Derek has knowledge like few others in the entire state of Texas. If you need a roof, Metal or not, DG Metal roofing is the way to go.Attached is a roof DG roofing recently completed (not mine), it took my breathe away! Have you ever seen a metal roof look so AH-mazing! Finding out they are hurricane tested and come with a warranty.. music to my ears!

I am not one to normally write reviews, however Derek and his crew recently installed a new roof on my house. I'd like to thank them for their professionalism, and fantastic customer service. Derek is very knowledgeable, pricing was fair and reasonable. His crew did an excellent job on installation, as well as clean-up. I'd certainly recommend his company to anyone that needs a new roof. When going out for pricing some contractors were talking about leaving my old 19 year old shingles in place and it would be up to me to get the permit for the work which made the lower price for the work. DG was able to take care of everything. He would remove the old shingles and get the necessary permits and that's what I wanted. DG expressed a good knowledge of the work required. The instillation went well and Derek was there for over site on each day. Clean up was completed satisfactory and Derek returned himself to ensure things went well at the house. I'm pleased with the work and pleased with the looks of the house. On another note people were saying that metal roofs are noisy when it rains hard. Not mine. The under pad that they put down works well and it is quieter than my old shingled roof. Derek and his DG Metal Roofing Co. are highly recommended for anyone considering a new roof.

They even went out of their way to make a repair to the trim under the roof (fascia) that was damaged before they arrived. They cleaned up afterward and the only supervision they needed from me was where to park to not block the circle driveway. DG just finished our standing seam roof just outside the town limits of Santa Fe. I am sitting in the shade in our front yard enjoying the sight of people heading past and slowing down to look, and I can read their lips: Whoo-boy! Because it is beautiful. It is really beautiful. We got the unadulterated silver Galvalume that looks like the sky before a good rain, and it goes with everything on the property, the cedars, the pines, the live oak, because it looks natural and it is natural, just metal (that's so sturdy you can't bend it by hand, and is guaranteed for fifty years). And it was an easy process. Derek Gedes, the young owner of GD, is a great communicator and has both knowledge of and respect for the standards that make good roofs, and he spells it out for you. He honors those standards proudly, and the result is spectacular. His workers are courteous and unflinching in the trial of working hard, in July, in Texas. They cheerfully put in ten and twelve hour days to make sure we were 'dried in' as the old roof came off and the new one went on. I was so nervous, in a new house, in a new town, a single, elderly women, to undertake such a large project, but I must say, you cannot go wrong with this roofing company. DG is the absolute best.

Make sure you get what you pay for. Make sure you hold them accountable. Make sure everything is on paper. $ 100,000.00 for a roof was told this and that and was mostly inaccurate.
