Good Faith Energy has an incredible team that focuses on putting the customer first. They have been installing Solar and Batteries for 10 years. I was interested in building a home in the area with a Tesla Solar Roof, and they were able to answer my questions in detail while educating me on the benefits of the Solar Roof with Texas’s hail storms. These guys were great! One of the reasons I hadn't gone solar earlier is that I didn't feel like there was anyone I could trust. All these high pressure sales guys out there, and there are complicated math/decisions to be made, and if you can't trust your installer, or they're spinning ridiculous numbers to make their system look good, then you can't know what the right thing is to do. I found Good Faith Energy by Googling "solar without salesmen", and they were exactly what I was looking for. They were chill, no pressure, answered my 1000 questions, and I never felt like they were trying to put their thumb on the scale to force me to go with them, or to close the sale right away, or to go with a larger system, or a system that would maximize their profit margins. I felt like their advice was clean and unbiased. And on top of that, I got tons of quotes and they were the cheapest! Install went great and without a hitch, fast install, great communication.

The entire GF team made my life easier. I am the type of customer that will ask everything and question everything (just because I want to understand what I am getting into). So from the beginning Mohammad clarified all of my questions and concerns even with the financial aspect and the energy credits and everything else, Samantha my PM which was on top of everything I needed to sign and review, the installation l, electrician and PM crew (after they finished they leave everything super cleaned, not even a piece of plastic was left behind, up to the final meeting with Franz the engineer aka GF team Geek Squad, he walked me through all the system nooks and crannies, helped me up setting the app to the best way to maximize the solar energy and answered all my random questions and concerns (in addition to all the emails he answered me before our official meeting). I am really happy with the outcome of this Solar System journey and I’m looking forward to enjoying the solar freedom and having a backup energy system in case of a power outage.PS I might be leaving some names out of the review, just because I don’t remember, but again the entire team was awesome.

From start to commissioning, the Good Faith Energy team was professional, timely, and performed outstanding work. Moe and Amanda kept me informed in a timely manner and prepared me for each task in the process. The electrical and installation teams did great work in a compressed time frame to beat the weather. I am very pleased with my solar installation from Good Faith Energy and I highly recommend working with Good Faith Energy. The experience from sales, to installation, and then service was transparent and satisfying.My goal was to get all work and inspections completed before the end of the year for tax purposes, and Good Faith helped deliver. Even when things were not in their control, Good Faith worked with local approvers to clarify HOA requirements, and inspectors to move up dates. Amanda, the project manager, was amazing to work with.Now that I have been online +1 week, I’ve learned that by moving things around that I can use my solar and batteries smarter. For example, I moved the pool filtration to earlier in the day and eliminated draining the batteries wastefully. Also, by changing my EV charging to solar only, my grid consumption has dropped. Both the Tesla and Span apps are amazing to interact with.My gotchas have been the insurance costs are higher than sales estimated, and the grid costs thru the power provider have some monthly service charges (but on the plus side, they are buying back credits).Again, I highly recommend working with Good Faith Energy!

Good Faith initially sold me a Tesla 2 battery last year and completed installation at my country home in Hill County after another company failed to complete the job. I had them install another 8 panels this year and I am quite happy with the work. They are a quality company and have been more than willing to go above and beyond their contractual obligations. We are extremely pleased going on our solar journey with Good Faith Energy! I’ve been researching solar for about 2 years. I’ve gone back and forth and talked to about half a dozen companies. I was BLOWN away by the professionalism and personalized serviced provided by GFE. I already had a contract with Tesla for my panels and PW’s, then a friend suggested I call GFE since they can tailor the project much better than Tesla (which is cookie cutter). From first contact they were WAY different than Tesla. They came to my house, showed me many more options than Tesla, and we were able to add additional panels and in a MUCH better layout than Tesla had. So at that point I was impressed, however, would it cost double Tesla, since everyone says they are the cheapest? I was PLEASANTLY surprised that if I went apples to apples equipment wise, they were able to come in very close to Tesla’s price. After much discussion we decided to upgrade to the Microinverters and better panels which did end up costing more, but I think it was worth it in the end. And when do you get a personal call from the owner of the company to discuss your project?! Mohammed Abdalla one of the owners was fantastic throughout the process and was very approachable with any questions I had. And I had a lot of questions! It’s a big investment and you want to go with a company that listens to you and will be around when things go bad. Around 4 months later I realized two micro’s were not working, sent a ticket online, and they are in the process of replacing those with no hassle. Also, the inspector gave a bit of a hassle, and the master electrician came himself to figure things out and we passed after reinspection. Only negative that I can think of is that I did have to pay for sheetrock repairs personally, which was a little odd. Overall super impressed with GFE and happy to answer questions if anyone wants to contact me or even see my set up.

