tarped In no time I would highly recommend Apex because they do exactly what they say they’re going to do. We’ve never made a claim before, and they both ran through as best they could with us how it works and put our minds at ease thank you, Chris and Rocky I wish more businesses were like that where they do exactly what they say they’re gonna do. As they were finishing putting up the tarp, it started to rain. So I guess the phrase timing is everything applies. Thank you again guys so much. Mac and Debbie.

We had a fire last June. It was caused from a new stove! Go figure! These guys cleaned it up, had demolition, and then rebuild. They were so helpful and involved my hubby and I in all the plans. I am very thankful!

What more can I say? If you want a company that possess' honesty, professionalism, integrity, and respects you as a customer, then you should not hesitate to find another one to handle your needs if a mitigation is required in your home.This dishonest company was sent to mitigate water damage in my home. The project manager and the worker never arrived at the scheduled time, frequently sounded as if I just woke them up when I called them, typically after 10am mind you. The primary worker set up the zipper wall adjacent to our kitchen/breakfast area instead of near the front door, which opened almost directly into the area where the water damage was, as I asked him to do. The net result: he tracked debris through our kitchen and hallway every time he left the house that we had to clean up. The icing on the cake: he dropped a pry bar onto our floor resulting to two gouges in in the laminate ( Pergo ) flooring. I was in the house when this happened and heard it hit the floor and inquired if he was okay. I discovered the gouges while cleaning the floor after they had "cleaned up" before they left. The final outcome: all of the people associated with our mitigation were terminated and Apex/DKI denied any responsibility and suggested I damaged my floor. I have pictures that clearly disprove the damage was preexisting.The rating scale would need negative integers to adequately express my disappointment with these clowns

Apex has done a great job in getting our foundation leak repaired. They are a good value and do good work. The Apex crew has been terrific. Ryan has quickly responded to every call with good and thorough information. Tyler is conscientious and works tirelessly to make sure everything is done right. He has answered every question and has given good advice about each next step of our repair process. Brandon and Chris had to come out late to move furniture and remove wet carpet and they worked quickly and efficiently to get it done. So far everyone from Apex has gone above and beyond to provide excellent service. We feel confident that Apex was our best choice.

Tyler and the rest of the mitigation team were great! I find that it is so hard to get contractors to communicate, reply back, or even show up (let alone show up on time). Apex communicated via email, text, or call nearly every day. They arrived within 2 hours of first contact and did a thorough investigation of our water leak. They were even ready to start mitigation that night (although we did it the next day at my request). 100% a company that I would work with again and recommended.

The worst company to do your repairs! Very Poor communication. I suggest you find another restoration company. Allstate sent this company to our house and not once did they do what they said they would do. They removed everything from our basement, we were supposed to get a complete list of everything removed, needless to say, we never got one. I'm sorry but I wouldnt use, or suggest you use, this company! I believe they have too many jobs going on that they schedule things poorly!

Communication is very poor. Repeated calls are ignored. Things told to you by one employee are not passed on to the next. Scheduled workers were often late or didn’t show up with little to no updates from project manager.We’re told up front that the area around the work area would be kept clean, however promised barriers were never setup and we had to ask every work crew to cover the floors to the work area. They refused to fix damaged wall caused by their workers because it wasn’t in the work area.Insurance claim estimate is heavily padded with work that is not done and APEX getting the difference. They do not work for their client.We were told several times by the project manager that the work was covered by a 5 year warranty but the written warranty given at the end was only for one year. After repeated failed communications we finally were told that this was a mistake. Not as big a mistake as we made in going with APEX Restoration.

