I absolutely love this location. Lamanza and RJ helped me save so much money on the things I needed done to my car after having it for 6 years. I was able to even add services I wad getting ready to complete since I saved so much. I will absolutely come back here. They don't take advantage and are so clear and upfront with every bit of work and stayed with me every step of the way. Phenomenal service. I won't go anywhere else!!

Walked in on a Sunday at 4:20pm. Asked if they could put a plug in my tire that’s right outside and actively leaking fast. The guy in charge said that they couldn’t because they were fully booked… they couldn’t do a 5 minute job. So went over to auto zone that’s right beside them and bought a plug kit and did it myself in the parking lot. Thanks for nothing Pep boys in 2473 S Danville St. Abilene TX, 79605. Oh also, they have a sign that says “repair and maintenance prohibited in the parking lot. -Pep Boys” what a joke!

Great service I had came in to replace an catalytic converter and the mechanic found that I had an crack in the manifold and needed parts and well they went above and beyond an they took me to go pick up the parts and they also had pick me up after work while my vehicle was in the shop… great service great customer service and just all around great people

Taking a trip to Dallas and had some car problems. Was towed to Pep Boys and the service was outstanding. What was going to turn out to be a major headache was taken care of by their outstanding service. Thank You Roach, Justin, and Lamanza!

I was greatly satisfied with the service I received. They put 4 brand new tires on my SUV, replaced my outer tie rods, and had me out of there in no time. The manager on shift even told me about the online promotions going on and applied the discounts. I didn’t even know that they price match either. The guys even take you back in the shop and explain why they recommend certain repairs and show you the issues that could cause a problem driving down the road. Listen, I don’t trust a lot of repair/ service facilities with my vehicle because they are either over PRICED or they recommend repairs that aren’t necessary, but I highly recommend this shop and that’s where I will take all my vehicles.

This has been a great experience all of these guys have been wonderful. Shaun the mechanic kept my in the loop the hole time. He fixed what I could afford at the time and made sure he did a great job on it. I recommend this place for sure. Thanks guys! Lazman and RJ are great as well excellent people!

I needed a flat fixed quickly so I paid the $25 they charged the rim was put back on covered in something gross looking and the flat was NOT fixed. I came back to have them fix it again I complained about the problem calmly and respectfully they were VERY rude please save yourself the trouble and use somewhere else I know I willUpdate after the 2nd time the rim is now scrapped up and flat tire is still NOT fixed going elsewhere to get it fixed this place is a jokeReupdateAfter going elsewhere to actually get it fixed I was informed that they buffed the tire to the wires so there's no fixing it unless you want to invest in a new tire just go somewhere else

I had a wonderful experience with this Pepboys, and I would sincerely recommend their service! I was stranded in Abilene and the damages were looking at 1600 dollars at the official dealership, but Lamanza and the Pepboys fixed her up better than new for half of that price! He went above and beyond to make sure that I was safe and happy through out the whole two day process! I truly recommend their person-oriented customer service and efficiency-oriented work style!

Made a 10am appt to buy a new tire and have it installed; waited in the waiting room for two hours before the car was ready. I would've expected 30 minutes, or an hour, tops.Also, I (a 60 year old man with asthma, taking time from work to replace the tire) had to crawl under my car in the parking lot to wrestle for 15 minutes putting my donut back to its proper storage location because the shop did not do it.Also, $30 for Road Hazard warranty on a $110 tire? Ouch.

Went to Pep boys because my car was shaking in the front end, told them I thought I might need an alignment? They did the alignment which turns out wasn't needed at all TOTAL WASTE OF 110$. Drove the car home shaking was worse and my check engine light came on. Took it to Franklin and Sons in Anson and they found my two tires on the right has the metal showing through. Tires are only 1.5 years old so something I wouldn't have guessed but you would think they would AT LEAST inspect the tires for you. Pep boys never told me, never even saw it...never bothered to inspect why the car was shaking. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO PEP BOYS! However I highly recommend Franklin and Sons in Anson TX they actually care!!!

Honest and trustworthy!! Came in for breaks because my car was telling me that we needed new brakes. Ended up not needing brakes and they sent me on my way. Checked everything thoroughly and told me to come back and have break inspections during my oil changes. highly recommend!

Placed an appointment for oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection, which the website indicated was free with every oil change. I came in for my apt and was told they haven’t been able to do inspections since 2006. The website did not say that there was a possibility of no state inspection at my location, otherwise I would have called ahead of time to ask. Other places I have gone have checked tire pressure when doing rotations, but pep boys did not. The lady that checked me out was extremely professional and nice though. Wish I caught her name.

We needed rear brakes for our car. Wife found and printed a $50 coupon to use at Pep Boys. She knows about cars, so she went in while I waited in the car. Texts me it will be $466.15. I reply, “so $416.15 after the coupon.” She said no - the coupon does not apply. That is when I went in and told her Pep Boys is a ripoff and we can do better. Went to Ridgemont Super Lube. Got the brakes done plus an oil change for $366.85. Will NEVER go to any Pep Boys AGAIN!

Yesterday I called them at 6:30. I had a hole in my tire and was stranded in Abilene with 2 young children. They said if I could find a way to get it there they would look at it and try to fix it. Some strangers helped me and got the tire there. It was 15/20 min till closing. They would not even look at this tire. They wouldn't help at all!!! They wouldn't even attempt to look at the hole. Which literally just needed a plug from a nail!! It takes my husband 5 min to fix. And these guys wouldn't even take a min to try and help me. I will never recommend this place to anyone!! The strangers that helped me were beyond amazing and did so much to make sure my kids and I were safe till I could get the car home. They had plenty of time to throw in a plug. When I called they said as long as I was there by 8. But they wouldn't even look at the tire!! I will never use this place again!!