We had a fantastic experience working with several team members from Good Faith Energy. When we approached the team for a quote, we were comparing quotes from two companies – our retail electric provider who contracted through a third party to install solar panels, and GFE, a local installer with a reputation for good quality work and customer service. After looking at detailed options, the choice we made (GFE) was the right one, and here’s why:Sammy was an exceptional salesman, easy to talk to and completely knowledgeable about all things solar, battery, and energy. His brother Mohammed founded GFE. You can tell by talking to Sammy that this family cares passionately about GFE and about their customers. We met with him several times and he was responsive to questions about which panels, what microinverters, what budget etc etc. When we decided to move forward with the quote to reach near energy independence (solar panels + SPAN panel + 2 batteries) he transitioned us to Amanda, the project manager. In the interim, several people came by the house to take measurements & photos so that they provided the most accurate quote. Each person who stopped by was completely professional and courteous.Amanda was another gem as a project manager. She introduced herself on a call and then was in touch throughout the project by email and phone, and was immediately responsive to questions. She oversaw the process of obtaining the necessary approvals with city, HOA and smoothed out all the hiccups along the way (stringent requirements with the city necessitating pre-inspections before the actual inspection). We did not have to deal with ANY of this, thanks to Amanda. The GFE team knows their stuff. I had complete trust. When the installation team came to the house (I was working, my 70+ year old mother was home), she said they were professional, diligent, and courteous. It was also a clean work site. No mess. Thanks GFE.After the installation, Frans conducted a post-installation walk-through. This was a “get to know your system” and was well worth the time to focus and listen and learn. He spent an hour helping me connect to the system on my phone after installing and connecting through the apps, and learning what it means to be in control of our energy usage. He was patient with my dumb questions and helped me reset expectations about what happens in a power outage. I think GFE realizes that to “close the loop” on providing customer service after the installation, it’s necessary to make sure that people buying solar panels understand how their systems work, and the benefit to education about energy use in the home. It was extremely helpful.Since that time, we have enjoyed near 100% solar energy power our home day and night (thanks batteries). The panels look sleek and the system has worked without a hitch. It was a very good investment.For us, this was an investment in our home, which followed *another* power outage in Texas that left me without the ability to open my garage door and get my 70+ year mother out of her 90 degree house. The energy problem in Texas is real during the summer heat now. We are so glad to have made this investment with GFE - because they are a local company, they are very invested in doing superior work for customers. The wraparound service is fantastic. Thanks GFE.

I chose Good Faith Energy out of 7 other installers that I sat down the sales proccess with. I did a lot of my own research regarding Solar. I personally chose GFE because I really wanted the REC Panels and they were the best installers in DFW that carried those panels. GFE is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to answer any additional questions I had or any concerns, even after the solar panels were already installed. It made me feel like a valued customer. My favorite thing about GFE is that they went above and beyond to explain to me all the details so that I can maintain peace of mind with Solar.

We got our Tesla Solar Roof installed in March 2022 and we couldn't be any happier! One year has passed since we got on the Tesla plan and our electricity bills totalled up to $58.07 for the 12 month period. Good Faith Energy has provided excellent service and craftsmanship. Everything went really well for my solar install. From initial consult to install day was less than a month. They take care of all the permits and inspections forn you, so it is rather painless. Installation took about half a day for my system and everything is up and running smoothly. Everything looks great and all of my questions have been answered. I recently had a tesla powerwall system installed at my home. Installers were excellent. Arrived on time and when they did arrive, they let me know what work they'd be performing that day. Also cleaned up after they were finished each day. Project manager was also informative as she kept me posted during each step of the process (which takes about 2-3 months because of interfacing with utility company and getting local install permits). Last process was meeting with field applications engineer who took me through all the necessary info to program my system to my needs. All in all, would I recommend Good Faith to others who may be interested in one of these systems? I absolutely would!!!! Thanks Good Faith.

Had my system put in a couple months months ago. Wanted to wait before putting in a review to make sure everything works correctly. Let me tell you this from day one everything was done professionally from the scheduling, to the permits, installation and the follow up. Mo and his team are quick to respond and are awesome!! Should be saving $6500 - $7500 annual on electric and gas (EV) bills. GFE is the one to go with!!