Apex Restoration DKI hides behind plausible deniability to avoid taking responsibility for their mistakes. My home was impacted by the Easter tornadoes of April 2020, and I trusted their "Preferred Vendor" status with my insurance company. During the roof replacement, it poured one of those summer storms and caused water damage in our home in multiple places. I was told that the entire continuous ceiling would be repainted to restore it to its previous condition--that they were required to do so. They did only spot painting. During the vinyl siding installation, they severed our fiber optic line. The next day they nicked an electrical wire on the back side of our house which caused our laundry room and over-the-sink lights to stop working. It inexplicably came back on so they shrugged it off, but we subsequently had to hire an electrician to repair their damage. An employee of the subcontractor they hired to do the vinyl siding installation fell from scaffolding by being dangerous and taking shortcuts. It was later revealed to me that the gentleman tested positive for THC at the hospital. The work was completed in November 2020.Fast forward to summer 2021 and more problems became apparent. First our electricity bill shot up to twice the usual. Then the upstairs HVAC unit was not cooling as it should. I had multiple HVAC technicians/companies come inspect it. The unit was out of refrigerant. It was determined that there was a leak in the system. The two main components were ruled out. I was told that leaks in lines were rare UNLESS you had recently had work done to your home "like vinyl siding." I scheduled to have the lines tested one week on a Friday and notified Apex as well as the subcontractor on the Tuesday prior. On the day of the test, the main project manager Nick was in contact off/on with the HVAC technician and requested a copy of his report and test results. The results confirmed there was indeed a leak in the lines. After attempting to contact Nick about scheduling the repair (which I had been quoted a cost of $800 total), I finally reached him nearly one week later. During this call, he informed me that they wanted a dye test completed (at my expense) while a representative of their company was onsite (an arbitrary condition that is not listed anywhere in the conditions of their warranty) before they would accept that this was their repair to make. A dye test involves exposing the lines, which run through the walls of my home, and pumping a colored dye into the line in order to determine the exact location of the leak. They wanted me to prove it was their nail which had caused the leak--the smoking gun, so to speak. That specific test was going to cost between $400-$650 and would involve removing drywall across multiple floors of my home during the height of summer OR removing the newly installed vinyl siding and plywood exterior layers. On the side of the house where the lines run, there have been no extraneous holes created--not even photos on the walls. The only callous and careless threat that has neared the lines is Apex DKI (their subcontractor for which they are responsible). Apex is essentially claiming "no body, no crime," despite the overwhelming evidence that they are at fault here. Now that winter weather is here, I am once again paying from my own pocket for the damage that they caused. The precedent they set in taking responsibility for their mistakes has led me to leave a review instead of filing a complaint--they simply do not care. Please reconsider hiring this company.

Jennifer Foust was great about responding to my flooding issue yesterday, a Sunday. I described my issue, and she made it to my home in a timely manner. She was professional, thorough, and personable. She used her tools to measure the water damage and took photos of the areas effected. I very much appreciated her knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile to help me with my situation. I was most concerned about black mold developing. There was no charge for the assessment which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend her to anyone experiencing a similar situation.

AVOID this company at all cost. They only hire second rate workers and are not loyal on their contracts. It took us 7 months only after a mediator became involved to get them out to fix our flooring that was not properly installed and we have a crack in the ceiling where it was replaced by them upon which they refuse to fix. Amazing they took the job to begin with and now will not make an attempt to repair their sorry work. The drywall guys that showed up with little if any equipment had to borrow our ladder after they broke a chair to stand on while fixing the ceiling. We paid this company close to $40,000. Take my advise and take the insurance money and hire out your own subs or do it yourself. These people will be the friendliest people at the beginning till the money is shelled out then you are on your own . They have no remorse in leaving you with their inadequate work. It was so frustrating dealing with these people that my rating is a -0.

We went with this contractor because they were a preferred contractor for our insurance company and it was difficult to find a local contractor after a tornado damaged hundreds of homes in our community. We were excited that they arrived quickly to demo the floors in the upstairs of our house and promised to be back to start replacing the floors and do the rest of the work as soon as the equipment had dried the floors. The dehumidifiers and fans were removed 48 hours later leaving 100 % of the upstairs of our house unusable due to the flooring being out or furniture from the damaged area being stored there. Every week they promised to come “tomorrow” to start the new floor and new roof. They wouldn’t show up and wouldn’t call while we waited for them all day. When we would call the next day, the would have some excuse and promise to come the next week - and not show again. It took almost two months to get them to show up and do anything at all. When they finally showed up, the roof shingles were the ugliest color ever (imagine some type of brown with rose undertones) and the flooring was the cheapest grade possible and didn’t match any of the other flooring in the upstairs of the house. They said that it was the best they could do and we would have to wait even longer if we wanted something else. They refused to make any adjustment to the invoice for the difference in what was quoted be what we received and we had to work through the insurance company to get any adjustment. They also left saying everything was fine with the roof but, when it rained again, there was clearly an issue with the gutters. We had to pay to have someone come and clean the old shingles, nails and trash out of the gutters. There were a few items that they also didn’t do at all - replace bent gutters and damaged AC coils, but we chose to just pay someone else at our own expense instead of letting them come back to work on our house. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a contractor including their representatives lying to me and my husband about documents that they “needed” us to sign so that they could start the work which actually was documentation allowing them to go ahead and cash the check from the insurance company saying that they had finished the work. Poor quality work, failure to show up multiple times as promised, over two months to even start the work, overcharging for work done AND dishonest practices would warrant zero stars if possible.

Wish I could leave zero stars. Or negative. My spare house key has “disappeared.” Horrible customer service as I don’t hear from them for weeks and assume they’ve finished only for them to randomly show back up, or they lie and say that they’ve called you and that you don’t pick up. Paint is horrible. Missing a stair railing. Dish washer was damaged in the remodel. Floor still has weak spots that were supposedly fixed. A hunk of wood missing from a door frame and they just painted over it like it wouldn’t be noticed. Caulk left unfinished in LOADS of places. Floor is dark and the vents they picked up to “match it” are white. Took a month for them to come install a single light fixture. We have been more than understanding with these people but continue to get the short end of the stick. A quoted two week job has taken 5 months and who knows when they will actually be finished.

Never use this company! The most horrible experience I’ve ever had. It was a never ending thing with them. The first moment Ryan came to the house to see the issue, he was very prompt, told me exactly what they would do and made everything sound great. WRONG! Every day they were supposed to come out and re-fill the dragon and I had to call them and remind them every single time! Then when it was time to pay, he said he never received the check which it was sent to the address HE provided! He said he received one but not the other from insurance and guess what they were in the SAME envelope!! Now, several months have passed and he’s still calling!! I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

Worst company I have every seen and I’m sorry my insurance even recommended them. We are on month 15 and haven’t even completed half of the work. My house and garage have the wrong color shingles then what is in my contract and they haven’t even started on my barn and I have told them about my animals living in wet conditions and that doesn’t seem to bother them. I still have no lights in my garage, flashing missing off it, my fence is still blown over except for the parts that I replaced. I don’t know who to talk to as I have had 6 different people and no one can give me a straight answer.If you want work done, DONT go through them, unless you want everything redone multiple times because they can’t get it right the first or second time.

Being generous with one star bc I had to do at least one to place a review. Horrible work. I have seen more professionalism and workmanship from halfway handymen. Don’t let this company anywhere near your home. They can’t even secure your house key while working and you are away. They think placing it under a rock is securing your home. Still no resolution on our home as we are still under contract with no more work or repairs and them still asking for money while our home was left in a mess and zero communication from Tom! This company is a joke!

I can highly recommend Apex DKI. They communicated well every step of the way. When unexpected water damage and mold from the damp sheetrock was uncovered, they took the time to submit and get approval to fix it. At the height of the building and repairs season when getting contractors and materials would be the hardest, they kept close to the original schedule.I would use them again without hesitation.

I had a complete pack out of my home after a sewage back up . I had items such as an orientalist rug literally placed up on ladders in the garage . My house was left unlocked and days upon days work was not done on my home . Items were not returned to the place they came from and items were completely lost and not replaced or compensated. Items such as bedskirts on all of the beds were lost . I kept asking about them and were told they were still looking for them in various warehouses they had . When I asked to speak with the person or a team leader that packed me out , the answer is was they no longer work for us.I printed out all of the pictures of my home and gave them items numbers of what was missing. I was told they were not responsible for those items missing and that this happens sometimes in a pack out .
